I bought the HTC stereoclip for my s3 and it works great using the aptx media. The problem is it does not work with phone calls. So I got the idea to use my groove IP the make voip calls to fix this problem. It works when the phone is ringing but as soon as the person answers the sound no longer goes through the stereoclip. Is there any way to fix this? Get calls to work? I thought making my calls through voip would take care of this.
I'm disappointed that HTC would make such a good device and not have it work with phone calls. This kind of ruins it.

Hi All! (pohe = phone)
I have a strange "problem": sometimes when I receive a call, I hear the caller's voice before I pick up the phone. I hear that she or he is breathing, speaks to somebody, etc. Same thing as in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5W0OWDPhn0
How is it? Do You know something about it?
Now I use LeeDroid 2.2, but the same thing happened with the stock ROM, so I don't think it's ROM-related...but who knows...
Thanks!
There is a similar thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=745969
But without a solution.

I've narrowed this down in my case to it being an issue with receiving calls from the AT&T mobile network. All the calls I've received that do this are from AT&T users or Net 10 users (which are using the AT&T network). No issues with calls from other Sprint users, Verizon, etc. As of now, Sprint hasn't been able to offer a fix.

So it might be an issue with the carrier not the phone or rom, maybe the sim, don't know.
Thanks for Your answer, I'll check this tread.

Hey everyone!
I have, what i hope to be, an easily solvable issue.
I am studying abroad and my school gave me a free nokia crap phone which is great for making phone calls. I also happened to bring with me my G2 (unlocked) and have a seperate plan with just data, I just carry these two phones around and the system has pretty much worked fine for me.
However, I realized today that I coud forward the incoming calls from my crap phone to my G2. I like this because since I have a nice phone I kinda wanna use it! I only have one issue, outgoing calls. If I could set up outgoing call forwarding to my crap phone, I could just leave it in my room and just carry around the G2.
TLDR, is it possible to make calls through the G2 and have it routed through my other phone number?

Are you rooted? If you are and your running on CM Roms there's an option for call forwarding, i never checked on stock and different roms so don't ask me
Fly like a G2
Not possible. Take a look at GOOGLE VOICE, may be able to help.
Yeah, definitely sounds like a Google Voice thing, and a fun problem to solve really.
Gvoice won't work because it only works with american numbers but I'm in israel.

doesn't the nokia have a sim? take the sim out and put it in your g2!
Problem is that I use a data sim in my G2...switching the 2 sims constantly would be more annoying than carrying two phones.

I am having the same problem, I am looking to forward outgoing calls to my nice phone.
Did you figure a way to do it?
- Either by programmatically create conference calls?
- Or by having the calls forwarded?
Thanks, Jonathan
Hi I have two issues with the GN2.
1. I use Outlook with about 1500 contacts and the voice dialing over bluetooth is very slow and seems to not be as accurate as it could be, and wastes steps in getting to where it starts dialing the call. I came from a Lumina 710 w/Windows 7.8 and there is no comparision to how well windows voice dials over bluetooth as compared to the GN2. It's almost a deal breaker and I might return within the 14 days. A good answer or remedy to make it more accurate and speed it up would help.
2. I am using "Record My Call" and it will only record the "incoming" portion of the call when calling with bluetooth, not my side, but is very clear and loud for the other person. I can record both sides of the call if I don't use bluetooth, but the recording quality is not as good. Is there any work around to get my side of the conversation recorded over bluetooth? Thanks.
Ken B
Well, I have my return authorization code and am returning the Note II today. Wish the voice dailing over bluetooth would have worked better because otherwise, this phone is great. Ken B.
Outlook+windows mobile=good
Outlook+google android=bad
Gmail+google++android=good
Change phones, or port contacts, me id choose the later
Android for life
What bluetooth headset r you using? Might be a compatability issue in the bluetooth stack

Hi Rhiannon, I'm using a Plantronics Pro Voyager and it is top of the line as far as I can tell. I did receive the Lumina 810, and it is just as accurate and fast as the Lumina 710 I had before or faster in voice dailing. No comparison at all with the Note II, and I really think it has to do with the "guts" of how S voice works with all the contacts I have. I think that if a person only had a hundred or so contacts S voice might work fast and accurately, but for 1200 contacts and multiple numbers per contact, it really bogged down. Maybe next phone will be Android, but for now, I will stick with Windows. Thanks.
I havent tried record my call yet im using callrecorder for root users, and I have a cheep jabra. Svoice works flawlessly

Using this recording over normal phone works perfect use api recording. Under standard api sertings, set bluetooth recording to voice communications, and two way recording over bluetooth will work. U also need to tick the recorde over bluetooth box

I have tried a few call recording apps but none seems to work on this device. I really want to auto record all calls made from my phone. Kindly recommend a solution. Also I was wondering if there is any app which can relay phone audio including incoming calls via radio frequency waves which my car radio can catch and I can play music from my phone and also receive calls on my car radio.

I have a note 1 GT-N7000 and almost never talk on my cell phone - I use my Gvoice VOIP for that with a real home phone. However, there will be times I'll need to talk on a cell phone.
Anyone have any idea if or how this might be workable on a nexus 7 lte with say, the T-mo $30 walmart plan (100 minutes a month, 5GB data)? I know that there are VOIP app options like GrooveIP but that has really sucked for me in the past. I doubt there will be a voice mic on the nexus 7 LTE but bluetooth would work. The only problem I see is there not being a native dialer?
Is this somewhat possible or is this a hopeless endeavor?

probably a lack of response as there are 2 or 3 current threads with responses in the past 24 hrs.
there is a microphone.
you can make VOIP calls via speaker method.
i installed a dialer from the playstore and could not make calls.
i installed GO SMS PRO from the playstore and SMS work perfectly.
i installed LINE & WHAT'S APP and they work fine.
my voice calling relies on skype:
OUTGOING - using on using skype Caller ID to identify my usual Australian mobile phone number
INCOMING - calls to my Australian mobile phone number are forwarded to my Australian skype number

But we cannot do a normal call. Is hardware or a software problem?
Has anyone got a native dialer to work at all?
You're not going to be able to make cellular voice calls on the Nexus 7 LTE. It doesn't have the hardware.
I'll sell you my Samsung Galaxy 7.7 if you want a giant phone, however.

It is probably not a hardware limitation. Hopefully there will be ways to get around. I love my 7.7 but the Nexus is definitely better

well today i've installed Go SMS on my N7 LTE n i was able to receive and even send SMS (real SMS through mobile carrier network, not the OTT service).
I've also tried to install Go contacts, which has a dialer to test the phone call ability but no luck, N7 didn't seem to catch the call although i could still hear bip bip through my phone (which call the N7' sim)
conclude: n7 can go texting just fine, but can't make a call. i don't know if developers can solve the latter.
