[Q] Lockscreen + pulldown menu

Hello all,
I have a HTC One X with stock rom 1.28.
When screen is off and you press the Power Button, then naturally the lockscreen appears to prevent accidently pushing,... etc.
But you can still pull down the top menu bar and go to settings, or press any notification (if present).
Anyone has that too?? Is it a bug?
That's a feature of ICS; AOSP/cm9 ROMs do the same, it's normal.
Oh really? I dont see much of "feature" in it
I think I like MIUI lockscreen more, but hey, we can't have everything i guess

ICS works a bit differently. All you need to do is to swipe the notification to the left (or to the right).
I find this a better method as you can just get rid of the notifications you don't want to see. Previously on GB, it was all or nothing. Either you had all the notifications or you could clear all of them.
Cheers!
i know about the swiping of the apps. its the notification on the taskbar i want to get rid of. the clear button is not there anymore to remove that notification.
x button is there?

you can swipe the notification left or right to remove it
or
just click the 'X' icon on the upper right of notification screen.

The Settings problem.

Dear friends,
for an unknown reason I cannot access my " Settings" whatever you call it from the below right hand corner of the screen as it used to be, it's no longer there. The only other option of getting the phone settings is from on top of the screen which I do not like. Thanks for your help.

In ICS Android no longer has the menu button. Instead, apps now use the action bar. Any overflow from said bar now displays as 3 dots, which include actions such as settings.
Apps that haven't been updated to the new API's will display the 3 dots next to the multi-task button.
However, some custom roms allow you to persistently add the menu button to the navigation bar.
So, the short answer to your question would be to flash a custom rom.
Better get used to hitting the 3 dots, as Google is intent on phasing out the menu button
If you install a custom rom you can add the menu as a soft key

Thanks but I have always had the Menu Bar since when I bought it and there is no software upgrade up till now.

Swipe down reveals settings directly

When I swipe down the notification menu from the top it directly shows the settingsbar. I really don't like that. On my N4 it took two swiped down.
The most stupid thing is that I can't swipe down notifcations (to see more info) when the settingsbar is still on the screen. When I swipe that up I can swipe down a notification..
Is there a way to change it?
Yeah, it's so annoying that I have to scroll up then down again to see notifications.
Someone fix this please!
Nova launcher or add a notifications button on the nav bar
Edit sorry the navbar works the same as stock
