[Q] getting back from JB to ICS Please Help :'( - HTC One X

Dear All
i was trying to look for similar posts like my issue , but i didn't find any so i opened a new one.
I have a Maximus JB Rum following the installation I had to go to HBOOT 1.28
The CID_102 and device version-main: 3.14.401.600 (HTC's support told me that he was originally from Germany)
I have problem with my GPS probably a hardware failure with the unit . since the GPS has never worked for me and HTC support have not been able to solve it.
Now I have to send them the product to Greece for repair. The problem I am afraid they will not fix my device and i wont get warranty.
So I want to go back to the original STOCK Rom means to ICS since there is still no JB's original Rom as I understand
I'd be happy if someone could help me on :crying:
I can not find any articles on this topic ...:crying::crying:

Hi,
As i posted earlier that whatever SMS that i receive it lags 4 hours. Currently I am using SMSFix to tackle this issue but this thing is bothering me that why to install a special app for that. it gives me problem if i get text messages when this service is not running.
SO, I thought may be the issue is because my HTC Desire is EU Unlocked. Just want to give a try i am trying to search for HTC Desire US specific ROM. I have searched online, but could not fiind one .. Please refer me to one.
- I am not looking for any CUSTOM ROM.
- I have not ROOTED by device yet. Still waiting someone to anwer my question on other thread to root.

[Q] How to unroot to stock/factory rom

Hi Guys,
I have a European (Dutch) HTC Desire Z and I want to get back to stock rom en radio etc. I have my S-OFF my device with "Gfree". Is it safe for me to go back to a stock rom and radio? And does someone know which rom and radio I must use. Hope someone can help, it's NOT the TMOUS version which I own.
The reason why I want to go back to stock is my touch screen is not responding at some points and I need to send it to HTC. Hope someone can help me. Thnx
not sure about dutch version but theres a few guides to go back stock in the dev section. the guides are easy to follow.

Guys, thx for the advice.
But with the HTC desire Z screen type you cant do a screen calibration right? If so, could you point me the way how to do this?
The guides on the internet are all for the G2 of T-mobile, so also the rom's are for T-mobile.
Hoping to see more reactions

Looking for UK O2 Shipped Rom for HTC One V

Hi,
I rooted my HTC One V and deleted some bloatware (flickr, ebay etc.) and now, even after relocking my phone and resetting it to factory settings, I can no longer install software updates because I'm missing these stock apps. From what I understand I have to reflash my phone with a rom that matches the cid for my phone (O2__001), is that correct? Am I right in thinking that I'm looking for a UK O2 shipped rom (x.xx.207.x)? If so, does anyone know where I might find one? I've searched everywhere (including this forum) and cannot find anything suitable.
I realise that it's my own fault for not making a proper back-up (lesson learnt!) but I'd be really appreciative of any help.
Thanks
R
I have found the sourcecode for the build on the htcdev website. Is it a bad idea to try and compile the rom myself (baring in mind that I'm obviously total noob when it comes to Android, but have quite a bit of experience running linux)? Does anyone have any advice about this?
Hey, I'll give you a link where you can download it, I've got backup of mine ...

Plz help....first post and need advice plz

Hello, firstly just wanted to say thanks to you all for posting your helpful info on the website, it really does help!!!
But unfortunately im stuck and could use some help/advice/tutorial please.
I have a HTC One V that is bought from Carphone Warehouse UK, and isnt sim locked.
I rooted, unlocked the bootloader, and then put on stock Vanilla ICS, although in the process i was at a point where the phone was sticking on the HTC screen.
Eventually i got it to go past that and now i have Vanilla ICS on there (I THINK!!)
But my problem now is i cannot use three finger swipe to pair to my Media Link HD, or even pair to it at all
And i use my media link a lot.
Basically i want one of 3 things really, and im hoping someone can help me out
1) Stay on Vanilla ICS and get my phone paired to my Media Link HD
2) Get another ROM that doesnt have HTC Sense (which was why i put Vanilla ICS on the handset) but will still pair up to my Media Link HD
3) Revert back to stock rom
Oh, i also used CID Getter to get this info from the handset, although i dont know what it means ive just read somewhere its useful:
20.72.30.0833U_3831.17.00.18_M
And my last thing, if this is in the wrong place i apologize in advance, if you could point me in the right direction
Thanks
James

This goes in Q&A, but to answer your question media link is a Sense feature. You would need to be on a stock rom to use it.

Look for my signature to return to stock.
Also if you vant Vanilla, you can install Apex or Nova launcher into the stock ROM. Not the same, but almost.
From the line you inserted (baseband version)I think your device is a WWE europe at the version of 2.08.401.2, but CID will be better.
For the ruu go to development and search for the stock roms thread (link here).

[Q] HTC One X international no IMEI and Baseband

Hi,
I'm new here and i have to say i learned a great deal of you guys since i need this forum
The issue i'm having with my HTC one X International now is that i don't have an IMEI nor a BASEBAND no more since Friday.
My phone was not unlocked friday so it couldn't come from malicious fw or something.
So monday i decided to unlock the phone and look around to fix it.
I flashed a Cryanogen Mod but this didn't fix it.
Yesterday i flashed the Android Revolution MOD 33.1 and my phone came back up for several hours.
This morning i did my application updates and all of a sudden ... no more IMEI no more connexion to the network and no Baseband.
Is there a solution for this?
Thanks in advance for your Help
Please Help me
