[Q] dungeon hunter 3? - Xperia Play Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Will they release an Android version of Dungeon Hunter 3? I recall reading somewhere (probably pocketgamer) that Gameloft said something about this being out by the end of January?
Or maybe I was just dreaming this...

i found this (see bottom):
http://blog.gameloft.com/index.php/2011/12/21/4311/
so it does say January but...

Thanks for that link, at least we've got something.
Perhaps they will have at least the decency to tell us that it's been cancelled or something. BTW I am one of those strange people who appreciate freemium games, so I had no problem enjoying the iOS version of this game.

Same, if it's free I wouldn't complain that much (I think)

[APP] Blood and Glory (Like Infinity Blade on iOS)

Search in Market, its free but pay to buy better weapons.
Blood and Glory (NR) - With Blood
Blood and Glory - No Blood
Thought ill tell you guys!
Needs to be known more this game
Downloading to have a look, cheers
Its awesome, tho a bit repetitive
Played it a bit last night, simple but fun game, although I'm sure the SGS2 can do much better graphics-wise
Allthough its a very nice game, it does have many bugs and most of them are pretty annoying (freeze, crash).
I think that's your phone.
never freezed, crashed with game.. Awesome game!
Good game.. graphics is pretty much equal to infinity blade which i like.. Phone heats up pretty fast.. but its okay..
The only setback is you have to pay for most weapon.. but its easily hackable

Pretty nice game, really !
No freezes, no crashes on my SGII.
Not really needed to have to buy weapons, it's possible witout... slowly to gain not so much money, but possible ! I'm actually in tournament number 5 (first of second row) with the Gladiator in attachment.
"Ave Caesar, Morituri te salutant !"
Any idea how to "cheat" the game? The prices they ask are just ridiculous - 100$ for a bunch of virtual money. And there isn't multiplayer option, so who'd pay that much to beat the A.I. ?
Yea I'm noob I know

Well I know, but I saw people discussing how to cheat the Defender game in another thread and they didn't get all banned, so decided to try my luck.
Anyway, found how to do it
I could only find how to do it on iOS...
I love glu games in general, but the ammount they charge for playing the game in its full possibilities is ridiculous. For instance, if you have a chance, grab Contract Killer: Zombies. A much more interesting game than the original Contract Killer. With unrated version too, like Blood and Glory. But in this game, you eventually get to a point where if you want to earn cash, you have to win some missions. But you can't win any missions with your lame weapons. So, a shame, I don't want to pay like $ 30.00 just to see whatever is in the next stage. If only the glu cash purchase were available in all their games (for instance, you buy 10,000 glu cash, you could spend it in Blood and Glory, and Gun Bros, and Contract Killer...), things could be more compelling and I would definitely buy some cash.
Well, couldn't find the hack by googleing it. If any of you guys could PM me and tell me how to do it, that would be nice.
If not, OK too. I will only keep refraining from playing glu games.
Yeah, hacks please!

[Q] Japanese Offcial PLAY Games- Any way to get them?

I came across this page the other day,

There are a couple of games that look awesome like the Philosoma game. But it seems they are only photos and no direct links to the games. Anyone know of a way to get these games? Do I need to make my phone think its a japanese PLAY? And if so how would I go about doing that. I am on Verixion R800x.
I'm pretty sure there's a way, but really, do you want to learn Japanese to play them?
Its Sonic Advance. I dont think it would require a lot of knowledge in Japanese. I played games all the time with my friends in China where we played house of the dead (in an arcade) and they had no idea what the game was saying as they dont know english too well but they could still play the game.

Why not just use a GBA emulator?
Yeah I guess I could just use an emulater. I was really interested in a couple of other games that are not available in the US. The Sonic would be nice but it was definately not the one i was most intersted in trying.
Are they PS One games? If so there is a good chance you could use PSXperia to convert them from a cd image to be playable in the native emulator.
Other option if they are on the PS Store for Japan then you would need a japanease PSN account and if you don't have a credit card to be accepted by PSN Japan you could try buying pre-paid PSN card for Japan on ebay.
Hope it helps

No, Sonic is a GBA port, Devil May Cry 4 is the iOS version, the rest I believe are new mobile games
As far as i remember most of these games shown in the first post are psone, not to say all of them, try googling the name of games and they will pop up as psx .

There are many old school JRPG and other text heavy games in that list which never saw the light outside of Japan originally. I doubt they will translate them for us.

Humble Indie Bundle for Android

Thought I would start a thread for anyone with an Epic 4G who has purchased the bundle or is considering purchasing it.
Information is at http://www.humblebundle.com/
Games are all DRM-free. You name your own price and choose how much of your money goes to the developers, how much to charity, and how much to the Humble Bundle website. If you donate at least $1, you'll also get Steam keys for your games. And if you donate more than the average amount, you'll receive a fourth bonus game (World of Goo).
The games are:
Anomaly Warzone Earth
EDGE
Osmos
World of Goo (bonus)
Posting again so I don't clog up the OP with this info. I've been having a problem installing these games. I've only been able to get EDGE installed. Concerned that it might be my filesystem. I'm running CleanGB 1.0.5, which apparently doesn't exist anymore (the most current version is now listed as 1.0.3). And I think I have whatever the new filesystem is (MTD? BML? I don't know which). That could be preventing these apps from installing, I don't know. Either way, I'm glad to have Steam keys so I can at least play these games on my computer at home, and I'll have to see if my Kindle Fire can play them too.
If anyone else has had issues installing any of these games, please post about it!
That wouldn't prevent anything

I think we have to wait for Gameloft to update the games for tegra 3
I had emailed them before and their response was rather disappointing. Why other games which was initially offered in low resolution 480x800 like NFS shift is ok with one x and theirs cannot, really pissed off by their marketing tactics here.
See below their response.
Dear Customer,
Thanks for contacting Gameloft's Customer Care.
I apologize for the trouble and difficulties you have encountered with the game you have purchased.
Unfortunately, your Android device is not supported. (HTC ONE X)
Our development team is constantly working to bring new games to all platforms. We do not currently have any specific information to share about release of games for your device.
Please do not try to download a game which is not for your specific phone model. Each game is built for one particular device. If your phone is not listed, it's no use trying to get another game build. It will not work and it is not meant to work.
Gameloft assumes no liability for purchaser error, trial versions, software purchased for the wrong telephone, device or platform for any reason ("Purchaser Errors").
You accept full responsibility for confirming that the phone or other device manufacturer, phone or other device model, and carrier are supported and that the phone or other device is compatible to the products or services purchased, downloaded or otherwise obtained by you through the Site.
We accept NO RETURNS on software downloads. Please read the system requirements very carefully before making any purchases.
Please accept our apologies for causing you any inconveniences.
Best wishes
*Of course it's only frustrating for people who bought the app last time. And to see some games working nicely with low res and high res adds more disappointments towards them(gameloft). Scaling is not bad, doesn't have to be with the native res of one x.

Wow what an awful reply from a developer. I suppose at least you got a reply unlike the author of jenga.
We live and learn, I also own that game, but now I won't purchase any more gameloft games if they are going to treat paying customers this way, they could have said sorry we will take a look etc, not go on about their refund policy and our responsibility to check.
Very poor form from them and a customer lost here now

No it's not a stupid question. But you did create yet another thread on Asphalt 6 when there's 1-2 others already.

Sorry about that ,didn't saw them.
Yeah i've tryed all day to make the Asphalt 6 run on my friends HOX because he had it bought on another phone and he tryed to put it in his actual HOX,but..no luck. There are many games that don't work on HOX because of the Tegra 3,let's hope the developers will update them.
As for NFS:Shift...i hate it,i don't like anything about that game, honestly,i think that it's the worst possible racing game out there.
