[Q] M7 clock displaying wrong time - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

I was using the firefly M6 rom and was loving it, I decided to install the M7 update and did this by doing a clean install. After the install everything is working great except for my clock in the notification bar. I have my setting set to automatic date and time checked and automatic time zone checked. my clock on the lock screen and notification bar is 5hrs ahead of where it should be. If i uncheck the automatic date and time setting and manually set it, my clock that displays the weather on the home screen is then 5 hours off? How do I fix this?
Thanks

clock display glitch?

Hello, I recently installed htc home on my wm6 8525 (running At&t official wm6) and want to disable the clock that appears on the upper right corner of the phone while on the today screen. I used HTC Custom and under the "clock display" feature i enabled "none". Upon restart the clock gets disabled but part of my signal icon is also deleted so i see just half of the signal icon and a gap where the time used to be displayed at. Is this a glitch? or Is there another app available to try to disable the time? Thanks in advance.

Clock Not working

Hello all. I can't even set up an alarm. Clock says that : clock has stopped unexpedely all the time! i can only get it 1 time if i try like 100 times and , even i change my alarm tone, it remembers the first one i had chosen
I had this problem. I did a few things and it went away and been problem free for the last month. Try these:
- remove any widget you had with clock.
- from power menu untick fast boot.
- after above two restart phone and try the clock again.

Unable to toggle brightness using Elixir 2 widget

I just upgraded from the OPO to the OP3 and pretty much set up both devices exactly the same (in terms of apps/widgets etc). BOTH were stock (nothing done to either bootloaders). OPO was of course running the latest CM version and my OP3 is running stock OxygenOS. My issue is that when using the brightness toggle I have on my Elixir Widget, I get a "no permission to use this feature" prompt and it NEVER changes the brightness. I NEVER had this issue on the OPO. It would IMMEDIATELY change the brightness based on my preset levels (5, 15, 50, 90, 100%). I've checked and all permissions are enabled for all of the Elixir apps so I'm not sure why its not working. Its the only toggle I have that doesn't work. Not sure if this is a regular 'issue' on OxygenOS as I've only run CM on my OPO. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Here is a screenshot of the message
I believe I have found a fix for this. I was having the same problem.
I long pressed the brightness toggle in Elixir widget and selected open dialog. So that it would open up a slider.
I saved and returned to home screen them pressed the brightness toggle and a slider popped up with auto, 25% 50% 75% 100% toggle buttons.
I pressed the 25% and it force closed but opened instantly with a report or ok crash message.
I reported it to the dev.
I went back into elixir widget and changed the brightness toggle to an auto brightness toggle, saved and return to homescreen.
Pressed it and an Android permission screen came up asking about changing system settings, it was already activated but there was no ok button so I pressed back.
Returned to homescreen, pressed it again and it worked.
I then changed it back to a toggle between 25,75 and 50. Tested it and it worked. Back to normal.
I love this app. I was wounded when I thought it was broken.
I hope this helps you, I signed up just to reply to this. I found it when I was looking for an answer to the problem, before I luckily and hopefully fixed it.

You're the REAL MVP!!!! This worked! Thanks a ton!!!
Does anyone know if the System addon made by Elixir's developer works with systemless root? Would like the logcat part of the app to work... instead of crash.
Thanks JDMT, much appreciated. Not having any luck lately reaching the elixir developer, so I'm grateful for your response. Maybe he has a life or is working on a new project.
My solution was simpler but based on yours. My problem was in a 1x1 brightness toggle widget. I only got the permission error with no clues.
* Received the permission error with a 1x1 brightness toggle widget.
* Created a 5x1 widget, restoring data from a backed up widget that contained a brightness toggle. (Should work creating a new 2x1 widget, but can't test now?).
* After pressing the toggle in the new widget, the Android permission screen came up.
"Allow write system settings"
Flipped from "off " to "on."
* Now toggle in the 5x1 widget worked fine.
* Now toggle in the 1x1 widget worked.
Thanks!

Lock screen clock disappeared

I have good lock installed and haven't had any issues with it. Today in the morning I noticed my lock screen clock widget is gone. No idea why. I know I switched my Samsung theme yesterday but that was it. Switched back to default theme and same ****. Haven't touched any options in settings so no idea why it happened. I still get notifications in lock screen.
I even tried to disable lux but didn't do anything.. tried shutting down phone etc

Question Alarm clock issue

I have been having a weird issue with my alarm clock widget, Google ambient mode and slide down notification panel. In all three places the alarm clock shows an incorrect value. It displays as it will ring always 40 minutes past the current hour despite I have only one alarm clock set in the morning.
I have had the Global ROM which I have just flashed with European ROM but the issue is still there.
Are you using stock Clock app or a third party alarm app? Make sure battery optimization is set to "don't optimize" and that it has permission to use background data.

I am using a stock one. Perhaps I should add that along with the alarm clock issue I have had another weird issue that the Ebay app had been firing up every hour exactly 40 minutes past the hour - that issue has gone since I reinstalled the firmware.
Ok I figured that out. It turned out the issue was caused by a few tasker profiles. One profile was set to run every hour and the other was set to run every night 23.40. I have temporarily switched the profiles off and now the alarm clock shows the correct values. I am still not sure whether this is an OxygenOS Launcher or Tasker bug?
