I don't want use an app, because use ram, cpu and stress the battery
thanks
p.s. I've already on the status bar the battery level, but I'd like have a bigger image on lockscreen

I wanted to try out the app and it's really cool what it can do and how it looks but it drained my battery from 100% to 70% in two hours and I wasn't even touching the phone. It was just sitting on my desk.

I've been using the program for quite some time and have not seen a noticeable drop in battery life (had around a day before I installed, still around that much after). Probably depends on what widgets you place on your lockscreen/your usage? I only have mClock and a series of unread count widgets, so little to no extra data usage or monitoring (i.e., battery drainers) than normal...
k I will try it out... and test the battery life of my phone
EDIT:
It does what I want it to do, but I don't know how to turn off the default lockscreen.
Like, the widgetlocker lockscreen is perfect, but everytime i slide a slider, it takes me back to the default one...
And when i reboot the phone, it takes me to the default one...
And also I can't seem to find an option that forces you to input a pin...
Try goin into advanced in the WL menu n then check root bypass of 5 second rule that might help

In the settings, under buttons & inputs, if you enable Easy Wake Mode, it'll disable the stock lockscreen (supposed to be the equivalent of using the No Lock app).
Under behavior, select appear on boot. You will also need to either set up the HomeHelper launcher or the root bypass as mentioned before (also be sure retain system keyguard isn't selected under advanced).
As far as using a pattern/pin/password, you will still need to set that up under your normal security settings (so you slide to unlock WidgetLocker first and then see the security input screen). Depending on what type of security and what ROM you use though, you might still see the stock lockscreen first though (basically is you use a non-Sense ROM with pin or password security).

LOL... nice!
is there any way to display battery percentage on lockscreen
like for example when u wake up the phone from sleep it will show the battery percentage on the home screen , or toast notification
and a voice to remind if the battery is very low to charge...
like a ringtone perhaps??
Anyone know if this is possible??

At the moment... No....
Not on a stock ROM. You could maybe do soemthing fancy with a background process and a toast, but currently the best option is the Battery Meter app (which can show on the Start screen, but not the Lock screen).
Also, this thread probably belongs in the Q&A forum.

Does anyone know of a way to use the volume buttons to wake the phone using stock 4.04. I've tried the AOKP rom that includes this feature but the battery life for this rom was not as good as stock 4.04. Any suggestions?

Widget Locker has this option. It also puts widgets on your lock screen, so double win.

Have you noticed any extra battery drain with this lock screen. Saw a couple reviews saying it caused their phone to use more power while in standby.
Hi,
As I use a PIN to unlock my phone, I'd like to remove the ring lock screen.
I know how to do it in CM7 but can't find it under ICS...
I'm on Leedroid ROM.
Thank you.
You can't without replacing the lockscreen for an alternative
Hasn't LeeDroid tweaks got an option to replace the HTC lockscreen with the standard ICS one?

any luck?
Even I am annoyed with the round unlock screen.. is there any way to change it to stock ICS (or anything else) ? I am currently on the untouched Stock HTC OneX ICS
Anyways for this?
I'm fairly sure the lock screen is unchangeable on the stock ROM, custom ROM's there is usually an option to use one of the many ICS lock screens and in some cases lock screens from previous versions of Android. As for LeeDroid I'm not too sure as I have never used it, but in other ROM's the setting is usually found inside the ROM Control or ROM settings inside the settings menu.

What custom ROM's are you talking about that have options for the lock screen?
I know that the MIUI ROM uses a different lock screen, and if you don't want to use the entire ROM, you can use the MIUI Launcher app to add it to any ROM.
I too would like to simply disable or remove it somehow if at all possible.
Here is an efficient and good looking non-root alternative

I know there is a thread of this rom in developmente area, but i can not write there, so sorry for open this thread.
I installed this ROM yesterday and it's awesome, I really like all the customization options but I have a little question, is it possible to enable the transparent status bar in the lock screen?
Got it in the home screen but not in the lock screen, I can't find the option :silly: . Thanks!
The commit that I merged for transparenct bars does not do anything to the lock screen. This is useful because it allows a small amount of transparency, while maintaining decent performance.
But if you want to enable full transparency (including on the lockscreen) you can try changing "ro.config.low_ram=true" to "ro.config.low_ram=false" in the build prop. If this does work it will probably reduce performance greatly, so be aware of that and dont complain if it does.

Thanks for your answer. I won't change anything because it's only an aesthetic point. I'll look for other way.
