If you want rooted stock, use Benny's links above. If you want it completely stock without root, run the RUU provided in the link below:

Yep, 4.67 is the latest official ruu.
The 5.07 never came out. Just use Finz link

Open the RUU
Press WindowsKey + R
Type in "%TEMP%", then enter
Sort the file by date modified and find the folder with a zip that says "rom.zip"
Copy that to your desktop
Close the RUU
Rename the "rom.zip" to "PC36IMG.zip" and place it on the root of your sdcard (not inside ANY folder)
Boot your phone into bootloader (power it off, then hold the power key + VolDown)
The bootloader should find the PC36IMG.zip and commence the update process back to 100% stock
Note: Your sdcard must be formatted to FAT32 for this to work

Well my Evo's charging port broke a couple of days ago and I took it in to Sprint to see what they could do. Well they told me I have to Unroot if I want the insurance to cover it. The charging port is broken so how do I unroot it and everything from my phone. Also my contract ends in november so is there a chance I can get a Evo 3D instead of my OG evo without renewing my contract?

radio: 2.15.00.0808
S-Off
H-Boot:0.97.0000
Do you think they check to see if my phone has S-On at sprint?
I already have stock ROM on it, so they cant figure out if my phone is rooted unless they go into recovery. So what do you think I should do?

I can always download the files directly from the phone but I dont know what files to put on the SD card that will give me s-on. I already flashed stock rom and now all I need is S-On.
just follow the instuctions on the threads. if all elese fails then tell them it was stolen and get a new phone that way. works for me lol
If you unrevoked then you need to flash the 2.15.00.11.19 radio and then the s-on zip from unrevoked site. That will get you s-on.

^This.
See the first "My Links" link in my sig for everything you need to fully unroot. The 2.15.00.11.19 radio is linked, and well as the S-ON zip. Then I have some stock ROMs you can flash in HBOOT to finish the job .

Anyway the problem I am having.
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip 1.09.01.0312_vivow_Radio_PG32IMG.zip Same as the above, do not interrupt under any circumstances (unless you really wanted a phone-shaped paperweight )
On that last step it will not let me flash. When I try it comes back with FAILED (remote: 12 signature verify fail)
I have tried to rename it to PG32IMG.zip and put it in the sd card root for an update however it reads the file and skips over the update without letting me apply it.
I have also tried to flash from fastboot with the original file name and renaming the file. I still get the Failed message
Any help would be great. For now I dont know where to go.
Cant install ViperINC, help
Hello, since I just joined the forum I am unable to post in Development section. So I'll try my luck here.
I am running S-off with twrp recovery. When I try to install ViperINC it fails at the last step "installation" in AROMA. Basically I select everything I need in the AROMA click next it looks like its trying to install but then just finishes and pops up a next button. When I click it just says Enjoy you have successfully completed installation. Below is the info I was able to retrieve from twrp.
Thank you

I have been tring to do that. They say Revolutionary should be self explainitory however. I get to this step
Zerging Root.. This might take a minute or so.. Root Acquired!
Sending in Caroline...
Cleaning up...
Rebooting to fastboot...
When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back!
Waiting for Fastboot...
Then nothing. My phone reboots into fastboot. I left the tool running in the backround for an hour with it stuck there and nothing else happens. I never get S-Off.
Since I have tried this several times over the last few days I even tried to use fastboot during one of the revolutionary processes just to see if fastboot is working and it is. Just the tool never gets me to S-Off. dont know what to do

Yes. Part of the guide requires you to use both ADB and Fastboot. both of them work outside of Revolutionary
also on a side note I tried to do it again tonight as my 1 hour trek. I checked device manager to make sure there were no driver malfunctions recorded by wndows before using revolutionary and while using it.

A lot of people have a problem with the flash a new radio part. If you are following the guide I'd just on to the next step which I believe is revolution. As long as you obtained the correct key from the website for your phone that should unlock your phone to s-off and it'll day revolution at the top of the hboot screen instead of locked. From there If you aren't having any problems don't even bother with a new radio. Just pick a custom ROM, follow the instructions and flash it.

During the guide process I could never flash the radio. I tried flashing it from Custom recovery with the Superuser option when having dev unlock. I tried flashing from Fastboot as its asked. Ive tried renaming the file from PG32IMG, I also tried downloading alternate radios to be where I need to be. I also tried modifying the original flash rom folder so it would not replace the correct radio I needed. Non of the above options work as it fails with 12 connection error. I also tried all those options on 3 different sd cards just to be sure my sd card didnt do down in flames. Without flashing the radio I only got 1 boot into the OS to try and run revolution Tool. It would run reboot into fastboot Fastboot is responsive however after letting it sit for over an hour per attempt it never rebooted to give me the full S-off which also means no custom roms cause I cant flash radios without being S-off to start with. Forgot to add when I renamed it to the PG32IMG and got into boot mode. it would read the file and never give me the option to install update. it would skip over it like it wasnt there.

Yes, part of the guide tells you to go in and turn off fastboot before start revolutionary tool. Also the custom mod I want to use for it would require me to flash firmware and custom radio for ICS. Neither of which I can do with s-on. And is the reason I am tring to get s-off with her phone
as far as I know you can just go htc dev unlocked, with root. download the custom rom that you want, flash it in recovery, pull the boot img and rename it to pg32img.zip put that on the sd card in the main area not in a folder. go into the boot loader. it'll grab the boot image file named pg32img.zip and install it. then change the file name, boot phone and profit.

Close, but you can't just rename an image to a zip like that, in order to go the PG32IMG route you'd need to create a zip with the correct file structure and put the boot.img in that. Instead of trying to figure that out, just extract the boot.img, plug it into your PC, boot into the bootloader and run "fastboot flash boot boot.img" to flash the kernel.

Hey I have aqquired the old radio.img for primoc and the old hboot.nb0 so they can be used to downgrade after virgin mobile recent ota update but how do I flash these?
Not positive bit I think you put them on your sd card and name them PK7xxx whatever your bootloader shows it's looking for every time you boot into it... P.S. would you be ok with going back to stock with the updated radio and updated hboot? Because if you have a Nand backup of your stock OTA..... I have the

hello,
First of all I want to mention I am throughly confused because there are tons of threads out here.
I have a H3G Uk DHD and unlocked the boot loader.
I have been trying to follow this gude in vain.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2168500
I am stuck at step 7 where it says Go to recovery advanced options and reboot recovery... I cant understand what it means.
So i figured it was to do something with htc fast boot. got the fast boot files and try to do a fastbook flash boot boot.img
But it just sits there saying waiting for device though it is connected.
I even tried putting pd98img.zip in the memory card and rebooting in recovery but it says cant find or wrong image.
Can someone please help? i am so tired of this
What do you mean step 7?
This one? "Reboot into bootloader again and plug the phone to the PC."
If so, try universal adb driver if you are in fastboot mode and your phone isn't recognized.
How to get into the fastboot menu is not your problem right? If it is, then switch off the phone,
hold vol down and press and hold power, release power and you should see the bootloader in hboot, where you can choose the fastboot mode.
Hope it helps.
Thanks for the reply. There is a pdf guide in that thread.
When I reboot, all I see is HBOOT, RECOVERY, FACTORY RESET AND SIMLOCK I think. If
I cant seem to find fastboot mode.
Are there other ways to install pd98img? Whats this gold card thing? I created a gold card and placed pd98img.zip in the root of the card. It still wont install. Any pointers?

Haha! I actually did some research for a week and officially found the word from developers that 0027 has a bootloader that cannot be unlocked. One has to upgrade it to 0029.i exactly did that and it worked! I'm on CM11 now.
I just thought that maybe you know some other alternative solution that i might not be aware of at the moment.

Don't unzip it.
Are you S-Off or S-On? With S-On you'll need to relock your bootloader first.
Are you trying to flash the RUU.zip with regular fastboot? That won't work. The file is too large. You either have to use HTC's fastboot, or rename the zip and use the SD card method to flash it.
