Hello
So i wiped my dalvik cache and when i rebooted the following happened:
1. My XP games launcher disappeared and stopped working.
2. My Play Store cant connect to the internet while other apps can.
Does anyone know why and if there is a fix?

You've wiped dalvik cache that was why. You weren't supposed to if you were still using the rom as a particular driver. No fix whats done is done. Did you make a recovery? I'd suggest you go back to a earlier time.

Hello,
After flashing my HTC desire HD with cyanogen 7.0 on the first boot the android market started to download all my apps ! but each time the error pop : 'unsucceful donwload, please try again' (in french :'echec de téléchargement; veuillez réessayer') and it did this for all my 52 apps. I asked google but it is always the same topic old of one year in march 2010 about the bug that android was experiencing with the market. finaly the most interesting part of all this is that i am able to install some apps by using the web android market. it send immediatly the dowload on my device and the install is succesful.
I tried wipe my sd card but i had the DHD sd card issue (solved). And i Tried a data wipe and hard reset using recovery mod but it's unsuccesful !
Could somebody help me please i am quite lost.
Sincerely,
Austriker
PS: i used visionary to permroot my htc

I tried to reinstall google apps by downloading on http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=Latest_Version#Google_Apps and flashing it in recovery mod . (hard reset, cache wipe and install from a zip). unsuccesful.
And i tried by installing the android market apk found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=877330 . unsuccesful.
Try clearing market cache (menu, settings, applications, manage applications, all, market, force stop, clear data/cache.
Then reboot into cwm recovery and clear the dalvik cache.
Reboot, will take a while, but don't worry.
Then try market again.

Unsuccesful too ...
Do you have a firewall such as droidwall? If so, make sure downloads (i think) has permission through WiFi or 3g of droidwall.
Also, do you have the same problem when using WiFi and 3g?

I have no firewall. i have only the basic apps provided by cyanogenmod and th google apps file.
And I tried wifi/3g unsuccesful.
the problem began when i downgraded my firmware the android started to dowload all my apps and it started to crash. and after that downloads started to be unsuccesful.
I would start again,
Try full wipe 1.2 (froyo ROMs) or 1.3 (gb ROMs). If you Google it, will find it in xda.
It will be a zip, and run from cwm recovery same as flashing a Rom or kernel.
Make sure the Rom your going to flash is not corrupted, check md5 checksum. Then flash again.

ok i will do this. i tried something i dowloaded the cyanogen rom 7.0 and i flashed my phone by the recovery mode. before that i hard reset, wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache. i installed the google apps zip. then on reboot i choose to restore my old parameters. android market seems to download all my old apps but there isn't any notification. but on the market apps there is a hudge list of apps and a the bottom there is a small start of apps installed. so maybe it is working.
Problem solved !
I went to recovery mode wipe data/cache/dalvik.
flashed Cyanogenmod and google apps.
rebooted and all my apps were dowloaded.
Your apps werer restaured !
Thanks
excellent

As stated above , my note 2 recently stopped me from downloading anything from the app store. So i cleared the data ,cache and uninstall the updates and made it worst. Now it just force closes. Hence, is there any simpler way to get play store to work again without factory reset?
Your help is much appreciated

There are plenty of PlayStore Zip-files for flashing floating around here in the forums. Did you try that as well? You could also just try to flash your ROM again, without fullwipe, just cache and dalvik.

Hi all.
I am having this problem for the second time.
Play store says no connection. Retry.
Tried dalvik wipe + cache + data wipe + un install updates + delete accounts.db
Now I can't even add a Google account.
I had this problem before and factory reset didn't help.
Only re flashing system helped.
I am on Wanamlite now. I think I was on Wanamlite last time also.
I don't wanna wipe and start over.
I haven't made any major modifications in a while just installed and deleted some games.
I reinstalled fifa 12 is the last thing I remember as it wasn't working for some reason while play store did work back then.

I'm sorry, but isn't this supposed to be in the Q&A forum?
Maybe clearing cache from recovery might help.
Try clearing app data on google play services, play store, gmail, and any other google app that isnt working. This should fix the problem.
If for some reason is doesnt then download the latest gapps for your device and install them through recovery

Hi, I have a Nokia X running latest firmware: Nokia X Platform 1.2.4.1. However, when I finished rooting the phone and installed Google Play services using Nokia X Toolkit, the phone seems to have trouble turning it off. When I try to turn off the phone, the phone stuck at a gray screen after the vibration. The phone seems to be unresponsive unless I do a battery pull.
How do I solve this?

Try MIUI Recovery Flash it Via Nokia X Flasher
It seems like my problem lies on the Spotify app. When I installed Spotify from Google Play, my phone fails to turn off.

But it gives reboot error.
There might be a bug on some app service, which force phone to restart
