I'm on stock 4.1.2 and its on there for me. If its a custom ROM or any changes to DPI or navigation bar then that's probably why.
Working fine for me. Did u change DPI of or ROM? What ROM are you using?
i am running Glazed Jellybean ver 2.0... yes i changed the dpi to 177 why would that change the app from working on my N7? and what is the best dpi setting that is not in phablet mode i dont like having black bar on bottom and tp of screen.

Different dpi's can sometimes do bad things for play store compatibilty. It's an age old android quirk.
i changed the dpi back to 213 the game still is not showing.

It's the lcd. Change it back to 240, or downgrade to a 2.x.x market.

I downloaded an app that changes the screen dpi. I have it set to 180 dpi now. Can anything bad come out of doing this?
Is this a good dpi, or is there something better?

It can cause issues with Google play, some apps might give you an error saying the device isn't compatible.

But it wont cause any physical damage?
If you want to change DPI I recommend you try Paranoid Android. It's a pretty solid ICS rom and you change between phone, tablet, or a hybrid UI and change the DPI accordingly.

The initial play store screen shows only apps, magazines, and music.
Everything else seems to be fine.
I think what he means is that certain apps, in the store, will not show up as compatible for your phone based on the density you select. This is true even if your phone is actually compatible with it.
I used texdroider dpi worked good with jmt

I've installed and updated Xposed framework, and Xposed App Settings mod and the mod is enabled. Still I see no effect after applying DPI changes? Why's that?
Some DPI changes requires a restart to take effect.
Nope, nothing. I tried System UI and Awesome Note, changed to 160 DPI. Nothing - it's all the same.
Do you have the latest version of the xposed app settings module installed? Some apps wouldn't change dpi for me until I installed the latest one.

Nope. Not working either - updated and tried the method, no difference. Do you have to restart every single time with every app? It works on nothing for me, I've tried restarting a few times after applying, can't bother doing that anymore though.
If it works on nothing, are you sure you've installed the xposed framework properly? As in, you've launched the installer after installing the apk and pressed "install/update" and rebooted afterwards?
I've had no issues with the xposed app settings on either Samsung or cm based ROMs.

Yeah I know how to edit build.prop, not exactly what I'm looking for. Does it change per app DPI?
For most of the apps it changes the DPI. I am not sure whether the DPI changes for games too, cause all the games are same as before.

So I can change the DPI of apps INDIVIDUALLY? Gimme the link then.

I think he means, something like AOSPA. For instance, changing gmail to tablet UI, instead of phone UI. Not necessarily just the size.

have you tried paranoid android? it lets you choose what layout you want
You need to set the DPI to 160 tablet format.
Anyway to do it but keep the normal layout? As in just YouTube lol

As far as I know PA offer the possibility to change per app DPI so you can change the YouTube DPI without affecting other things.
