Every time I try to open an existing note in S Note it hangs for a bit, then it says "Unfortunately, S Note has stopped". What's going on?
I'm using rooted deodexed XALJ3 with these mods: TouchWiz 5x4 (reverted later to stock still the same problem), AC!D Audio enhancement, N7100 added multiscreen apps, and a custom android.policy.jar for the reboot to recovery/download mode.
Any help guys?
EDIT: BTW I tried clearing data and also wiping dalvik cache and cache, didn't help.
EDIT #2: Nvm I reflashed the stock ROM through ODIN and it works.
can u help me too?

S-Note not working on Ultimate ROM XXLSA
Hi,
I am using Ultimate N7000 ROM XXLSA Jelly Bean 4.1.2 V5 on my Galaxy Note GT-N7000. I want to install S Note Premium Suite. I have tried with Snote_Q1.apk, com.sec.android.app.snotebook-1.apk. However nothing is working. After installation when i open the application it gives a message that 'Unfortunately S-Note has Stopped".
Please help by providing me the correct apk or zip file for S-Note. Also All Share is not available on this rom.
Best Regards,
reflashing full ROM + CSC and let it boot first, and let it install anything in its stock Sammy recovery before you flash custom kernel is the fix for me..

I am bit of a new with rooting/flashing ROMs so apologies is some questions sounds stupid
I had a bog stock note 2 int. model with 4.1.2, I rooted, CWM and flashed DN3 plus MJ5 boot loader + wifi fix and it is working fine, however I seem to be missing a lot of the stock widgets, the full page ones with Gallery/Data Usage/Alarm Clock etc.. and also when I put widgets on a screen they seem to dissapear again, have a few issues with touchwizz stopping and also settings not responding, another one is multiwindow, for some reason Xposed installer will not do the update/install in framework, it stops there and then I get an error that setting have stopped -
anyone have an idea what I have missed doing ???
Okay... about that flashing of DN3... you went FULL wipe, right? System, Data and everyghint (besides boot and SDcard)? Second, if you flash mj5 you DON'T need the WiFi fix from Dr. Ketan's thread. mj5 works just fine. Also pay attention to the OP > Downloads section, there are some fixes and additional zips to be flashed (Gallery + SNS, widged fix).
My advice? Wipe ALL and flash ROM again. Then flash the SNS + Gallery and widgets fixes. It should be working like a charm.

In addition, also in OP, you can see link for the flashable stock widgets which you said your missing.. So all your stated problems is not actually problems at all but a matter of very well reading habit.
Flash with a clean wipe using philz
Wipe for clean rom option
Wipe data,cache,system,dalvik
Mount and storage-wipe internal sd
Flash dn3 zip
Reboot n set ur phn

You probably changed something you shouldn't have. Wiping data/cache can only remove the apps you used to alter things, but it won't touch the system files or kernel files you have already altered. You need flash the ROM or firmware that you are using again to get your files back to normal. Make sure you backup your data first.
com.android.systemui has stopped for grand i9082
Hi,
I had upgraded from 4.2 to 4.4.4 as mentioned in the link (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2603219)
I have flashed the custom ROM (CYANOGENMOD) on my samsung galaxy grand i9082,
I was able to use this ROM perfectly for a weeks time.
But when I had changed the clock details (center alignment & Font)
I got the "Unfotunately com.android.systemui has stopped",
To resolve this I had done a hard reset (fornatted data/cache/dalvik cache and reinstalled the ROM)
but now I am getting this showstopper error during the first boot itself - I have not even been able to open the App drawer or settings menu.
Please help.

Download your tar file for stock rom from sammobile.com Download Odin.
Unzip the zip file to get tar. Go to download mode in phone and connect to PC. Open Odin and put the tar file in PDA. Check only autoreboot and f time reset. Leave others unticked.
Press start and wait for ROM to be flashed. It will take some time( unplug only after it says pass with green light).. After stock ROM is flashed, factory reset again. Then flash your custom recovery and your desired ROM. Remember , while flashing custom ROM, follow the instructions given in the respective thread.
This will be a clean install and the errors will go away, at the cost of your internal data being wiped.

I hope someone could help me in this question.

1) Does this happen even when there are no images in the gallery?
2) Do you wipe everything before you install the ROM?
3) Same problem with Stock?
Well I haven't checked with the stock one ; the apps runs fine until I click on the gallery album and yes I wipe everything before installing a new ROM
What I do is the following:
1. Install the stock ROM through Odin (4.4.2)
2. Then I do a full wipe with the stock recovery.
3. Then, I root the phone and after install the custom recovery (twrp in this case)
4. Finally I install the external SD patch to my model and then install the custom ROM.
my phone got a bit slow one day so i reset it and now all image based apps don't load some say cache dir not found/created. when i try to download something through a third part app it says download error. I'm on the att ota update for 4.4. ive tried resetting the phone multiple times but it doesn't help. so i rooted and i'm on a custom rom with everything working fine but roms are buggy. can you please tell me how to fix this problem so i can go back to stock frimware. tks
Did you factory reset with stock recovery installed or a custom one?

No bootloader or boot logo
Ok. First while wiping factory data and wipe dalvik, it showed "unknown volume for path /sd-ext". I ignored because it was also shown when i flashed stock ROM.
Then after flashing rom, during rebooting, an error came: "rom may flash stock recovery on boot - select yes to keep recovery". I select yes.
Then While i Odex the ROM using odex -all, there are many failed to odex messages.
Also there is no boot logo is coming and there is no xperia lock screen and its just theme like not really which is shown in video.

Hey, I have already tried fully cleaned install of the rom. I flashed latest stock 4.2.2 then install custom recovery then install this xperiaz.zip. But same problem.
Is it possible that it is due to me installing it over latest stock rom. Should I install a older version of 4.2.2 stock rom and then retry.

No. There are several errors. LMT stops responding. setting menu is unchanged, just like stock. And carousel view is not working.
And Hey, I am getting this error while wiping data and dalvik cache: "unknown volume for path /sd-ext". I looked up the forum and thinking that it might be problem in partition. Should I repartition my storage. If yes, then please tell how.
Do this. Do a factory reset from recovery. Then reinstall this rom. Make sure you don't get any errors while reflashing the zip.
FM Radio is missing!
FM Radio is missing in the rom. Please can provide that.
