xperia arc s: cannot boot to custom rom

Hi,
I have an xperia arc s Lt18a. So here what happened:
1. I unlocked bootloader
2. used fastboot to enter CWM and tried to install http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1539752
3. The aroma installer said "install successfully so I restarted my phone
4. After the SE logo appears for a few seconds, the screen goes blank.
I tried to install with some other custom roms but I get the same problem. Thank you for your help.

Did you follow the instructions correctly?

I did follow the steps. I tried to install the custom roms many times. I flashed the official 4.0.4 ftf and followed step by step. I also flashed DoomKernel before install the custom rom.
So far, I can only flash official firmware but I cannot install custom rom because of the problem described.

Try flashing some other ROM..

in order to install ka21 rom, u need stock kernel with cwm.
1)flash .432(4.0.4) firmware on your phone.(dont worry everything that goes wrong can be corrected once you have a unlocked bootloader)
2) flash the kernel from the below thread.

3) now, enetr cwm and then install your preferred rom.
u also need to wipe catch partition.

[Q] Help with existenz rom.!!

i wanted to install @niaboc79 's existenz ultra rom v2.. so..
i went according to the process as it was said
i did flash my phone with sony's latest firmware .2.67
i have a locked bootloader.
rooted and installed cwm.
then i put the v2 of existenz ultra rom in my internal storage..
wiped data, cache and dalvik cache..
installed the rom.
then when i pressed the reboot system now.. it said that rom may flash stock recovery on boot fix?
first i tried with yes, but it got stuck at the sony logo and would not go further.
again i did the same procedure and this time i tried no. but still it is getting stuck at the same place..
plz help... how to i get this rom running...

flash latest ftf for ZL, root then install CWM, now download existenz rom "v2" put it on your sd card, go to recovery flash the rom... you don't need wipe because you had installed ftf and it delete all (make sure no field is checked while flashing with flashtool)
i used that rom without problem... CM 10.2 now

ok so now i am on v1 of the rom cause of many tries i made it woukd still get stuck at the sony logo.
v1 installed without any problems..but don't know why the v2 is not..
any suggestion on how do i upgrade now without going into the bootloop again..:fingers-crossed:

[Help] Sony xperia S boots in cwm automatically

Hello, i flashed cwm to my sony xperia S and then flashed a rom. Now my phone boots into cwm automaticaly. I cant boot into my new rom? what should i do?

hard reset , Camera Button & Poweroff & VOL+ , flash a Stock ROM 1.96 , fastboot DoomLord Kernel for 1.96 , Flash a custom ROM via CWM

Sony Xperia Arc S LT18I phone is rooted, unlocked bootloader and custom kernal and rom, after new flash with cwm i am stuck on boot logo LegacyXperia, when i try to use pc companion or flash tool i get when it attempts to install the semc flash driver my pc hangs each time any ideas ?

i manage to flash using flashtool to stock rom LT18i_4.1.B.0.587_(1254-27160), now i am trying to install custom kernel but everytime i go into fastboot it asks for sony adb interface driver ? i have enabled usb debugging ?
Model: LT18I
Android version: 4.0.4
Kernel version: 2.6.32.9-perf
Build: 4.1.B.0.587

Solved all issues with perseverance;
What i had to do was update adb driver, manually choose from list and select fastboot driver, after that i installed rush_kernel and rush_wifi_kernel to fix issues and resolve wifi not working on rom after each installation clear dalvik cache.
All working now

Arc S stuck on TWRM, cannot flash stock ROM with Flashtool (missing MTP driver)

Hi guys, I'm stuck with this problem for days so I really hope you can help me... I have Xperia Arc S which was on 4.4.2 Omni ROM so I wanted to try some new custom ROM... I have Team Win Recovery Project v2.6.3.0 and this is all I can see/do for the moment...
When I tried flashing new ROM after reboot phone stuck on xperia legacy logo...
I tried different ROMs with no luck, I followed all procedure but with no success... I even tried to flash to stock ROM with flashtool but problem is that I'm missing MTP drivers and flashtool cannot flash stock firmwire (gives me error about missing drivers although I've installed them from flashtool drivers folder)...
Any advice or ideas pretty please? :crying::crying:
