Trying to get into DM Mode (##3424#) Dialer Code on the new leaked ICS 4.04 ROM, and can't get it!
Need to get a port assigned, so I can do a few things with QPST.
Any help with detailed instructions from a DEV, or anybody will be truly appreciated.
I almost never start threads here, but this really has me stumped, and I like the new leaked rom a lot. Don't want to have to keep flashing back to older builds to get connected to QPST. I have a few things to do with the power of Qualcomm, and it's more comprehensive QXDM!
Thanks for any help.
Diagnostics mode may be changed. In most ROMS I use it's *#*#TALK#*#* or *#*#8255#*#* , so try those and see if those work.

Hi all, can someone please provide an update guide for stock from and custom rooms please and where to download. I know the information is within different threads but I get slightly confused with the process to take.
At present my nexus prime has volume issues, turns off sometimes and when turning on airplane mode then off no network signal.
Thank you in advance.

http://code.google.com/intl/de/android/nexus/images.html you checked this webpage?
But attention, manual update makes an full wipe, so backup your settings!
If you're having all of those issues, I wouldn't back up settings. Just let it wipe everything.
install one of the 4.0.3 roms like Android Open Kang Project (AOKP), Revolution HD, Eagles Blood, etc. etc.
then install one of the radios like XXKK6 (seems to be a safe bet for most users)
Could you provide a guide to do the updates for stock and custom rooms including what tool to use as I am getting confused with the process.
Thank you

Hey guys .... I wanted to get some help on my current situation...I'm currently flashed over to metro PCs running the goodness fh13 Rom on my E4GT phone everything works for me even mms ... Best Rom out there in my OPINION...Any ways I successfully flashed the AOKP jb Rom and cm10 the other day with no brick issues etc. In doing so I lost my 3g service ...couldn't figure out how to get to work on jelly bean ROMS. IF someone can enlighten/help me on what I did wrong ,or have a fix, or if these ROMS AREN'T COMPATIBLE WITH my kind of service I would be very thankful...Thanks for reading
If you search no data on cm10 I started a thread if you flash the alternative carrier fix that will take care of your data if you have any issues with MMS oak. has made a zip to flash that will take care of that for you in dev thread if you need help feel free to ask

Hello all. i have used the search function but have not been able to find a definitive answer to what im trying to achieve. i have been through so many ROMS ICS and JB of course JB being my favorite but most of them have bugs that i just dont have time to deal with such as speaker/gps problems and other minor issues. I am currently running cm10 wild for the night JB rom, and i would like to go to gb27 stock w/root doesnt have to be official either... i just want everything to work with minimal work. i have seen alot of conflicting instructions so i was hoping someone could point me to a thread containing this info in detail along with files. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Well the obvious method, and the simplest would be to use the stock rooted one click to flash in the prerooted software. It will flash in all needed partitions in one swoop. Seeing as only JB modems work on stock TW based Roms. Hope this is what you are asking. I just used this method my self

About a month ago I had a Samsung Galaxy SIII Model # SPH-L710. I had little to no problem flashing a custom rom onto it by rooting the phone, installing TWRP, and installing the zip file from the Cyanogenmod Website. Very simple and painless. That phone however ended up breaking so I had to get a new one of the exact same model.
Now, I've been having a world of trouble with this one. To start when I tried to flash the ZIP file in TWRP, it would give me a status 7 error, I was able to remove that by updating my md4 baseband using the md4 baseband flashable zip which was mentioned in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2303308
Once I did that the status 7 error went away, but now it's saying it cannot find the md5 file regardless of what custom rom I'm trying to install, it does say the install was successful, but all the log shows is that it couldn't find md5 file and then Successfully created partition tables and when rebooting the phone it gets stuck on the splash screen (though it IS the splash screen of the custom rom I was trying to install).
When trying to use CWM it says that it cannot even mount the SD card to install and ZIP file so I could not go very far with it and besides, the last time I did this I used TWRP just fine.
Any insight would be great.
Thank you!

Is this a new device? If it is please reference this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44262749
Have a great day!
Also being a new device you will only be able to flash TW roms until there is a work around for the current block...which i do believe devs are working on as we speak. Good Luck.

TW roms? You mean Touchwiz? If so, I've tried Googling and can't seem to find a solid answer or source of what's stable, what I can use with the Sprint S3 and so on .

Tried all 4 provided .imgs without no success and tried the odin versions which gave me the same results. Seems like this has to do with it just being a new phone. I am able to gain root access, mount storage devices in twrp (but not CWM) but just can't seem to install CM nightly or stable. Just says its updating partition settings and thats it. Also says the same thing with AOKP roms.
CM and AOKP are all aosp style roms. They at this time will not work on a new S3.
Like stated only TouchWiz roms will work. There are literally dozens of them. Googling won't help as much as going directly to the forum for Sprint S3 d2spr development section here on XDA. Do not attempt to flash any rom TW or AOSP if you did not get it from that specific section on XDA you risk turning your device into a 600$ paperweight.
Have a great day!
I hope someone can help me. I have the boost mobile version of the galaxy s3 L710 and I was told I can only use sprint custom roms to flash on my device but when I do they don't seen to work properly. Data ect. I again was told I need to make some changes to my device and I can't seem to find out what these changes are. Any help?

#1 rule on XDA search. Search is your friend. You can search in a general forum or in a specific forum.

Thanks for the info I will surely try one out once I have the time(sometime tonight)
From what I'm reading there are no TW mods based off of 4.2.2? And I'm assuming that to get an aosp style rom to work will just be a matter of waiting on the devs? Thanks again
cm 10.2

THANK YOU! Latest Nightly worked and I'm back in action!
So originally I posted this thread because I was stuck in a recovery limbo. Flashing rom wouldn't work, restoring wouldn't work.
But thanks to the assistance of a few users I found out that the recovery and nightly I was using needed to be updated. Finally flashed CM11 KitKat. Not impressed... Had hoped to be able to print and screen record (features boasted among the official Release feature additons). But right now Im greatly disappointed actually. There seems to be a lot of features (printing, screen recording, and standard Samsung apps/features) either missing, unavailable through CM11 or just not yet available through CM11.
Either way at this point I just need to unroot to OTA, or flash a Jelly Bean stock rom. So thats why I retitled the topic of this thread.
Any searches for original stock roms results in mirrors or links for foreign links, and foreign roms.
Does anyone know of a Jelly Bean stock rom for the Galaxy 8 N5110 for the USA?
I'd prefer to flash using Odin too...
WOuld anyone be able to spare a moment to help me out with this?
