As title says, GTA III is on sale right now for 99 cents. Not sure now much longer the deal will last but I just bought it to use with my Nexus 7.

Don't forget to get the 6 axis app so you can use your ps3 controller with it, plus if you search for it you'll find a great saved game file on xda. Don't forget to map the controller before you try to use it.now get back into your hole slick Rick, nice work on king kang btw.
after you get the game install this for unlimited stuff

Didn't see it posted anywhere but all game loft games are 99 cents.
Just do a quick market search for gameloft and they will all come up.
I just got 9mm and its running good. Modern combat 3 is not 99 cents but will be this weekend for only 24 hours. Good deal on games. Worth trying out imo

Got also 9mm. The game rocks
Is Modern combat 3 available for the Nexus Galaxy? Tried to purchased it via the gameloft shop yesterday and it was not listed to be compatible with the Nexus Galaxy...
Even if its not comaptiable its showing in the market so you could buy and download then when its compatible just update it.

Someone already posted that PowerVR version worked on the Galaxy Nexus. But I would wait till market update.
just bought 9mm too. Cool game. Anyone know when the 24hour sale for MC3 is going to be? I would assume tomorrow last day of 2011.
Are any of these games playable with the sixaxis controller of the PS3 like Shadowgun?

Yes, please do. thanks, I will most definitely buy it when it goes on sale!!!
Modern Combat 3 has worked on my Galaxy Nexus since version 1.0
Any one else had issues with asphalt 6 HD? The when you use accelrometer/gyroscope (not sure which it uses) to steer the car veers straight of to the left.
I had a read through the market coments and some people report on the GN, I can only assume these people are not using sensor based controls.
I downloaded an app to check all my sensors are working correctly and there soes not appear to be any issues.
Also Doodle Jump works perfectly

Just grabbed it, thanks!
Apparently, my device isn't compatible? What
Now I need to grab a six axis controller and an hdmi adapter.
Damn, I missed out on MC3!
I know it's not G Nex specific, but good info for someone who has not been wanting to pay $5 for the app.
They are having a Memorial Day sale. The price goes back up to $5 on Monday.

Thanks for posting it.
I'm torn about this game though. The virtual control is terrible and I could never play through the game enjoyably with that. I could connect a PS3 controller to it, but in that case I might as well just play the PS2 version on a bigger screen.
I could see this being worthwhile if you don't have a PS2/PS3 and your primary gaming device is your phone connected by MHL... but otherwise...
For a buck i think i will grab it
Got it a few hours ago and have downloaded all the files. I'll play it when I get home though.
Just got it. Seems to run smooth on galaxy nexus

I downloaded, it's a memory oinker. I haven't had a chance to play it yet but I noticed once it starts it doesn't want to stop.
I can't get it too run with the latest cm9 nightly and Franco's nightly 165.

I really enjoy it on my HP TouchPad. I think the controls might be a little difficult to use on smaller devices, as it was with my Nexus S, but the galaxy is about as small of of device as I'd want to use.

Definitely worth $1. Seems to run very well.

Its possible he might not the data for the download if its large or any other weird reason. Think before you talk please.

It's also possible it's a paid app that he doesn't want to pay for only to find out that it doesn't even work.
I've bought it however I'm low on data and would like to know how it runs before throwing my data away, its 1.3gb.

It runs on my N7 (downloaded of WiFi at home) however I left it in England and only have my GNex with me in France.

Okay I've looked into it, I might actually purchase this because it looks awesome. Love RPGs but I saw reviews from the play store to internet saying it runs great with no issues. I did see someone mentioned Two versions of the game - HD/SD. I'm assuming you bought the SD version.
But yes the nexus seems to play it fine, I'm sure it might run a bit slower compared to a tablet lol but I will also say it will depend on your ROM/Kernel choice too. I'm sure there won't be issues but you never know .
Anyway hoped that helped, I really probably buy this but by the time I'm ready to purchase my info probably won't be helpful lol.

Thank you. There is only one version of the game, just when you download it on a device with Tegra 3 (Nexus 7 ) it will give you the option for HD data that's about 3.2gb. I'm downloading it now, I've only played about an hour on my N7 but it is an awesome game, very funny. I really recommend you buy it. I'm using stock JB with root and trinity, i hope it runs well.

I did, its a fantastic game so far! I'm playing with everything maximum/ water "on"/shadows all etc. Running fine with no lag.
I am however disappointed in the audio, its pretty low quality from headphones not sure about speaker. But damn its a wonderful game, this might be the only game I continue to play on my android. Besides Mcpixel another game I suggest you buy if love humor. I never usually play on my android but this game has got me skin deep lol.
Thanks for letting me know about this game.

Great to hear, glad it works well. Still downloading on my crappy conection but looking forward to it, I get very bored on the ferry. Like I said, I haven't played much but for the price you can't go wrong, they say it has 20+ hours of gameplay. Have fun

Should we turn this into a "what's for sale thread?"
I found Avengers Initiative for $0.99 reg $4.99 and Office Suite Pro $0.99 reg $14.99 today.
