3.5mm audio cable with remote and maybe mic - Galaxy S III Accessories

Does anywhere shipping to the UK sell a 3.5mm male-to-male or female-to-male cable including a remote fully compatible with the S3 (i.e. not an iPhone remote).
If it includes a microphone, that would be a bonus.

I'm also looking for a cable like this (female to male), but with mic. I would appreciate if anyone would recommend one. I 've one from Sony but it doesn't work (sound output works fine but Mic doesn't!).

[Q] Stereo Output to Car

I am on my third Incredible replacement (first one would superheat and enter a reboot cycle; second came to me with an already blown speaker; this one seems fine), but I have been unable on ANY of them to get the AUX INPUT on my car to play in stereo when hooked up. Headphones work fine.
This leads me to believe that it may be the cable, but an ipod works fine (=stereo) with that cable.
Any thoughts?
I believe that modern ipod cables have 4 conductors. You need an old school 3 conductor cable.

Aux should work in your car, if your having general problems with the input - download "Headset Blocker" from the market and add it as a widget on your homescreen then enable it and try again. This disable any headset voice actions because for some reason incredibles have trouble with determining headsets from auxiliary inputs.
I have had the same problem and I had to end up buying audio video cables and getting the old school three prong adapter to work. But I am going to try his method about downloading the app off the market and I will see how it works.
Thanks

Can you recommend a cable that worked for you ... maybe from Monoprice?!?
Thanks!
It looks like product id 644 should do the trick, if the picture is accurate. I am also assuming you need 3.5mm male connectors on both ends. They also have higher quality versions of the cable. Check out the Audio Cable - RCA / 3.5mm section.

Bluetooth to 3.5mm aux jack

Has anyone here tried to use Bluetooth on their phone to stream music to their car's AUX jack via something like this.
amazon.com/Miccus-BluBridge-mini-jack-Rx-Bluetooth/dp/B0038MA11U/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1292165899&sr=1-2
Add in w w w. before amazon. Sorry can't post links yet
Seems like it will do what I want. Just wondering if anyone has tried this with hopefully a cheaper device.
I was wondering a similar thing, as I saw a Belkin adapter which I think is similar at the Apple store: http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-F8Z492...1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1292170918&sr=1-1
Kensington LiquidAUX
I use a bluetooth Kensington LiquidAUX. It works great.
I have 2 blackberry stereo gateways, one in the car and one in the house. It works great. Actually works better than it did with my blackberry for range in the house.
The blackberry gateway looks like a good deal. I think I might give that a go.
Thanks for the replies!

not a bad idea
I have a Kenwood DNX-9140 head unit in the car which has built-in bluetooth for both phone and audio. I use the audio portion quite a bit. I can stream audio files as well as internet radio that way. Works great.
Sorry I can't help .. I use a 3.5 to cassette adapter

Have you thought of using this ?
I have one on order..
http://cgi.ebay.com/3-5mm-Male-M-Stereo-Audio-Adapter-Cable-3-5-mm-Mp3-4-/320620176442
before i got a new head unit, i was using bluetooth to a blackberry stereo gateway to tape adapter. it worked well, especially for what it was.
when it was made obsolete with my new had unit, i tried bringing it inside to hook up a stereo wirelessly. i used a $.01 wall -> usb power adapter that seemed to introduce some significant audio interference...to the point that it was unacceptable. so just be warned that you may want to be sure to have a "clean" mini usb power source.
other than that, i was happy with it.
I use my phone with bluetooth on my pioneer deck(forgot the model number) and it is awesome. But there is a few pros and cons.
With the win amp app I can just hop in my car wait for the phone to connect then press next on my cd deck and music starts to play ... awesome as well as use turn by turn gps while playing music through. Its very hands free but down side is I have had it lagg and it would skip a word in the song but that might be the rom I am using.

FM Transmitter

Hello, I'm looking for a FM transmitter for my phone that I can use with my car. It has to be inexpensive and I only want that particular device, not one of those DVD products. Does anyone have a product in mind that they use? Can you charge with it as well? Thanks.

VR3 FM transmitter works great. Tried a.couple others but they were staticy and volume was low...only use vr3 now.

I have a scoshe (probably spelled wrong)and I've tried an as seen on TV one, (I think it was Jupiter jack). I'd recommended you avoid those and, I never use it cause of lots of static. It made me miss my old cassette adapter cause those worked really well.
I am not sure how much you consider as inexpensive or expensive but I use the GG-FLEXSMART-X2 from GoGroove. I picked mine up for about 40 bucks and the sound quality is great. There is everything you want an FM transmitter for your car including USB for charging, a 3.5mm headphone jack, rewind, fast forward and pause buttons, also volume control. I used to try a whole bunch of FM transmitters but sound quality and build quality this one is the best one I have used so far.
Motorola T505. Bluetooth and auto-scan for FM channels.

Bluetooth receivers for audio

Anyone have any experience with any of these types of products? I was looking for one that would work with my Xoom to use in the aux port in my car and the prices seem to be coming down lately.

I got an Logitech Wireless Speaker Adapter for Bluetooth Audio
I use it for my home stereo and it works awesome!
Sorry cant post links but just do a google on it
Friend of mine uses the Logitech Adapter for Bluetooth, and it works really good. Some people might say that you loose some quality of the audio compared to using the aux cable directly, I would not hear the difference.
Check out the Sony MW600 bluetooth dongle. Minimal to none audio quality loss and you can pair it with a number of devices. I've had mine for 5 years, still going strong.

3.5mm external mic USB-C adapter that works?

Hi guys, I have a 3.5 mm TRRS external microphone that works perfectly with the Galaxy s9 however I have tried two USB C adapters and get no microphone audio at all. Has anybody found a adapter that definitely works with an external microphone?

Not knowing which plugs you tried, I bought the Google dongle last night from target for $6.99. Might be worth a shot. Check target website and have it price match in store.
Hey! The guy I bought mine off of says he's got another if you want it? Let me know & I'll help you get in contact!
Just to confirm, the official Samsung adapter works perfectly with an external lapel microphone. This is because you require a DAC digital audio converter and the official Samsung adapter has one.

Ok well if you DON'T wanna pay a crapload for one....let me know! He charged me $9 for mine!
Hey so this actually fast charges the phone and allows you to listen to music at the same time??
