You can buy them from gameloft store via phone bill if you don't have credits card to buy them from GPlay

The best place to download apps and games is here. Support the developers!

Has the money to buy the device but doesn't have a single penny to buy a game? Lol

[Q] Japanese Offcial PLAY Games- Any way to get them?

I came across this page the other day,

There are a couple of games that look awesome like the Philosoma game. But it seems they are only photos and no direct links to the games. Anyone know of a way to get these games? Do I need to make my phone think its a japanese PLAY? And if so how would I go about doing that. I am on Verixion R800x.
I'm pretty sure there's a way, but really, do you want to learn Japanese to play them?
Its Sonic Advance. I dont think it would require a lot of knowledge in Japanese. I played games all the time with my friends in China where we played house of the dead (in an arcade) and they had no idea what the game was saying as they dont know english too well but they could still play the game.

Why not just use a GBA emulator?
Yeah I guess I could just use an emulater. I was really interested in a couple of other games that are not available in the US. The Sonic would be nice but it was definately not the one i was most intersted in trying.
Are they PS One games? If so there is a good chance you could use PSXperia to convert them from a cd image to be playable in the native emulator.
Other option if they are on the PS Store for Japan then you would need a japanease PSN account and if you don't have a credit card to be accepted by PSN Japan you could try buying pre-paid PSN card for Japan on ebay.
Hope it helps

No, Sonic is a GBA port, Devil May Cry 4 is the iOS version, the rest I believe are new mobile games
As far as i remember most of these games shown in the first post are psone, not to say all of them, try googling the name of games and they will pop up as psx .

There are many old school JRPG and other text heavy games in that list which never saw the light outside of Japan originally. I doubt they will translate them for us.

[Q] dungeon hunter 3?

Will they release an Android version of Dungeon Hunter 3? I recall reading somewhere (probably pocketgamer) that Gameloft said something about this being out by the end of January?
Or maybe I was just dreaming this...
i found this (see bottom):
http://blog.gameloft.com/index.php/2011/12/21/4311/
so it does say January but...
Thanks for that link, at least we've got something.
Perhaps they will have at least the decency to tell us that it's been cancelled or something. BTW I am one of those strange people who appreciate freemium games, so I had no problem enjoying the iOS version of this game.
Same, if it's free I wouldn't complain that much (I think)

Battlefield Bad Company 2 for tegra devices?

Hey guys..
So ok there's talk of battlefield 3 coming to tegra devices (god knows when) but what I'm after in the meantime is bad company 2.. Problem is I can't find it anywhere!! Its not in the market at all. I bought it for my Galaxy Tab 10.1 so I'm starting to wonder if its Arm only?
Has anyone got an apk and or sd data? I can download a million and one versions of the apk but none will download the data it just hangs there. I don't mind side loading it as I've already paid for the game once!!
Cheers

I had no idea about this.. I would love to have this as well. Though I'm still not done with BF3 it would be great to carry a BF game around..
Try to make a titanium backup of the app on the galaxy tab, and restore it on the N7. It might work. If you don't need saved games, just save the apk. (App Backup & Restore)
I have the same problem with many gameloft games. I bought it on my Nexus S, when I didn't even had a tablet to play it, when I'll have one, but they don't seem to be compatible. 9mm, Tintin, etc... I'll try this method later today. Download it on my NS, backup apk, restore on N7. We'll see. Gameloft has very bad game support, so my hopes are not that high :/
Warez Discussions
OK folks, let's not have any more discussions about distributing "Paid" apps and games.
You should all know the rules here on XDA about what is deemed "Warez". It's not to be tolerated, and can result in immediate infractions.
I'm not saying you didn't pay for the apps/games at one time. It's unfortunate that some things are incompatible with certain devices. This is an issue for the developers. Sometimes, a simple build.prop edit will enable more apps compatible.
But XDA does not condone discussion or distribution of paid apps or games. Period. Sorry, but those are the rules.

[Q] Transferring from iOS

So way before I bought any android device, I used iOS and bought quite a lot of expensive games and DLC's on it. Now that I have a Nexus 7, I want to enjoy those games on the big screen and with the better graphics and processing power. Unfortunately, this means paying another 20+ euro for things I've already bought. The majority of things I want to get are DLC's I've already bought back on iOS. I'm wondering if there is any way to basically transfer the appdata, save states and purchased apps to my android device.
I've already got to thinking if there was any way I could convert the game files to .apk so they might be installable on Android, but that probably won't work. Does anyone know how I could transfer the games files or save data to android from my old iPod? I have further details for anyone interested. The games and DLC's include things like the Valkyrie and Supernova DLC's for Galaxy on fire 2, Minecraft PE and Gangstar: Rio.
I really don't wanna pay for all of these again.

In one word : Impossible. You can ask app editor for a transfert, but cannot convert iOS apps to apk. iOS apps are precompilated, and ANdroid apps aren't if i'm not wrong.
Sorry but you will need to buy them again
I hope i helped you
Yeah you're sol on this one buddy. Can't be done.

That's not my point. My point is IOS files aren't compatible with Android os.

ok.....
to comment on the actual question, you can't hack IOS apps to work with android. and there are no emulators available.
as for the 'intent' voiced in this thread. distributing or using a paid for android app (even if you've bought it on IOS) is considered to be discussing or using warez. this is against our rules on XDA.
i've closed this thread due to the discussion of warez.
please don't discuss or ask for warez on XDA.

You can try paid games like nova 3, modern combat 4,5. Dungeon hunter is a good RPG,but its fantasy related.
Do not ask for hacks/cheats/patched content. Nor give such content out. Read the forum rules. Or get banned.
6. Do not post warez.
If a piece of software requires you to pay to use it, then pay for it. We do not accept warez nor do we permit any member to promote or describe ways in which Warez, cracks, serial codes or other means of avoiding payment, can be obtained. This is a site of developers, i.e. the sort of people who create such software. When you cheat a software developer, you cheat us as a community
