im so newbie in forum so i needed to write my question in here and not the right wanam rom sticky.
so i have same problems than other guys there: sms showings just those numbers and not the names than usual. and wanam itself write how to fix it but i dont understand what some words mean so here comes wanam answer: It's a known issue when your are using a different csc, you have to change your CSC, this will wipe your data.
so where to i change that CSC and what it is anyway??

I fixed it by doing a factory reset in recovery and then resinstall the rom.

I've changed the Rom from the French version to the Portuguese, but now the fixed keyboard QWERTY is totality mixed up, when I press the "a" it appears the "q", and others, because the original rom was in french and the keyboard for them is different. So, what can I do now, is it possible to change the letters in the keyboard opening the phone or what? Help please...

At this time there is not, but there is a way to get it working properly:
There is an easy way to fix it. You can do exactly as I did. Reflash the stock rom. Open a registry editor and export this folder
Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\KEYBD
Then flash the rom you want and import that folder and you will be good.

I did find the thread but no Finnish ROM 1.19.414.1 only a sms hotfix...
Unfortunately, you can't then.
how do i get a finnish rom then?
I am sure it exists, but I don't know where. I wish I could be of more help.
do i need to get a finnish friend to dum 1 for me? am i in a wrong track? dunno for sure what dumping a rom means..
I am sure you can dump a rom, but quite honestly, that is outside of the realm of anything I know or have done. I am sure if you post a new thread about dumping the rom, they can help you.

in the SMS application there is a delete icon, when I pressed it my WAVE restarted.
I think it is in String file too. but which one?

Custom or Original Firmware...
We have no idea if you have bada 1 or 2...
Also you could check how big your DB2 folder is...
Maybe Database is now too big... or failure...

it is bada 2 and it is custom firmware.
im sure the problem came from string files. but I dont know which one.
If you know what is the file, i'll glad if you will tell me.

I'd rather recommend looking for the developer of the firmware to fix his own bug
The fix is easy
Know original CSC....get strings of that CSC
Compare Strings from original CSC with Modded ones
Find the bug and fix it
Place back new strings files via CSC flashing
Done !
I won't do it as i don't know anything about your custom except its name

A little up here.
I got the same problem with Turko v6 for S8530.
One other strange thing is that I can't delete my e-mail "basket". But no restart.
I will investigate a bit and send something if I find something.
I set debug level to high and I succeeded in deleting the "e-mail basket".
I got blue screen when trying to deleting messages
Seven. I took photos of them as much as I could as I was obliged to go 2 pages by 2.
By the way how to upload the content ? I found that I must press Home button during blue screen but which program should I use after entiring in upload mode ?

Yes but I don't want. It is not that grave since I have SD card.

As for the Modem, I wouldn't try it, The I9300 has different hardware then the I747, so the modem hardware is not the same i figure.
for the Language, that i'm not sure about that one.
Just if you have S3 AT&T download please "MoreLocale2" from Market. It should enable all languages if they are stored in firmware. Please check!

May be you may change the language of system and menus, if it is stored in framework, but apps (most of native AT&T apps) will not be translated, simply because they was made only for US market. So any one did try MoreLocale?

I have a GN2 and i finally found a very good rom: [ROM][XXDME1][13 May][Jelly Bean 4.1.2]{~BoBCaTROM_SGN2_v9.0_MultiUI~}|OTA Update.
The problem is that i cant find how to change the csc.
In the rom explanation it said MultiCSC but i can't find the option for changing the csc.
And also the dialer codes does not work...
When i use the built in dialer code app and want to know the PDA/PHONE/CSC-Version supersu opens up, the only thing that works is to view my IMEI number.
So my question:
How or where can i change my CSC.
Or how to get the dialer code to work, so i can change csc tru those codes.
I hope you guys can help me.
