Hi sorry for the noob question, I might get my phone in the LTE version, is it possible to flash those roms in the dev section with it?
The rom has to be built for your phone. For instance you cannot flash a 7100 rom on a 7105. If they match youre good to go, if not the answer to your question is no.
Youd need to first determine your model number then you can figure out which roms will work for you
Oh great. thanks!

i just got T-mobile..... and got the touch pro 2... since tmobile is gsm, which roms can i flash ..........and which rom is considered greater( ya know...all the bells and whistles)
ive already unlocked it... dont know if i have to change the radio rom yet... but i am unsure which roms are for cdma and which are for gsm.
can someone help please..
and...
is there anything else i should do before flashing the new rom.
There is no easy answer, each rom is different and meets the needs of different users, look at the descriptions, usually in the first post, and see which rom looks like it will fit your needs. Sorry not clearer, but that is the best I can do
hey skipper... its not really the rom im concerned with... im more concerned on is there any difference on flashing these roms with a gsm phone or cdma phone..

Your question has already been answered, there are threads here that are for noobs with flashing. READ THOSE THREADS.
Do not be lazy, your answers are out there.
Yes there is a difference in roms for cdma and gsm. Look under the thread for your device, then choose which kind you have (gsm or cdma), and look at the different roms
The 9.1 Timor Rom is pretty good if you don't have the need for Live Mail. It's been removed in that rom.
Is t0lte the code name for the AT&T Note II i317?
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/T0lte_Info
Is this the correct ROM for the AT&T i317?
I apologize if this has been answered. I have found iffy answers on The Googly Machine but want something concrete before I flash. I would hate to brick my phone over something to trivial.
EDIT:
I think I found my answer.

Sorry to start a new thread prematurely.
Forgive me but i cant seem to find the solution to my problem and i search every forums but i have no luck. Ill try to be detailed as possible
Samsung Note 2 GT N7105

Ok, so i rooted my phone a few days ago, I am from the Philippines by the way and using a local carrier Globe. The phone has an Orange Carrier logo when i turned it on. Any way so i follow the instruction for rooting the phone and it was successful and works like a charm. But then i want to change it to JB 4.2.2 using the lates CM. I use goomanager and TWRP to be able to change it to the latest CM 10.2 i was able to change it without any problems but then i cant seem to receive 3G and LTE or 4G on my device. I manually change the APN information of my carrier to make sure it is correct but then i failed. i am still not able to get LTE. I have read some threads that it might be the radio or modem. But i am new to this, forgive my ignorance but i dont know what i need to look for. If there are some one who can point me in the correct direction i really appreciate it. or if there is something im doing wrong kindly help me straight this one out. A guide is much appreciated.
did you download the proper CM for your device?

Probably need to download a new compatible modem
Edan1979 i used the latest CM t0lte
Nedster1972 thats what i thought i just dont know how to do it, maybe can u help me point to correct thread. or guide.
do you back up your imei before change ROM?
I am not one to post these questions since I rather look around and try to find the answer (which I learn a lot in the process) BUT I have been looking and cant seem to find a LP that is for T-Mobile that has WIFI calling. For that matter, I cannot seem to find a 4.4.4 or 4.4.2 ROM that I can install using TWRP for this SGH-I747. Any "Pointing Fingers in the right Direction" would be much appreciated.
@DocHoliday77 Just wondering, but would you know the answer to the question above? Thanks!
I found this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development-i9305/rom-amcha-rom-kk-simply-cust-t2898961 for s3 AT&T version I9305 . can someone please help me install this on my s3 T-Mobile T999 version. I am interested in it because it has ultra power saving mode
This is pretty basic, but I can't find a answer anywhere, I'm sure I'm just not searching it right, but anyway I bought a rooted SGH-I317 with t-mobile as my carrier, with Android 4.1.2, on Clean ROM 3.3. I've done a cwm back up, but when I pick a new ROM will I choose a t-mobile version ROM since I'm on their network or a SGH-I317 ROM? And thnx in advance for any help you can give

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
Please wait while I connect your question to this forum (where your device experts can be found):
> AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II > AT&T Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Note that to respond to replies, you will need to create an XDA account.
Also, I am confident that flashing a T-Mobile ROM on an AT&T device (since the model numbers are quite different) will have dire consequences.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
Hello I sent that question last night before I made a account here so I'm putting a name with this question so if you can help, and maybe even offer up some suggestions of which ROMS run cross platforms it would be greatly appreciated. Thnx again
You can use ROMs for T889 (T-Mobile), I317 (ATT), or N7105 (international?) do NOT flash a ROM if it has a modem with it that isn't what your specific device is (I317). Majority of the ROMs already have the modems stripped out so they can be universal for the three devices just read the details of the thread by the poster of the ROM.
Thnx for your help! I read in another post that if you install a new ROM with a updated boot loader you can't revert back, that won't affect me re-installing my cwm back up if I were to flash either dn4, cyanide, resurrection remix and something went wrong? I currently have I317ucalJ2 boot loader. Once again thnx for anyone's help they can offer me.
