Or you can download sky fire browser and delete it on there then uninstall the browser if you wish to do so

[Q] Any way to delete all messages without going in the app?

Is there anyway to delete all the SMS and MMS messages without going into the stock app itself? Like is/are there any file(s) that I could delete using a file manager?
You can go to Menu - Settings - applications - Manage Applications, find the app in the list and tap on it, and then select clear data. This will wipe out the messages, but it will also wipe out all of the messaging apps settings.
Or you could download an app like SMS Quick Delete and use it.

Restoring from Google's backup had weird effects on the marketplace

Just installed the stock rom today for IMM76I and the market has gone to hell on me immediately.
Every time I go to download or update an app, it goes to the download queue and sits there indefinitely. If I go to the market in the browser, every application I've ever installed just says installed, and it won't give me any option to install it. I can't find any place to clear this data within my account settings or the android marketplace.
I wound up doing a factory reset, and opted to not have Google restore any settings to my phone, and now the market is working fine. Has anyone else run into this issue before?
On a side note, I noticed it cached my wireless network creds as well on the backup. Where do I go to clear that backup data?

When you go into settings and uncheck the tickbox for "backup my data on Google servers" it says, this will delete any backup stored on our servers including wifi settings etc.

Can't remove Nova launcher

I had made Nova into a system app via titanium with root. Now I want to switch back to regular pixel launcher but I am unable to uninstall Nova. I've tried via titanium browser move to user app, and then uninstall. It says it has moved to user data but doesn't seem to really work. I uninstall and then it just keeps coming back.
Any ideas?

Yeah. Even after settings system r/w it fails to delete.
Titanium uninstall completes, but on reboot Nova returns.

If you convert it back to a data app, you might me able to remove it via the playstore. Unless your using a beta build. You should be able to remove it via adb as well. I just don't remember the command atm

Make sure you don't have Nova setup as a Device Admin in Settings -> Security.

[GUIDE][ROOT]Delayed notifications after Titanium backup data restore

Not sure how well known this is, but after Titanium backup data restore, many applications (Whatsapp, Hangouts, ..) experience delayed/missing notifications, especially when restoring complete app data on a new device. Quick fix is to locate and delete this file
Code:
/data/data/app_name_folder/shared_prefs/com.google.android.gms.appid.xml
Force close the app, open it again and notifications will start working fine. This action forces re-connection with Google GMS server responsible for push notifications.
this works for me, i tried it on my redmi note 8, miui 11 global rom

If it's after a factory reset, then yes. Otherwise you should be able to restore all app data without any side effects.
This works for me, thank you so much.

You need root access and newer Android versions (11+) have different path:
Code:
/data_mirror/data_ce/null/0/app_name_folder/shared_prefs
ok, i have root access out of the dev settings and i have android 12. do i need an file explorer app or is it some adb connection?
Root is granted by installation of Magisk, to browse system files you'll need a compatible file explorer - I'm using Total commander from Play store.
