NFS Most wanted not working? (slowmotion) - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hey Guys, just want a kinda confirmation, that it´s the "nexus´s" fault or the nfs´s that i got a "slowmotion-alltimemode"
i think i play the game with 0,6x of the normal speed.
i use franco kernel @1,2ghz, 512mhz Gpu.
so has the nexus not enough power or is it a bug by the game?
also tried oc @1,4ghz, still the same :/

Same here dude

probably gnex does not have enough cpu power. game lags on gnex but runs buttery smooth on my s3 and one x
Sent from Samsung Gnex with ParanoidAndroid

I've got the same problem on my GNex, I think the game is not optimized for this device (sadly).

Works fine on stock.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus

works perfectly smooth on stock 4.1.2

Lagged on me on bb6 sprint gnex. Did you guys bought the game or pirated it?

mmh okay guys, so to play i need to go to stock aaargh xD mmh lets see, may be i'll try minco 4.2 based rom. it might work.

buy. i think mentioning piracy is against the rules here

The slowmotion is because of kernel 100 %,i have now aokp milestone 1 and with different kernel dosen't have slow motion,on build 1 was franco kernel.

Using franco512 kernel now with Performance and NFS works fine. I'm running XenonHD

Mine runs very smooth on stock

yes, it seems to be working normal, just installed via nexus toolkit stock rom (about 5minutes). it works well, but it don´t want to use stock hope with 4.2 roms it´s gonna work. if you´re gonna upgrade a rom and fullwiping anyway you can test it

Lags?
WTF?
Works like charm. No lags here. Its buttery smooth!
Running stock unrooted.

its not wirking in my byond b63 too....
it says "un authorized android phone"

I'm running liquid smooth 2.2 and it works fine

New to Gnex, need help with ROMs?

So just got my Gnex about an hour ago, already used the Toolkit to unlock, root, and get recovery. Now, there's SO MANY options out there, im not used to it coming from the G2x, lol. So, I've read up a little about great options, and I seem to want to try AOKP with Franco's kernel. Anyone else want to share their rom+kernel setup?

I have that exact setup you mentioned and it works flawlessly out of the box. Zero issues and zippy.

Best ROM i've ever ran was Stock 4.0.4 IMM76D w/ 007 kernel. Best combo for battery life. If you want to get something different, but still feel somewhat stock-ish...i'd go with Paranoid ROM. Currently running it and it feels just like my Transformer Prime.
I just got mine yesterday and put aokp and Franco on mine(after being struck with a case of the dumb ass) and I love it

Help me pick best rom ;/

This might have been posted couple times sorry if it was but I need some help from you guys.
My issue:
AOKP - after sometime it just gets slow but awesome battery
Android Revolution - RUNS PERFECT! with Franco Kernel or stock does not matter
however issue is : battery dies to fast...
BAMF - after sometime roms becomes slow same as AOKP
MIUI - well the last version I tried was way to slow...
back in the day when I had GS2 the goal was to go from GB to ICS now I really dont know which rom to choose -_-
help apperciated thanks guys
roms dont really become slow over time
most likely you're installing too much crap with invisible background services. Do a wipe and install only the stuff you actually use, and research carefully before installing new stuff.

Actually I have exact same setup with Android HD and its not getting slow at all , same amount of apps I mean everything is the same minus the AOKP custom settings any other way to improve battery with franco on Android HD?
You could try gummy. That's what I'm using it's quick and good battery.
This is the best. After trying many.

Maybe you got a bad ROM flash.
Do a nandroid backup and rewipe everything and reflash.
If it doesn't fix it then just restore to the backup.
Or try a different kernel. I'm using ACS are you jellin rc 2. With the IAP kernel.
Tue only mod I use is to get rid of the Google search bar.

What is the fastest JB rom 4.1.1 for GSM Galaxy Nexus?

Hello everyone,
I wanted to know what was for you the jelly bean's rom 4.1.1 faster and smoother for Gsm Galaxy Nexus.
I'm using the Bigxie Deox. with Triniy Kernel 384-1344 (I prefer it to the Franco's for the best colors but the Franco's performance is the best) and is very fast but if you know the fastest rom, the advice is welcome.
Maybe you can publish a benchmark with Antutu of your rom. (but with cpu clock speed 1.2ghz)
Thank you.
My Bench ( noop+interactive govern) is...
Your really asking what rom gets the highest benchmark scores aren't you? I also use the same rom as you currently with fancos kernel and I really can't imagine how anything on my phone could be smoother. Flashing another rom to get a 'faster' experience doesn't seem possible in my opinion so I'd personally say it's a pointless question (unless of course you just want a big benchmark number).

Yes, i mean the rom gets the highest benchmark scores. I asked this question because I would be curious to know the benchmark scores of Euroskank by morphic and androidMe 1.1 rom.

What exactly are you disappointed about? Try the latest official builds of cm10 or aokp. Not a nightly or a kang.. an official build.
Try Paranoid, it looks pretty wild!
SHHHH!!!! You're not allowed to say that!
I've done the same as you. The only change I've made to stock is run nova launcher to make it a bit more purdy and personalized.
Minco is pretty nice since it's really close to stock but faster, but in the end I'd rather just run stock for peace of mind (not that Minco was unstable).
Stock based roms perform the best in my opinion. Although Bamf Paradigm and Wasabi Miui run well for me, if I run them with trinity 1344 kernel.
IMO It seems like CM and AOKP stay in the nighties phase for way too long, and bugs and stability issues take too long to fix. This has been the case on most phones I have owned. They are great innovative roms though. I find it rare when a Rom with loads and loads of features runs as good as stock based roms do. I love having features, but performance, stability and battery life are above all features for me. I can just find mods myself anyways and add them as I need.
If stock is what works best for you, run stock, there's nothing wrong with that.
Why do you want people to change your mind?

The last ROM flashed was team baked black ROM it was OK but the force issues became very annoying .I was just asking am I doing something wrong when flashing ? I don't seem to get the same user experience from using jelly bean. There is only one feature I've used that isn't stock is fast reply which I think is brilliant and will definitely be in 4.2

Fast reply, I don't even know what that is but anyway, Android comes down to user preference, if you enjoy stock, then rock it dude, I've tried only a handful of roms here but stock gives the most solid performance 9 out of ten times. granted I'm running Slimbean now, but I like to flash every two weeks and this rom is pretty great aside from bootup time XD.

i just hit 260h with no reboots. custom built from src, JRO03R, maguro. rock stable so far. gcc 4.7.0.
just saying, stock can be rock stable, and still be fast and responsive, if you're willing to tweak it and spend time testing it.

I've tweaked till the cows come home but I think Google have totally cracked it to be honest and early reports about 4.2 seem to suggest they've went one more step in terms of speed and look .The quick reply feature is in cm10 when you receive a SMS you get a pop up window at anytime so you can instantly reply ,must be enabled tho .
