I have the Sprint version of the Touch Pro 2. My preferred ringer setting is "vibrate and ring". However, if I temporarily switch to either vibrate or silent mode, when I turn the volume back on, it goes back to the "ring only" setting. Is there any way to have it return to my preferred setting?
Same problem here, and it is driving me nuts! I go from quiet to noisy environments and it is causing me to miss calls. Someone please help!!!
I spoke with HTC tech support today. They were able to reproduce the issue on a phone they had on hand and acknowledged the problem and created a case file. They said it will be researched and fixed in a future software update.

To turn off the vibration, go to Start>settings>Sounds & Notifications>Notifications>Open the drop down menu and scroll to the Event: you want and deselect vibration.
Hope that helps.
there is not deselect vibrate for events, it only has on or off...
WillardZ is right. You have two possibilities for, fi, email: vibrate or not. So, when you're in silent/vibrate mode and you have selected not to vibrate for new email, it will not vibrate. As fas as I know, it is not possible to have it the way you want, e.g. in silent mode vibrate and when not in silent mode do not vibrate. The only way to get around is to set it up manually every time you switch modes. To get rid of the blinking light, just deselect it at the same page of the sound settings for new email/sms.
Hello guys! Can you tell me if can I turn off all the vibration when I touch the screen and the keys (pad with home, back etc) ? I went into settings / customization / vibration. I turned off the vibration tactile feedback but at the keyboard and if I use some applications remains vibration. Thanks!!!
Is there a way to control vibration intensity of Phone ring and key press? I want the phone ring vibration intensity at 100 percent and keyboard key press intensity at 1-5 percent. There is a xposed module, but i want to change it in the config file. Please let me the location if such a thing exists.

You can change the vibration intensity by using kernel auditor or synapse. For keyboard(either AOSP or google keyboard) go to settings >language and input >AOSP or Google keyboard >preferences > and turn off vibrate on key press. That's it. Simple...no need of those complex config files.

Thanks.. but i need the keyboard vibration with the minimum value and don't want to turn it off.
At 0percent vibration intensity the phone still vibrated

The minimum vibration intensity is 70%. Below that you cannot even sense the vibration. So what's the use of decreasing it to 0%. And btw there won't be two separate vibration intensities. If you change the intensity that will apply to all the apps that use vibration.

It feels like there are two vibration intensities Or may be the time duration the motor is switched ON for the button press and the phone ring is different. Hope someone clarifies this.
I'm using the Google keyboard. With my m9 I remember that if I put the phone into silent mode (the one just below vibrate), the haptic feedback would also turn off. But with the m10, unless i go into power saving mode in the power settings, I can't seem to find a fast way to go to silent and disable haptic feedback. Any ideas?
