AOKP build 5, jelly bean. It will satisfy your basic needs. No random reboot or Sleep of death.

There's no such thing as a custom ROM with no bugs. Even factory firmware has bugs. Expect bugs even with stable ROMs.

how to add a slight mod to jelly bean

Hi there, RIght now i am using cyanogen mod 9, i really like it, but i want to upgrade to one of the jelly bean roms. i have installed Jelly Belly, but there was one key feature missing that i have come accustomed to. Its the feature to add more buttons on the bottom of the screen. can anyone point me to a place where i can just add that mod to another rom? like a zip to install? here is what i have and would really want on Jelly Bean

What's everyone's favorite kernel for AOSP Jelly Bean so far?

Didn't see a thread on this so I thought I would ask everyone's opinion on their favorite kernel for 4.1.1

I haven't tried other than stock, Trinity alpha 28 and Franco #210-220. So far my favorite is Franco #220.

Sorry guys, I scrolled down the threads in the Q and A section through 100 of them and didn't see anything about best/favorite kernels.

What is your favorite theme for the T Mobile SGS3?
Post the Rom You are running it with.
Jeez.. 100+ views, not one response. I ran the Blue Mod v3 theme for a while and loved it.
The theme engine on Cyanogen.

Toroplus kernels

What are some good Toro plus kernels?
I only know of the lean one
I'm looking for jb and ics versions for each
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
They all work... you can flash any kernel.
Sent From My Toro+ via RED Tapatalk
Air, Franco, Nyan and even samurai are all pretty comparable to lean. Just pick and play.

Gonna have to bump this one a little.
I'm only looking for ext2 support in order to run linuxonandroid, something I don't seem to have in the CM nightly, which surprised me a lot (see screenshot).

So Air kernel seems ok... but can't see any ext2 support there either. This is needed for most Ubuntu image downloads:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1727100
I don't want to flash a whole new ROM since this CM nightly is working well and I don't want to have to set it all up again.
Am I missing something?
and trinity kernel is compatible with every variant of galaxy nexus. most the kernels are compatible with all the variants.

Gapps constantly force closing

My phone seems to be having problems with gapps on any ROM I install and I'm wondering if it is just me. Here is what I get

}
Which comes after a quick pause in whatever I was doing before it popped up. As far as I can tell it happens at random every time

What Rom are you running?

Right now I'm on cm10 but it has done it on all roms from aokp jelly bomb and all of the twiz roms
Have you gone into recovery, cleared dalvik and cache, and then fixed permissions?
Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
Yes'm, several times
I would say wipe everything and uproot back to stock and then root again.
