Hey guys,
Where is the FM radio app that came with the international version?!
Hi,
I find it in the apps drawer/ all apps page. Icon looks like a radio with a knob, no antenna.
Cheers!!
you can search within installed app in Google Search Bar also (you can set where it should search installed apps are default on). "FM ..."
If you have the Note N7105 LTE, it probably doesn't have an FM chip (according to the forum).
I've got the LTE Note 2, and I'm missing FM radio too

Hi,
My artemis trackball is not working well using FM Radio. I think I messed with the registry. Can somebody please export
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\FMRadio
entries to a .REG file and send me.
It just doesn't select predefined radios by tracking to up and down, but by tracking to left and right It does scan radios. Intrigating...
It happened when I tried to use Diamond FM Radio: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=427040
I've already uninstaled the Diamond FM Radio.
Does anybody knows another FM Radio tuner software? I mean with big buttons.
Thank you a lot.
A soft reset have just resolved this trouble. I'm still search for another FM Radio tunners apps.

I too am looking fro FM Radio Software but am not sure if this can be achieved without in-built FM detector hardware.
Help please...
I also need to know about the FM Radio.. Because i searched but i found nothing.. please Help us!!
as stated without the fm hardware only way to get fm is to get a headset which include fm
which would not be controlled or anything by the phone but by the headset itself

This problem is only in new multimedia panel (with radio) ...
radio broadcast japan tokyo
Hmm, i have a question, Im in japan now, and i want to listen to the radio with my x1. but because most of the radio programs only go as low as 89.7 mhz only, and most japanese radio stations are like 79mhz... how do i go about getting those radio stations?
I\'m using R3A X-Panel Mgr and I think it don\'t work on X2 Panel Manager.
First, Just Press X-Panel Button
Second, Execute setting
Third, Press the Radio Panel and you can see 2 button icon.
You just need to select the \'configuration\' button. Over there, you can see the appropriate Japan frequency Radio.
It works when I went to Okinawa last week. FYI, mine X1i with all original ROM, Panel Manager and of course panel Radio is still original.
But still no good for me as I can\'t speak Japanese.
Good luck,
Hi guys,
Just got my Note 2 (LTE: N7105, Singapore - Starhub). I was surprised to see that it was missing an official FM app. All specifications that I have read pointed out that N7105 has a radio hardware. Xda search revealed that many are facing this same issue. Probably pointing it out as Telco's strategy to force ppl to use data for streaming.
I tried to use the Spirit UL FM app with no success. It says it cannot tune [Error: No FM accessible ; SU:1 Fm:BC Su:0 Bt:1 Ht:0 Mo:BCU].
I want to know the real situation and your views,
(1) Does N7105 (LTE) have hardware for radio (FM)?
(2) If yes, will flashing a custom ROM (that has access to FM) help?
What might be the reason behind Samsung not providing a stock FM / not having the hardware?

Anyone?
My G4 is on its way.
I was wondering if anyone can confirm we can reenable the FM functionality with root?
Such as using the Spirit FM app?
Nobody? Need some help to verify this. Otherwise I have no reason to root..
come on guys, for anyone with a root G4 (At&t, Tmo or Vzn).... it is a quick check.
Spirit1 and Spirit2 say they're for AOSP roms only, so probably not. I'm not going to pay the $9 to find out.
Tried nextradio and it doesn't see the receiver. (Rooted US Tmobile) I believe I earlier possibly saw an item on a hidden menu that referred to the receiver, not sure if this could possibly turn the fm receiver chip back on.)
