Onandroid makes nandroid compatible backups without the need to reboot to recovery.
Since today it supports the captivate glide.

seems like good tool and should be include in a custom rom like literom and our build of CM9/10
Be even better if it could back it up to dropbox, box, skydrive, google too!

This is good news that Online Nandroid has reached Glide forums before I arrived here.
I have recently bought the Glide and am fiddling with it. Be sure to report if you have any issues with Online Nandroid. Since I own a Glide, you would have a better chance of getting it fixed.
Sounds good but can you add our phone to your supported phones list https://github.com/ameer1234567890/OnlineNandroid/wiki/Supported-Devices
Our device is commonly known as Samsung Captivate Glide SGHi927. Is Onandroid on the Android Marketplace?
Thank you

Easiest way is to flash the zip file via CWM recovery. You can, however, manually copy the "partlayout4nandroid" file to /system and chmod to 755.
Regarding the question about Play Store, the script itself is not in the Play Store, but atlest 2 apps based on the script are there, which have additional functionality in addition to a nice GUI.

No.
It's just quicker to have a script nuke them all, but, with TiBu, you could make a backup BEFORE nuking.

Or run NostalgiaTurboSlim script (in my sig). It removes all nonessential apps.
Or just disable the AT&T apps and forget about rooting and ROMs. It's built-in to ICS.
Disable not the same as un-install. That will remove them from the apps list, and un install any updates.

There's a thread in this forum with different versions. It seems that there's no one suitable for all, that's why I suggested you different versions to choose
The app uses one apk on all devices .. Some user reports that it is working on s4.
Look at the comments and ratings on play store.
I read the information a few times but now I still not understand what exactly this app is used for? Just install/uninstall AOSP browser?

I'm a little confused, too. Why does it require root to install an app? Does it install it as a system app or something? Maybe something is lost in translation? Your English is very good, but a few things were a little confusing.
By the way, very thoughtful to make an ad version and a non ad version! I think that's a great idea. If people like your work, they can choose to support it.

Root is required because some system apps in nexus devices blocks the installation.
And yes the aosp browser will be installed as system app.

Hello everyone,
Lately, I've flashed the CyanogenMod 10.2 and I'm quite happy with that one.
But, I wonder how to configure the multiple accounts fonctionnality, as it is supported by Android 4.3. If this is not yet implemented on CM 10.2, is it planned to be in the future ?
Then last question, is Titanium Backup totally forbidden, as some of my games have only local saves (so far, I had a 4.1 ROM), and I wonder if I cannot follow that procedure :
- install every apps from the Play store ;
- restore the data with Titanium Backup.
Thank you in advance for your answers.

Concerning TB u can use it of course if u don't restore any system data. I used it for several 4.3 roms and I had no problem at all.
Be sure to not restore incompatible apps that may return an unstable system.
About multi-users go to Settings > Users > Create one more account. (available on PAC rom)
You can use titanium backup to restore apps with data and it won't restore system data just make sure you do good with settings. As for multi-users go to Settings > Users > add an account

OK. Well, I've tried with Devil Kernel, but what fixed the issue was... formatting the external card on recovery mode. Finally tasted PA rom, but left it after all of my internal data cleared away. Went back on CM 10.2.
Also, anyone knows about a good add-remover app ? I had adfree that worked like a charm on a previous rom, but I wonder if there is a better app.

Now, I have an other issue. I changed the carrier yesterday (from Bouygues Télécom to SFR) and I am blocked by the simlock of the phone, that I bought (for the first time) from my carrier some months ago. Is there a hidden menu in CM10.2 that will allow me to unlock my device? Thanks again.

So how if I flash this one in a repartitioned system? Would it make a difference? A bit snappier maybe? Hope the everest could come

this is true haha!
there would be no point in flashing this if you have upgraded to the new system partition. This has some things cut out and won't be able to support full gapps.
This is mainly for people who can't/won't upgrade to bigPart due to any reason.
Gapps, I'm looking at tonight tomorrow, it'll probably be a very minimal package with just play store and a few other things, everything else can go on /data
there wouldn't be any difference in performance between this and the bigPart version

Thank you so much matt4321, your rom rocks for those who don't want to modify patitions (installed on mine since the 4th of Feb.).
I had also this problem with Android (AOSP) keyboard because i switched to French but I disabled this embedded keyboard and I simply did an adb install googlekeyboard.apk. That was enough to get rid of this little issue. But for sure I could have add missing components too .
I took also email.apk and exchange2.apk from Omnirom image laugh and push them through adb too. Works really well.
My MZ604 is running fine and I use it everyday at work !
Tested : HDMI on tv, otg cable + usb\hdd, camera front\rear, wifi, streaming from my synology, videos, books. All ok.
Now, I don't get why people are using bigpart!!!
