I have two questions...
1. Can I flash this to my phone, if not will CyanogenMod be releasing nightlies for the Sprint version?? http://cm-nightlies.appspot.com/?device=galaxys2
2. Will this phone get Android 4.0?
No......... Its being worked on... Yes
Yes ibwould fully expect thisnphone too get icecream sandwich. And it been posted in numerous places that it will. Its the freakin gs2 man. Haha long before it was ever released even when it was just a rumor everyone wanted it. Its sprints current flagship.. and the best phone currently available for purchase. And from what i understand yeah you can flash that but it will cause your modem too stop working. Meaning yeah itll work boot and all but no data or phone calls

Why can't DEV'ing for an android be as easy as VB... Its got to go to C and shhtuf... Or even so, I used to make 'theme's' for my Blackberry Bold.... That was way easy... Even theming for ROM's is a lot to read up on... I wish I would have gotten more into Android before my daughter was born.. I am still trying to read up on Themeing using anything but Kitchen.. But it is complicated stuff...
Because I am planning on keeping my SII for a while... Does anyone have any tips for theming? Or know of somewhere I can catch some literature on it?

Thanks guys... I will have to check out some of his videos... I tried to Google the themeing side.... Some of the stuff I came across actually made it even more confusing for me... Haha, but I will check out those videos! Thanks!
If we have seen anything we know John Legree will do anything to make T-Mobile better. Let's try a tweet campaign to see if he will do one more thing that no other carrier does. Tell your friends to hop on board and post this too
@ JohnLegree so my s4 is still on 4.2.2 I understand you all have to test things. Have you guys ever thought about letting the development community test new releases of Roms before ready for the general public? You realize if you do this you would be the only carrier to do this? #uncarrier #4.0

I am sure there is a test group. I know Sprint has one as I have spoken to some techs that had beta versions of updates on their phones. They used to have test rev phones that would get those updates to test. Not sure if it still works that way...that was 2-3 years ago.
There is a post that specifically proves that T-Mobile has a test group. A guy got his hands on a test device with 4.3 that he already sent back so this would most likely be a waste.

There is a test group only for employees. My friend get phones to test all the time (He is a tech support on tmobile) But the sad part is that they cant root the test firmware because tmobile will find out even if you get it back to stock. So they wont risk to root and give us the rom.
I really really want this but it seems nobody has made it or wants to make it.
I want to make it but I've never made a ROM.
How could I make it? Is it even possible?
if z find source code itz poss
Take a look at Samsung Open Soucre Release Center an search for T110. You can get Sources for JB and KK.
If there's a source for jb you would think a rom would be released

I tried to port CM10 today but couldn't get it to boot. I too would love to see something other than touchwiz. If I run across anything that will get us closer to "other than stock" I will be sure to post it here.

I tried to use the tab2 lite as the port. Any suggestions as to which tablet I could use to port from. I figured the Tab2 would have made a perfect candidate but man was I wrong. Back to the drawing board. Lol.

Thete is hardly any development on this phone. My note 2 and 3 there were tons of roms. But it's dead here . Every one leave sprint? Not that i blame them sprint is pretty lame. ..
Nah, my guess would be that since we all know Lollipop 5.xx is coming, the developers are probably waiting. It's still a pretty new device too. Jmho...

Cm and asop romz are built almost daily n there getting more stable
Hybrid-X Stock ROM is probably the most stable and best rom out at the moment. He is also woking on a dark version of the Stock rom. Soo many options unlocked in this rom.
I use to use CM as it was basically "Rooting for Dummies" I am not cutting anyone down (I use to love CM) but you dont have to think with that rom you install and it does the rest it will even update the rom for you. You dont have to think when you have that rom, you are safe and should not have any problems which is why I loved it. However their roms were not stable and updating too often so I tried other builds and found Hybrid-X to be the best so far.
My guess is tho everyone else is waiting for Lolipop to arrive. But tx is still working hard on his ROM and is always improving it even when he says he is done for a while, all of a sudden there is an update or a new mod you can use. If you dont use his at least watch the build and see what is still going on with his rom.

Oh and Sprint may seem lame to you, but all carriers have their own pros and cons. For me I left verizon and came to sprint for the unlimited data and I pay a lot less monthly. Went from having to data-mine and count my megabites, to not having to worry, and I typically use 60-70 gigs a month on just my phone I get my money's worth.

Maybe we should all jump ship to Verizon or AT&T. Oh wait, there is no development on either because you can't even root their Note 4's...

I was also curious about this, I'm not too familiar with the whole developer side of android, so I'm learning!
When the official lollipop version is released for the Note 4, will we see more ROMs being developed?, and higher quality? Or should I expect things to stay about the same?
I've really really enjoyed several ROMs I've tested, I'm just curious what to expect once the official Lollipop TW is released.
Good things come to those who wait
Someone on the Hybrid page said they went back to stock and are currently downloading Lollipop. Posted screen shots too, won't be that much longer if this is actually the case. I would assume there will be a lot more action soon, or else the roms that are being made will be the best and there will be no need for a ton of different ones.

Lolipop is out now for us
And now its eerily quiet out here now... Everyone must be trying to make the best Lollipop ROM! And trying to fix the bugs.
I know which ROM my money is on.

This was exactly the reason for the hault in production in KK roms. At least it was for me. No point wasting time on a soon-to-be out of date build. And to sum up the OP's initial post... for anyone who is not happy with the lack of roms for your phone, then there are options for you. You can learn to build your own roms and you can also donate to developers to support and encourage then to continue buildg roms for free. The only reason i started building roms for the Note 4 was because there was really not many if any devs building roms for us sprint users. I made the choice to get off my @$$ and do something about it instead of crying and making posts about it. FYI to anyone not aware... building roms takes a LOT of work and a lot of time. Take that for what it's worth. I would love to sit on my @$$ and wait for awesome roms to come out and not have to build them myself!!! That's the sweet life!!! to those of you who have shown your support and respect to the few devs here in the Sprint note 4 forums, we ALL Thank You!!!
