Rooted HTC Desire Fails to flash rom

just think i finally have rooted my phone, because the unrevroke program was done, and i closed it, i tryed to flash rom but all i get is error 7, etc...
cant flash anything...
any idea?

Did you get the superuser-app installed? Then you should be rooted successfully and something else is in the way.

i dont think so.... What is the newst firmware?
dont know if my firmware is old...
what shall i then? flash to ruu and try agian?_
do i need to gget S-off?

dude, I think you need to fiddle less and read more.

What desire u have? GMS or CDMA (CDMA mean is without sim card)? What rom fail to flash?

boot problem with DESIRE

Hi, i hope you help me.. I had miui rom on my desire. I want original stock rom, som i download RUU_Bravo_HTC_Europe_1.15.405.3_Radio_32.30.00.28U_4.05.00.11_release_121865 and instal it. Everything was ok, but phone dont start. Just white screen with htc logo. I want reflash miui from recovery, but i cant get into recovery now. Please help me .. som tutorial or advice.. THANK YOU..

Nope, didn't even look before you posted. This is why I won't help you.

Where are you from?
So you installed the RUU. After installing a RUU, you don't have Root anymore, and i thing the Recovery is removed, too. So you cannot boot into recovery and flash an other ROM. Before doing this, you have to make the Desire S-off again (i think it's S-onn again, but i'm not sure), and you have to install a Recovery again, and you musst root the device an other time.
About your Problem with the Stock ROM (Ruu) i cannot help you. Maybe you can try to reinstal the RUU.

Thats u stuck in RUU mode. All u got to do is flash the correct RUU for ur device or flash the 2.3 gb upgrade from htc dev. Are u s-on or s-off?

If you're S-Off and rooted, then install a custom ROM. There is a whole section devoted to that. BTW, while flashing an RUU, follow all the steps correctly. AND FIND YOUR OWN VERSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Q] Update to Hboot 1.57 and new radio....HELP

Hey guys I'm a noob to posting in a forum but do plenty of reading in them. I erased my stock rom like a moron without backing it up and have been searching everywhere for the correct ruu or stock set up for my onev......Please help everytime I try to run ruu I get error code 155 which is incorrect ruu. Ive followed all the walk throughs and nothing works....i cant even use the rom.zip renamed PK76IMG.zip because it says faild Older version?? please help if you can!

for now you have to use an OTA supported rom there is no ruu out that will revert u back to stock hboot/radio

Thanks for the suggested links....im running Rythmic Rom now and it does alright but I cant recieve messages and I miss my camera! LOL

also please tell me.. what Firmware/Radio/hBoot version should i update....

You don't need to update anything, your hboot supports all roms.
Unlock the bootloader, flash a custom recovery and install super user.zip

thats what i asked ... how to do it...?

It's a great guide for anything you need for your phone. Take the time to read it and you will achieve the Root.

Yes ....and ? He still has to unlock the bootloader and flash a custom recovery, no other way !
