Hi,
i had a HTC One X with a broken glas and LCD. So i ordered a new LCD + Digitizer . The first time i start the device everything was ok. Touchscreen and LCD were working perfectly. Suddenly the device went into blackscreen. Since that the screen isn`t working. I checked all connection. Everything looks normal. Perhaps someone can help me what to do now Thanks

Hi,
My HOX touchscreen was broken, the touch and everything was still working. I ordered a replacement lcd display Unit and replaced the complete display and touch. After replacement the screen is completely black but the phone still works. The touch buttons on the bottom still work and i can use the volume buttons. I replaced the lcd display unit very carefully and i am sure nothing is broken etc. So the touch is working but the screen is black. I tried 2 display units and both show me a black screen.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Did i forget to do something during the replacement?
Please, i need some help with this issue.

Yes, it seems that the display units from HOX are not all the same. You have to check with display flex you have and compare it with the one you have new. I tried an other display unit and it worked for me.
Now i have the same problem for my friends HTC One X. Were looking now for the right display unit..

Ive swapped a few screens over on the one x and x+, I find the screens don't show anything until the phone is soft reset by holding down the power and volume up button for around 10 seconds (until the lights flash several times and then the phone vibrates before booting).
I have also found that the motherboards do accept displays manufactured by different companies (sharp, sony, AUO.. etc) the soft reset is a required step. If an identical lcd is used there is no need to reset.

Hi guys, i have a HTC Desire (GSM, SLCD) and a few weeks ago my glass panel broke. I bought a new one, and followed a guide to install it, and now my screen doesn't work. (The LCD isnt working.) Touch works fine though. i can enter my pattern, but i can't see anything at all. Replacing the old digitizer doesn't fix the problem.
Really odd, because i was really careful whilst replacing the part, and the display worked fine this morning.
This is probably a hardware problem, but i figured i post it here, maybe someone here had the same problem.
If the display was working before it must be something that you did wrong during the install of digitizer.
Hi all,
i replaced my digitizer about a half year ago.
after a few months the screen started to live its own life.
a bar on the middle of the screen wasn't responsive.
and it started to make touch gestures from itself.
a few days back the screen died. it does not respond anymore to anything.
so i bought a new digitizer and installed it. cleaned al the contacts with some alcohol.
but after connecting the new digitizer i noticed this screen does not respond either.
i booted to recovery but also in the teamwin the touchscreen does not work.
is there anything i can do or is my phone dead?

Hi, I've change the digitizer in my Htc one x, and it's working only a half way. Screen turns on but toutch screen is not working at all. Is it the calibration thing or digitizer is broken. Thx for all replies.

I have this HTC one x which needed a digitiser replacement as no touch would register. LCD was ok but decided to get a new lcd+ digitiser. I have replaced the screen and the LCD is working fine but the digitiser is still not working. iv checked the cables none are broken and the connector for the digitiser on the booard looks ok too.
Any ideas what im doing wrong or is it a board problem? everything else works fine its just the digitiser

Guessing you have tried factory reset / re flashed the correct boot.img?
trying that now but im on win 8.1 in bootloader i have drivers installed bt no access to fastboot or adb. but when i boot into os i have adb and im pushing rom.zip as PJ46IMG.zip and see if that works
right got it working but seems i have to put presssure on screen above the digi connector when i let go it stops again
iv jus realised that i put pressure on the top right of the screen to get digitiser working but connecter is on left side so now im stumped not sure whats wrong with it
any ideas anyone?
It could be you got a digitizer that has issues. I got one myself once, had to put pressure on top left hand corner to get bottom left hand side to register. In the end I sent it back for a replacement, and the replacement worked fine. If you go through the other steps posted above and check all the flex cables/connectors out and you still have problems, my money is on a faulty digitizer - it does happen occasionally.
