Native task manager for JB - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Hi All,
I just flashed CM10 to my S3 and I'm really loving this ROM. When I was stock if I did a long press of the home screen it would bring up a list of recent apps and then an option to close all. Now I have to close them one by one. Is there an option to close all that I'm not seeing. Also how to I free up RAM like I used to on stock ICS?
Thanks,
Jack

I am curious about this too.

ES task manager from the market works fairly well.

So that's the cause!!!! I was wondering why I kept getting black screen everytime I went into XDA app. It works for most part, but the only way to get it out of black screen is to hold power (until the menu pops up), then press back to close the menu.
dang sucks i really wanna use it launcher pro is ok but i was really in love with the new TW guess i gotta find a rom that fully supports it or is it not working all together anyone have no or minimal issues with it??????
Don't you have to be on one of the gingerbread leaks. I am currently use the anonymous rom v5 and it works great. I played around with it is buggy. But the home screen and the app screen works. I still preferred launcher pro because I think touch wiz sucks. I have it on my phone just for my Iphone friends.
i didnt kno it had to be a gingerbread leak cause it flashed fine and works kinda on 2.2 but i think ur right ill try later cause for now the 2.3 roms are a tad bit buggy for me

Sluggish/ Choppy ROM

I am currently using Freegsm r6 with trinity 46G kernel on my Galaxy s3 tmobile. I've been using using the rom for my daily for about a month now. I feel the rom is running a little choppy and sluggish. say if I were in an app or even my messages, I click the home button and it'll take me to my home screen. on my homescreen, I have the weather and Google search widget. 4 out of 5 times when I press my home button, my two widgets act like they are refreshing--like they are loading up. i don't have alot of things running and i even close out tasks and tried it.. even OC'ed to 1700Mhz, it does that. also, messages and email freezes quite a bit and crashes. Is there a solution for this? my searches aren't giving me any answers.
Stock rom has redraw issues going into home screen too.

thanks for the vocabulary. I see you're on the freegsm R6 with the trinity kernel as well. are you having the same that redraw issue?
Every stock based rom i use has that issue.
Using Nova Launcher always seemed to minimize launcher redraws for me. I also use Holo Launcher which has an option to keep the launcher in memory.

[REQ] Touchwiz Dialler, Task Manager

Hello, I own a Samsung Galaxy SIII (rooted) with the Cyanogen Mod. I was wondering if anyone made or could make the Touchwiz Dialer and Task Manager flashable zip files? The Cyanogen works brilliantly but I miss the Touchwiz Dialer where one could swipe left or right to call or sms, and the Task Manager, which apart from having the recent apps, had a VERY useful remove all button to clear everything out.
thanks.

Try exdialer... it has the same swipe to call and message feature and is loads faster than the standard dialer...
Hope I helped..

I don't know if this is what you're looking for...it's the task manager app supplied on Samsung stock ROMs...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1877126
You can also download the stock shortcut widget from the play store....just search for "S3 task manager shortcut"....
Edit....it's NOT what you're looking for....but it does give you a standalone task manager, which is something that (apart from long pressing the home button) seems to be lacking in most custom roms ...

Google AOSP Recent Apps

Hi guys,
I'm running EclipticONE Sense 5.5/4.4 KitKat and I was wondering if there was a way to get AOSP recent apps with a kill all function? Would that be a system thing or is there an APK for this?
Thanks in advance!

Sense Toolbox and an AOSP recent apps option, but I don't think it has the kill all option for the AOSP recent apps. You might look through gravity box for that. Most of the features in GB work on sense tons. I've had the option working previously.
Edit: The clear all option for AOSP recent apps is under miscellaneous tweaks in Gravity Box. You can use a combo of Sense Toolbox and GB to get what you're looking for.

I installed Xposed, and Sense Toolbox and it gave me a kill all option with pinch and swipe down. This is awesome because I like the way Sense UI has the recent apps laid out - but now I have a kill all option. Thanks a lot!
Edit: I also read about Gravity box that it doesn't play with with ROMs that are based off of manufacturer UI (Sense, Touch) and is only intended for AOSP experience ROMs like CM11.

Ya, it says it's for vanilla android ROMs, but many of the features still work. I'm using it for pie controls right now. Anyways, glad you found what you were looking for. The swipe down is very convenient!

Actually I found a way to have aosp recents. AND HTC at the same time accessible... No modding or anything needed.... Download quick shortcut maker from play store, go to activities, click on system ui, click on recent apps.. it will create a shortcut on your home screen to Google/ aosp recents, yet you'll STILL have HTC Style as default
