On stock rom stk was working fine, but after using 13 different custom roms i have came to only one conclusion that no custom rom can complete processing of stk.
Can anyone help me with this?
I have used cm 7.1, 7.2, 9, 10 and even custom stock roms

Download your Stock ROM for your Gio model.
Open the the file you just download with 7zip
Extract csc.rfs to somewhere, like your Desktop
Extract csc.rfs to somewhere using 7zip
Extract the attachment below to somewhere
Copy the extracted system folder from csc.rfs to the csc_flashable directory
zip csc_flashable and flash it.
Try stk...
Thanks man i will try it.
Lov ya...

anyone can make camera n bluetooth works on maclaw's cm10 beta 2 by replacing erikas cm10 file ? needa help
Sent from my GT-S5660 using xda app-developers app
extract maclaws rom.zip and cm10 jellaxy.zip
replace /system/app/ : camera.apk and bluetooth.apk from jellaxy to maclaws
/system/lib: use CTRL+f in windows in jellaxy's . search for ''bluetooth''. copy any file found in /system/lib to maclaw's rom. now do CTRL+F(seatch) again, and type in ''camera''. now copy all libs that have ''camera'' in their name to maclaws /system/lib.
use 7-zip or winrar to make a zip of the 3 folders/files, META-INF, system, boot.img
flash it, on your own risk.

solve with "erickas version", I suppose.
it may be quite easy, if its kernel related
use maclaws kernel and see if it fixes.
if not, you wont be able to fix it yourself.
what you should do;
copy-paste boot.img from maclaws rom.zip inside erickas rom.zip (use 7zip or winrar)
or
use for example a kernel flash zip (px kernel, cf root, u235) and extract it.(7zip or winrar). delete the boot.img you just extracted, and paste maclaws boot.img.
now zip it again.

hi guys,
Is there a way to extract 2 files out of a samfirmware stock rom?
I need the framework-res.apk and the camera.apk
I want to see if I am able to change the setting in the app the denies the camera option when battery is below 15%. I want to change it to 5%.
Besides that, I have had no other reason to switch to a custom rom so if can fix this, I can use my stock rom again.
or, if someone is willing to help me with this... I can deliver a link of the stock rom zip...

Sent from my Zapped SGH-T989 using Supercharged Slim Bean
Yup. Must be on a touchwiz-based ROM. Many exist just search the Development section, and if you flash a tw rom and it does not have this, you should be able to find the apk or a flashable zip for this application. Please do some searching
How do I post the Apk file here so you can download it

Download my ROM... its included extract it with root explorer .apk put it on your sdcard then attach the file or use the paperclip to attach the .apk
IDK if that will really help you though... just not sure if it will work on jb but give it a try
I was messing around with my phone n I accidently deleted all my files inside: "/system/media/audio/ui/" if you can direct me to a link where I can download all the jb 4.1.1 files within "audio/" would be much appreciated.

extract using 7zip
7zip don't work even if we change extension of those .md5 files.
You may have to deodex your rooted stock rom to work for custom rom....
Check my signature guide is there.
