Clock Not working - HTC One X

Hello all. I can't even set up an alarm. Clock says that : clock has stopped unexpedely all the time! i can only get it 1 time if i try like 100 times and , even i change my alarm tone, it remembers the first one i had chosen

I had this problem. I did a few things and it went away and been problem free for the last month. Try these:
- remove any widget you had with clock.
- from power menu untick fast boot.
- after above two restart phone and try the clock again.

Impossible to turn off alarm clock!!

Sometimes my alarm clock does not show any popup to turn it off!!!
The only way to turn the alarm of is then to turn of the phone!!
The same thing is with the calendar.
What's strange it looks like the phone is changing its mind according to it's mood and sometimes the popup shows on and sometimes it doesn't.
I've found this thread but on my HTC desire Z there is no such option:
SETTINGS/sounds&notifications/notifications.then in events scroll to reminders then tick the box for display message on screen tab
Click to collapse
Even if it was there, why would the phone behave differently without changing anything in the settings?
So anyone knows what to do?
It really makes me mad when it rings early in the morning and there is no f$#$$popup there.
Please help.
you may have to do a full restore
What do you mean? Would you be more specific?
ps. I've found many people have this problem (for ex. on Polish forum), no one knows what's the cause.
Just use alarm clock plus, it has nap setting if ur still sleepy long press for nap and minutes will pop-up very helpful for last minute haha

Kaloer Clock needs your help.

I use Kaloer Clock as my night clock and recently, as in starting last night, when I used the clock I noticed that any time i rotated the phone the vibrator would kick in.
When the orientation changed the vibrate would happen, this only happens if i set the phone on Vibrate mode using the menu in the pull down.
Can I ask that some of you help Mads (the developer) and see if it happens on any of your phones? I am pretty sure the clock is free (i cant remember. i've been using it for over a year)
In the clock settings, one thing I have set is that when the clock comes on I have Volume set to Mute Volume.

[Q] sense alarm clock

Does anyone know a way to set an alarm in the sense alarmclock without it repeating?
I just want to set alarms for tomorow not every Saturday
It's the only thing I really dislike about sense...
Really...?
It's easy: when setting an alarm you have some options:
- time....
-description: name the alarm
-alarm sound: choose a sound for the alarm
-repeat: choose at which days the alarms goes off. When no days are ticked it goes off only once.
-vibrate: makes the mobile vibrate as well when the alarm goes off
in your case you want to make sure no days are ticked in [repeat]

When setting up your alarm you do the following in this order:
1. Set time.
2. Set the description of the alarm.
3. Choose the alarm sound or/and vibrate if you want one or the other.
4. Choose the days of the week you would like the alarm to go off.
Hope I have been of some help!

[Q] M7 clock displaying wrong time

I was using the firefly M6 rom and was loving it, I decided to install the M7 update and did this by doing a clean install. After the install everything is working great except for my clock in the notification bar. I have my setting set to automatic date and time checked and automatic time zone checked. my clock on the lock screen and notification bar is 5hrs ahead of where it should be. If i uncheck the automatic date and time setting and manually set it, my clock that displays the weather on the home screen is then 5 hours off? How do I fix this?
Thanks

Question Alarm clock issue

I have been having a weird issue with my alarm clock widget, Google ambient mode and slide down notification panel. In all three places the alarm clock shows an incorrect value. It displays as it will ring always 40 minutes past the current hour despite I have only one alarm clock set in the morning.
I have had the Global ROM which I have just flashed with European ROM but the issue is still there.
Are you using stock Clock app or a third party alarm app? Make sure battery optimization is set to "don't optimize" and that it has permission to use background data.

I am using a stock one. Perhaps I should add that along with the alarm clock issue I have had another weird issue that the Ebay app had been firing up every hour exactly 40 minutes past the hour - that issue has gone since I reinstalled the firmware.
Ok I figured that out. It turned out the issue was caused by a few tasker profiles. One profile was set to run every hour and the other was set to run every night 23.40. I have temporarily switched the profiles off and now the alarm clock shows the correct values. I am still not sure whether this is an OxygenOS Launcher or Tasker bug?
