Ktoonsez stock kernel??? - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Where can i download the ktoonsez stock kernel to recover my wifi and bluetooth drivers...i couldnt find the link...
Thanks

There is no such thing as a ktoonsez stock kernel. Ktoonsez makes custom kernels. Tell us which rom you are referring to, and maybe we can help you out with the kernel from that rom.

Flash a stock firmware to restore the drivers. You have to find your carrier specific firmware, or you could try installing a stock kernel. Those would probably be your easiest ways.

He's got a link in the first post of his thread to a rooted stock kernel that has all the stock modules

[Q] Custom ROM for Defy

Hello all,
I've been using my Defy with android 2.1 eclair for 1 year and I'm still very happy with it despite the lack of flash player..
..but now I would like to try some ROMs like CM7 or MIUI but I need some advice on which ROM is more stable and ready for a everyday use! I don't want my phone restarting or crashing when I need to call or write sms.
So: which is the more stable?
Inviato dal mio MB525 usando Tapatalk
CM7 is quite good and it has brilliant performance.
MIUI is good too. Beautiful and stable.
Since both of them have completely different look it is good if you try both of them and choose your preferred ROM. I'm actually using WajkUI (GB) and it is very stable and as of now it has very good battery life.
You could try that and see for yourself.
Cheers.
Before CM7 I would like to flash froyo... what are the steps i have to follow to flash froyo from eclair?

you should first root your phone
install 2-init and
then install any other custom rom
in case u wanna revert back to 2.1
other way you'll get stuck
on froyo...
imo, you should officially upgrade to froyo if its available in your region.

that's right
go to motorola website and download motorola updater to update to 2.2
then root your phone and go on CM7.1
Thanks for the replies! Motorola software update doesn't seem to work, it always give me a blank screen and I cannot do anything.. i tried also in compatibility mode but it doesn't work.. I don't know, maybe it's due to wibdows 7 64 bit? or net framework wrong installation?

Flash MB4 and after that, via CWM, Kyrillosv7B.
Why you don't answer in ROM thread, instead of opening a new thread anywhere?

Because i'm "noob", and xda have a restriction for new users in developers zones...
So I only flash MB4, is not necesary flash before MB2?

Actually there's a Question and Answer thread for Galaxy Ace II , you can try asking there next time. Just flash MB4 directly and don't forget to check the Repartition option.

Let me use your post to comment about my experience on Dr. K's V3.
I installed with full wipe, (data/factory reset; cache; dalvik cache) and formats (cache, system, data, preload). It all went very smooth, but once I configured everything I didn't had the help to activate air view (InteractiveTutorial.apk).
I looked for the apk inside the DrKetan_Custom_ROM_V3Hybrid.zip, but couldn't find it.
Does anyone know how to activate the air view, or a link to download de after mentioned apk?. Thanks in advance
Have you tried asking in dr k v3 thread?
I can't ask there because I don't have enough posts and that is a Development thread

No idea, but you can install coustom recovery in the "dr aroma installer" and then flash supersu.
Im about to flash Hurricane V5.0, really all the Note3 features i need is: launcher, weather widget, icons (maby built in already?) and of course transparant statusbar (same here?).
Is there someone that can give me with this?
(to install "note3 pack" i get alot of blotware that i do not need)
I think all this features are already in the ROM without any additional Mod. N3 launcher has transparent status bar

transparent status = yes
the rest = no
The icons are from N3, also the Internet browser. The weather widget I understand not

Is there an easy way to get rid of the data counter in the status bar. I find it extant distracting.

Using any n910f MM rom?

Now that people are upgrading to the MM firmware and unlocked boot loader, is there a way to use n910f MM roms on our devices. from how i understand it , previously on 5.1.1 we had to use some sorta data fix to get working wifi and cell data.. now that we are on MM roms.. is there a data fix needed to use roms from other carriers (n910f) and international models. Since as of now Jasmine is the only rom i know of for our Verizon model on 910v . there seems to be a much bigger selection of other variants can be used.
The n910f series of true mm roms won't work as of yet. You would I believe need a data fix, but as of now no one had put one out. The say you can revert back to the 5.1.1 modem, and data fix. Data will work but not Wi-Fi.. I have tried a couple different roms, kernels and data fixes. Nothing worked for Wi-Fi...

I will say there was one or two that worked and since I have tried them all pretty much I forgot which work. even with the MM baseband and modem BCP1 I think it is ... can we flash this on our 910V??

Using louforgiveno's data fix, you can use ROMs based on Marshmallow. It's possible for a Marshmallow ROM to be based on Lollipop, so you'll have to do you homework before flashing. louforgiveno's fix has been tested on the Noble ROM.
Wifi calling seems to be a big deal for some people. Noble ROM does not have it, and from the limited experience I had with using N910F/G ROMs, none of them do.
i tried F etc rom on V but not workable
