you should try them all and see which has the better battery performance, i'm using ordroidx and it is great imo....

I think for now the roms are almost the same. But I personally prefer the "OrDroid" rom.

it depends on the usage, cause if you're connected 100% with mobile data the battery will drain very very fast (caused by hot battery), calls won't drain battery imo...

What is the best stable custom rom for wildfire s ?
CM9 or CM7 or anything ??
its relative, depend the device.

CM 7 is the most stable non-sense ROM till now. CM9 has some bugs , if u can survive wth them , you can use it. For sense rom personally i like Wildchild.

CM9 is not ready for regular use.have many bugs,so i recommand you to use CM7 its good stable and speedy, supports app2sd.

previous: very stable and reliable

is there HTC Sense Rom that hasnt got really bad battery drain ? my phone is only lasting about 7-8 hours and thats not gaming this is with twitter mostly.
I started using Simon's sense 3.5 (continued development of JMZ)
its pretty stable, the 2 or 3 bugs are things i never even use.

no way! cyanogenmods are sense-less, if you want sense interface you must use a sense rom.
can try a non-sense customizable rom with a sense theme, but it's not a good choice imho..
Cryptomilk CM9
Just trying out ....
cm-9.0.0-RC0-CRYPTOMILK-ALPHA3-UNOFFICIAL-marvel
This seems pretty nifty, no issues as yet, and looks really good too with lots of control tweaks with the Trebuchet app.
cheers

My WildChild WOM wasts a weally wong time.
With moderate to heavy usage (phone, browsing, streaming, Market, etc.) I get a good 24hrs on it. Usually more.
If your main concern is battery life, set your CPU min/max to 600/600Mhz using the Performance governor. Use noop as the scheduler. Your phone will last a long time and still be peppy (but not overclocked).

[q] cm9 vs cm10

CM9 VS CM10 Which Better For Gaming , Faster , Mods , Better Kernels and Bettery Life ??
i wanna ANS PLZ
i think slimbean
CM9. With Seeder v5. Using either Castagnal IT kernel or hadi's.
CM10 is not stable enough that's all. Battery lasted 3 days with wifi on.
Underclocked though~

Well, I'm using CM10 Alpha 3 now and everything I've experienced is far better than what I've experienced with ICS ROMS. JB is absolutely smoother than ICS. Try Slimbean first if you don't wanna waste time downloading just to test things. Apply forfivo's kernel v2 for jb to improve performance.
Just to be honest, even though many users are saying that there's many bugs and issues on cm10, the times you will encounter them are so minimal. And the phone is still fit for daily use. Just take my advice. Try CM10.

Have you even used it before comparing it to cm9? I doubt it so what your saying is nothing more than baseless rubbish that cm9 is better tan cm10.
Its a fact that wifi drains the battery and to keep it on all the time is stupid and it takes a really stupid person to not be able to see that cause its been said again and again and again that having it on drains the battery and then you complain that the battery drains fast when you have wifi on all day. Yea I see s a real intelligent person there.

all ics and jb rom has been test..cm10 kernel 2.6 and 3.0..and i have 7 difference rom,4 custom kernel on my external sd card..when someone mention about some rom,i flash straight away.try using as long as i satisfied..but cm9 still better on itself..in term of stock cm9 n stock cm10..no mod..

Can you please just calm down and stop sounding like you are trying to start a fight for absolutely no reason at all, calling people stupid, everyone is just giving their own opinion, giving an answer. I myself would suggest cm9 too as not all games work properly with jb and its very stable as of now.

I'm in no means to start argument. But I left it with wifi on for three days to test for battery life.
If you don't connect to the internet much, wifi will barely consume any battery. But if you have any more to say, try having 3G on. My experience is that browsing on the internet with 3G on will even consume battery with AC plugged in.(though that is when I'm still in stock GB)
I keep my wifi on when I'm at home because file updates run better on them. (and is needed for frequent teamviewer usage too)
I did not state the fact that CM10 is worse than CM9, its just stability. And as a person who relies on his phone quite a lot, stability does come before performance.
Thanks for iBlueee and peanutghost(direct translate) for being rational

[Q] Which ROM to choose for good battery?

So, I'm looking for a ROM that basically gives me better battery life for daily use. I found myONEv and Shpongle which I like, however, I'm not sure which one is better to use? I'd like to have GPS, WiFi, camera and sound working flawlessly (I've heard that Shpongle limits camera to 3MP?), is that possible with both of the ROMs?
Thanks in advance!

Shpongle has 5MP camera if you use thrid-party one. For battery life, it's all on personal opinion, so try them out for yourself and see.

Well, the unmodified stock ROM gives me about a day with battery levels around 8-9 % each evening, can I reasonably expect any of the two ROMs to give me more battery life?

Battery life: Sense vs AOSP

I would like to confirm this issue I have. Is it just me or is AOSP rom more battery draining than sense roms? I'm able to last on the average of 12~15 hours per charge with using whatsapp through but when it comes to AOSP rom, I hardly use it and I barely can get it to last 10 hours at all. Is there any explanation regarding this?
I really love AOSP but I just can't seem to get the battery to last. So any suggestions regarding this would help
Yes aosp Rom's use the battery quicker, it's well known and has been discussed hundred's of times. Try greenify from the play store

i've already tried greenify but my battery could hardly last up to 10hrs and I really love AOSP over sense just that I can't get one that is able to match up with the sense's rom battery life

This question had been asked a lot of times and answered a lot of times too already. Battery life depends on your daily use, we may have the same phone, use the same ROM/ kernel but we use it differently. We can't have have both good battery life and good performance at the same time. So the best and only way is to try it

Then try each one of them using its stock kernel for at least 3 cycles of full battery. I'm using CM11 and battery last for 1.5 days (more or less) on my daily use. Haven't tried Beanstalk and DCM yet, I'm fine with CM11.
