[Q] HOX G sensor problem - HTC One X

Hello there,
i am now currently using InsertCoin One X 9.7.0 and the stock kernel. My Hboot version is 1.12. But my g-sensor doesn't work properly. Sometimes the g-sensor works after I flashed another kernel or simply rebooting the device. I have searched on the internet about this problem but there are no solutions for that.
I have attached the log for the sensor. I am desperate to get my g-sensor back, please help me to save my device. Thank you.

There is no solution, because it is probably a hardware fault. Had this problem once and had to send it in for repair.

i don't want to send it back to HTC cause i bought it in asia. If I send it back , I think i will need to pay for the repairing cost.

well, i agree probably it is a HW problem, if you don't want to send it back you'll live with it

Constant LogCat error - inv_get_mag_rate

I was just playing around with aLogcat app today and noticed something and not sure what it is. Curious if anyone here might know.
It's a constant error that literally coming up 6-9 times a SECOND...it's basically the only error (lines in RED) that keeps repeating itself over and over in my logcat file (in realtime or history). I dont have any known issues or anything that is happening that made me look for this but it's there so i'm curious.
E/ ( 560): inv_get_mag_rate
and that's it...over and over and over..several times a second..if not for that, my realtime logcat would run at a much slower rate and be readable..as per normal but this one error is constant..
any ideas?
thanks
I'm seeing same thing. Mly searches aren't coming up with answers yet.

same here. It only happen when I launch an app that uses the sensors.. Google maps in my case. Disabling GPS doesn't stop it, so it's probably the compass.
Edit: put the attached .so file into /system/lib/ and rename the old one. It seems to have fixed it for me.

1: be sure to had back-upped your EFS files
And i had this problem, and after days of ignorance of the community and self-research i decided to download the proprietary files from https://github.com/TheMuppets/ instead of extracting them myself and that did the trick.
thanks for your reply
how to back-upped EFS files ?
I tested many times, that this issue should be related with the kernel, rather than rom

EFS should be independent of it.
When I was in exchange for the official kernel and rom. All normal.

[Q] Slimbean 6.8 d2att Play Store Issue

On an AT&T Samsung SGH-I747, UCDLK3.
I upgraded from the most recent Slimbean 6.7 weekly to the new official 6.8 yesterday (format system/cache/dalvik formats). Now I'm having download and update trouble with new and installed apps. This is an error I've never seen before, not the usual "720 or 719 unknown reason" errors which can usually be fixed by clearing the Play Store cache & data. See the screen shot for the Play Store error I'm getting on SB 6.8.
Here's everything I've tried so far:
(Screen shot of Play Store error here, and a logcat taken while I was attempting a download at the bottom of post.)

1. Cleared Play Store cache & data.
2. Formatted cache & dalvik cache in CWM recovery.
3. Fixed permissions in CWM recovery.
4. Rebooted
Play Store download failed, again.
5. Deleted 6 or 7 apps, repeated steps 1 - 4.
Play Store download failed, again.
6. Repeated step 2, then re-installed the Slimbean 6.8 AIO add-ons, which include the latest gapps for Slimbean and Android 4.2.2.
Play Store download failed, again.
7. Restored my Slimbean 6.7 NAND backup.
8. Play Store works fine after 6.7 NAND restore.
9. Did a completely clean factory wipe, dalvik wipe, sdcard wipe SB 6.8 and 6.8 AIO add-ons install.
Play Store download failed, again.

Bluetooth stutter when unlocking screen

As the title suggests when i am on my bluetooth headphones and i unlock the screen the sound stutters. I am on B511 and i tried turning off the lockscreen sound and disabling the huawei lockscreen. Nothing helped. Please help.
Sent from my HUAWEI P6-U06 using XDA Free mobile app
Same here. I guess its the screen lock sound.
Even after I disable the lockscreen sound it still happens. It seems to have something to do with the bluetooth version also for example my headphones are old and and cheap but my sony soundbar is new and probably has bluetooth 3.0 or 4.0 and it happens only 1/5 tines with the lock sound on. It still happens but its much better.
Edit: It started happening on the Soundbar after a while also...
Edit2: I don't think it happened on 4.2... It started from B510 onward.
Logcat:
From what I can see for some reason not shown in logcat the bluetooth audio just stops for no apparent reason when unlocking the device.

[Q] Root permission on CM-12.1

I am having a problem/issue with Root permission in CM-12.1 ROM. Developer option is set to ADB/Application, when i do
$ adb shell
$ su
It works fine on terminal. But when I goto Root-Permission required application, Root permission doesn't work at all. Got a log:
D/su ( 5898): su invoked.
