Hey,
So I got a telus galaxy s3 phone and I want to reflash the phone using the Bell image via Odin.
Will that mess up the phone or will it work fine?
Please let me know,
Thank you
It'll be fine I flashed stock Rogers ROM on telus phone and have zero issues. Its a same phone for rogers bell and telus.

Thanks
should have no problem
dont flash the rogers modem on att s3..
you risk losing your imei...
can't i put Imei no back on manually and also if i do lose the imei what am i losing ?
Thanks
if you lose your imei number you will have trouble connecting to network...if you can get connected at all.
I flashed the att modem on my telus s3 awhile back and emei was 0, modem was unknown,, had no cell or data connection.
( used to do the with my old galaxy s1 and got better reception )
I nevered try to manually get my imei number back ,,, I flash back my telus modem and all was good.
I am confused and looking for some help. I have a SGH-i747 ATT S3 which I rooted before when I was on ATT. I currently unlocked it and then decided to change my rom. Being that I was not on TMO network I downloaded a TMO rom however once it was done I got a no sim error. In this situation is best to continue using ATT roms? I am going to unroot back to ATT and see if that clears the problem. What is recommended in my situation?

I unrooted it and flashed the stock ATT rom back to it and it came back to life thank goodness. just an FYI.
Hi all. I am new to all this and the more I read the more confused I become! I bought a T-Mobile T999 with a bad IMEI. I unlocked it and am using it with my Mobilicity SIM card.Everything is working fine except for the wifi hotspot. Also the T-Mobile bloatware is getting in the way. Iwas on my way to rooting the phone when i thought to myself... would it be possible to flash the Mobilicity stock firmware from the SamMobile sight onto the phone. If this doesn't work would I be able to flash the stock TMobile firmware back to the phone? So on the T999 can I flash the Mobilicity T999VVLDMF2_T999VYVLDMF2_MCT firmware from SamMobile
Thanks to any and all who might help.
No to all.

Hi, i'm having trouble going back to stock. I installed stock fido software via odin but, Rogers bloatware is on when I power up. Am I doing anything wrong? Wiped/factory reset, cleared cache and re-installed but same thing.
Thanks
Is this the ROM you are installing?
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1/?model=SGH-I747M&pcode=FMC#firmware
The exact one.
Well, Rogers owns Fido so maybe that's why there is Rogers software in the Fido ROM? I'm not sure since I don't have a Fido phone to test.

I own a fido i747 as well. There shouldn't be any rogers bloadware installed on your phone.
I've gone back to stock before and Fido software was on it but, this time, it put Rogers crap on it. I even used the file I had downloaded originally but
for some reason it wont load Fido this time. Not a huge deal, but i'm a little anal about the whole problem.
[Q] Can you turn an AT&T variant S3 into a Bell or Rogers S3 with a Rom/Modem/Kernel?
I have an AT&T Galaxy S3 that I would like to install a stock Bell or Rogers rom on. The hardware seems to be the same model so I expected this to be straightforward.
I actually already tried with the stock ROM using ODIN but it fails. It didn't write anything to the phone but the ODIN command fails when using a Bell stock ROM in tar format.
I was able to root and install custom recovery on it but I could not find how to make this look/act like a Bell Galaxy S3.
Are you running a 4.3 bootloader?
