anyone can make camera n bluetooth works on maclaw's cm10 beta 2 by replacing erikas cm10 file ? needa help
Sent from my GT-S5660 using xda app-developers app
extract maclaws rom.zip and cm10 jellaxy.zip
replace /system/app/ : camera.apk and bluetooth.apk from jellaxy to maclaws
/system/lib: use CTRL+f in windows in jellaxy's . search for ''bluetooth''. copy any file found in /system/lib to maclaw's rom. now do CTRL+F(seatch) again, and type in ''camera''. now copy all libs that have ''camera'' in their name to maclaws /system/lib.
use 7-zip or winrar to make a zip of the 3 folders/files, META-INF, system, boot.img
flash it, on your own risk.

solve with "erickas version", I suppose.
it may be quite easy, if its kernel related
use maclaws kernel and see if it fixes.
if not, you wont be able to fix it yourself.
what you should do;
copy-paste boot.img from maclaws rom.zip inside erickas rom.zip (use 7zip or winrar)
or
use for example a kernel flash zip (px kernel, cf root, u235) and extract it.(7zip or winrar). delete the boot.img you just extracted, and paste maclaws boot.img.
now zip it again.

Try redownloading the apk. I think it happens if the apk is not completely downloaded.

You can't just install those files like normal apk's. Push them to system. Make sure those are correct files otherwise it would result in either a bootloop or force close galore.

Hi, i have problem with compiling GB framework-res.apk. Im using APK Multi Tool 1.0.6 and i decompile and compile stock framework without any problem's and i dont change anythink just to test. But rom allways got bootloop. I change compression to 0, didnt help. Stock framework have 9.5MB , and signed (with no changes, compressio 0) has 6.6MB. I allways remove resources.arsc from keep folder then continue. Any solution ? :/ i can't solve this problem, i rly dont touch anythink inside framework.
System apks such as framework should be signed. Apk tool compiles unsigned apks. You have to sign it manually.

What commands did you use? If I am not mistaken, framework had some other ones to be used.

Im using clean framework from .62 rom. I only decompile and compile without change's and i allways get bootloop.
Maybe i should use older version apkmanager and replace it on apk multi tool ?
o change apktool to 1.4.3,1.4.5,1.4.9 = allways bootloop, allways diference size of file

Extract the resources.arsc from the compiled framework-res then add it back using store as the compression method.

When i was using the Phiexz 's latest CM 7.2 then my Gio would lock onto satellites in like 3 - 7 seconds, but now when i am using the Aurora ROM, it takes ages. Is there a fix for that? Can someone who is using CM 7.2 Latest by Phiexz maybe upload the gps.conf file.
With best.

just search for fastergps in play market and install that. you can change your gfs.conf easily.
Did that already. No results. Tested it outside.

If it isn't related with other system files, just try to edit gps.conf manually. You're going to change only the region codes you know.

Simply use this tutorial here
@Jyrx any solution to the problem?
I use this:
http://db.tt/0E8RoqZh (gps.conf)
http://db.tt/ljfYQ5aI (suplrootcert)
Place both files in system/etc set permission to
Rw
R
R
Just change the country and region in the gps.conf to yours.

Mr. Peteragent5 if i want to use stk in custom rom what should o do?
Sent from my GT-S5660 using xda app-developers app
Download your Stock ROM for your Gio model.
Open the the file you just download with 7zip
Extract csc.rfs to somewhere, like your Desktop
Extract csc.rfs to somewhere using 7zip
Extract the attachment below to somewhere
Copy the extracted system folder from csc.rfs to the csc_flashable directory
zip csc_flashable and flash it.
Try stk...
Thanks man i will try it.

Not function when you want to wake up by "Hi galaxy"
Download link adf. ly/LmLfL
At least you need system libs, they are part of S-Voice app.
As like as S-Voice from S3, there are some libs added to make all function work (attachment)

minimum requirement is running Android 4.1.1 or above.
can't run on ICS.
