They don't call. They just ask what SBX location you work at. Pick a SBX location on a map close to your billing zip and your golden. This has worked for many folks.

Too bad im on a family plan. Wasnt time for me to upgrade so i sold my s22 for 350 and paid 560 for a new Galaxy S3 (Good Price). So i ended up paying roughly 210 bucks. Not bad but not as good as this deal.

Well I'm on the phone with some lady and damn she wants my "work" phone then my "work" ID i guess they do verify.

I gave them the phone number of the Starbucks then I gave them my email and then she promoted me to agree to the 2 year contract crap and then after I said yes she then tells me OK great you now have the 15% discount and etc. it will take effect on my next bill so I guess ill update till tyen .

Lol same here. I told her I was new and didn't get my I'd yet. Apparently it worked because they said it would take affect next billing cycle (when I talked to a different rep). I told the first rep I would call back when I got my employee I'D.

Thinking of selling my note 2

Thinking of selling my unlocked note 2. Was obviously orig on att sgh-i317. I am wanting to sell it as an unlocked phone without all the ATT bloatware so if the buyer wants to throw it on tmo or whatever then they can without the att extras. Can I flash a 7105 stock firmware without issues or even unlocked do I really need the i317 firmware?

Load anything from this section and you'll be fine...
And when you sell it...please be "very" descriptive as to the current software it's running ...it's condition etcetera...
And the marketplace would be an excellent start point..

You can sell it with Jedi rom pre-installed for example. If the buyer says I'm from Tmo or I'm from Rogers you just run the aroma installer and select the carrier and have it input the correct APN.

I opted for going back to straight ATT stock since it is hard to go wrong that way. So everything shows official and OTA is back to working.
I will check out swappa... new to me so will see how it goes... have always been more of a craigslist type of guy.

Thats a very good option. I like Jedi anyways but I know some people like that 100% stock phone thing. Maybe just to see how it works Ill download the tmo odin file and flash it to see if it will run like normal with a tmo sim inside.

Swappa....is of course the XDA store front used by many here when selling or trading devices..
I personally like it...as I feel the users are honest for the most part ...as many share a brother/sisterhood with fellow XDA members ...
It also lends credit to a users reputation when offering good quality items at a good price..
Your choice of course ...but if I were buying tomorrow then swappa would be my first stop...
Craigslist does not have near the safety net swappa does ...and it can be a real crap shoot...
We have threads full of Craigslist buyers that got took...and I'll never buy there..

I ended up listing it on swappa too. I am just a fan on craigslist because I do not do anything but cash swaps. So meet in a public area and things have gone well. I would never ship or take any form of payment except cash from craigslist.
I am also not going far. I am selling my note 2 to hopefully cover most of the cost of a Nexus 5. Purchased a few Nexus 7's and decided I liked that standard android os enough to want to just have my phone run it natively.

The device is exactly as I described it... Which is perfect except one chip in the chrome by the headphone jack.
There are cheaper ones and more expensive ones listed. So mine might take a little bit to move but no great rush.... Or maybe I should just not include the 64gb sdcard and knock off $30 to make it more competitive with the other phones posted.

The T-Mobile version definitely comes in Gunmetal Gray - I think that will be the only color.

looking at HTC site it only shows one color. All the other carriers listed shows exactly what they are selling in stores and online. Safe to assume all we get is gray.

That's fine by me. I went to a Verizon store to get my hands on one. The Gunmetal is far superior IMO.

I hope Tmo eventually ends up getting the rumored upcoming Stealth Black version

was in my local tmo store and the guy told me that it will be only the grey and it will be very limited quantities. he said it shouldnt matter though becuase the s5 is coming out that day too. he even told me hey were opening at 8am that day.

I just tried and they wont secure one in any way, not my store at least. I can't miss work, I make almost $300 a day, that would double the price of my down payment. Guess I will just have to wait till after work, the guy at the store seemed to think everyone wants the s5, I have the s4 and I definitely don't want the s5.
Edit: I called another store and they said they would save one...... we'll see.

Yea I was kinda shocked when I found that out. Must be apart of there "un-carrier" movement.

Just called 5 local stores. None had info. But one lady said if I come in tomorrow I can pre order it. Will have it over knighted or one reserved for Friday. Will find out tomorrow.

Is the bootloader unlocked?

I'm about to buy one on CL, and have the option between ATT and tmobile, i'd want the one with the unlocked bootloader.

No all of them are locked unless you buy the developers version. You can get it unlocked using HTCDev however I think certain ones from carriers can't be unlocked.

I ordered mine(dev version) from htc/letstalk for 650 with no tax. Will be using it on tmo's $30 unlimited 4g plan. Hopefully will get it this friday.

i got a note 3 a month after release for 550 instead of paying for 750. it was basically brand new.

Yes. Craiglist is really risky. Try using checkesnfree.com.. If it says it's financed.. Stay away from it!

Does anyone know where to buy the HTC One M8 or really any other T-Mobile phones on contract? I am currently on a contract, but you can't renew it since T-Mobile stopped contracts completely, I really don't want to pay full price!

No you have to buy it outright unless you are on a plan that allows EIP which classic plans do not have.

Having just received mine, yes that is the case. And yes, the bootloader is unlockable through HTCDev.

S6 Edge Platinum Gold waiting room!

Just order a replacement for my black s6 Edge because of some light scratches on the screen which I decided was unacceptable and spoke with customer service so they are gonna overnight a new one but I requested a 64GB platinum gold instead. That being said the gold is on back order with a 10 to 14 day estimate. Has anyone order a 64GB platinum gold and received it yet or tracking info?

Ordered mine the day it was avilable about 7am EST and still no movement. Hope to get it b4 the 10th because I'll be out of town

Well we preordered and they are the ones with the phone backordered i did get the 1 day shipping but I'm still wondering if I will have it before the 12th I don't want to miss out on the $100 from netflix wonder if tmobile will be able to honor this anyway
