Are there any task manager fix for sense 2.1?
the problem is when i press kill all and then refresh, its like nothing happened. the apps are still there.
In kimsmod ROM,right?

Wow, another uninformative answer from you.
And in regards to the actual question, its because the task manager was ported to wfs so it doesn't work like it should, not much we can do about it though, and you don't even need it because android 2.0 automatically kills apps when the screen is off.

Why is uninformative?and was not an answer,was a Question !i asked that because i use kimsmod ultimate and for me the task manager not working,and i asked this to know if for others working! And if 2 android kill itself app,why htc explorer have an built in task manager? (Wow,your answers are very good !)

This is an uninformative response !! It's about ANDROID VERSION,not SENSE VERSION.Both phones have android 2.3.5 !!

In sense 2.1 task manager doesnt work,,, nothing to blame those roms... the one in the latest stock rom doesnt work...

I'm using Robo's ROM v 3.0 data2ext..its a sense 2.2.1 Rom..runs very smooth..but my problem is that sense runs so many unwanted apps in background which takes up a lot of memory..if ur using sense roms wat APP KILLER or TASK MANAGER are u guys using.. recommend me ur fav one..coz there are so many of them I'm confused... Advanced Task Killer works fine by me
I use Go Launcher EX which has a built in task manager, but to be honest i rarely use it as Android deals with processes itself
Shouldn't use a TK as Android manages it's memory itself - it'll close apps when the memory is required

That is true that wat makes android a lot different from other OS.. but somtimes some apps and services run at background for no reason which takes up memory..I m due it has happened to all of us.

I used ATK on my standard fabric Sense ROM.
Now I have CM7 Nightly 32/38 almost and don't use ATK anymore.
Advanced Task Manager works fine for me...but i'm looking something better
I found an app called QUICK Exit from the market..n now I'm really liking it..didn't take up battery at all..n keeps ur sense fast n smooth..the developer has more advance apps in the market..but that's the one that worked for me do give ur thoughts if some1 try it in his phone

Hello everybody. I have an unrooted Desire Z with Gingerbread and Sense 2.1. Because of feeling noob, I am scared to root my Desire Z, but also I really want to use Sense 3.0 lock screen. Is there a way for me?

Not without rooting I'm afraid. I'm currently using virtuous 2.0 which is based off the official DZ GB release. With the sense 3.0 lockscreen and it rocks.

Any way you could link to a thread/post on how to get that lockscreen on ROMs other than Unity? I remember seeing bits and pieces of how but I cant search because I'm on my phone at the moment.

Doesn't that suck up a ton of memory?
You must root your phone. I recommend Virtuous Unity or Virtuous 2.0, both with the overclocked Unity B4 kernel. Good luck!

I am using the sense 3.0 lockscreen with Virtuous 2.0 as well. Whilst I dont play lots of 3d games etc I dont have any problems with memory.
It really does run well.
Running Sense 2 OR 3 requires, in my opinion, removing unneccesary apps with Titanium to free up space. I took out WiFi calling, the drm, the email and stock apps/widgets, and Facebook/Twitter.

I have rooted desire z with Virtuous Sense v2.0.0 and I would realy like to have sensation lockscreen (sense 3.0) on top of it. Because I can not find guide how to do this I would like to ask you how you did it.

I have installed that app and it works nice. but sometimes I have to unlock both lockscreens original one and agile. Is there any other way to replace the original one.
I was thinking about something like this:

Download "No Lock" from the market. It disables the stock lockscreen so you can use agile lock or any other lockscreen

No One Is Replying In Rom Thread
Its because tigger deleted many system apks which are required... I traced few of them.. But it takes time to do so...
U need to use wildchild sense... U wont face bugs... If U use nonsense sense roms like 2.0 or 3.3 I guess the best option is to accept these things....

I Tried Wild Child Sense And There Is No Album Cover Bug
Try changing lockscreen. Magic locker working on my wildchild 3.3 just perfect. Didn't c if was working with sense lock.

delete the main lockscreen something saying along the lines of htc lockscreen in the app list and link magic locker to sd. Reboot your phone and off you go. It does take a while after first boot up (3min or so) and you will see the sliding lockscreen at first but its the only one that has worked with no problems.

Only link2sd for internal memory space may work better unlinked as doesn't require sd card read but then u lose space 4 other apps.
It hangs sometimes... Screen becomes unresponsive and i've to remove and reinsert the battery... Any solutions?

I got many PM's asking me how I locked HTC Sense in memory in the latest Amazing Sense update and also got reports of it working to an extent very well...
SO HERE WE GO:
Your rom should have build.prop in /system/
OR
Use Root Explorer to navigate to the build.prop
-----------------------------------------------
After this edit it with a text editor( Notepad++ recommended ) and add this line at the bottom.

Save and reboot or adb push it...

Yes it worked. You saved my life... again. I used Root Explorer to edit the build.prop. the previous method I used earlier didin't work.

Hi! I got installed RSK rom on my desire. I hate that 3D effect in scrolling screen. It's not smooth for me and looks awful. Is there any chance to distable it or change to normal scrolling form ex. 2.1 sense?
