Apex Launcher Problem

Hey guys,
So when I downloaded the new update for Apex Launcher it keeps on crashing and it crashed ALL the system's apps
My friend has also an S2 and he downloded the same update from the same website, but it didn't do all the problems that happened to me.
I am running Resurrection Remix ICS V.2.4.1 same as my friend but the problem happened with me only !!!!!!!
Please help me, as now I can't retreive any of my apps and when i try to go to the settings to clear the apps cache, an application from NOWHERE crashes and I don't Know what to do

When you have made a backup you can restore it I suppose. You can try that and Reinstall Apex after that.

I tried but yet still for an unknown reason it keeps on doing the same thing with me over and over again. I should just stick to Nova Launcher instead, but thanks for the advice

Root explorer, delete original AL, and install updated one. Reboot and hit thanks button.

[Q][NeeD Help] The phone is so so slow....!!

Hello everybody,
I hope your fine..
Recently I am having a big problem with my phone ...whenever I open three programs or MORE. Let's say: Skype, im+ and whatsapp....or some heavy games like asphalt, when I return to home screen my home screen and the Widgets also reloads then the screen turns black and again and again until I reboot...
Is this normal or there is something wrong with the phone..?
I have stock value pack rom with only root.
And have too many apps.....
So is having too many apps causing the problem or its hardware problem....btw installed some startup manager and stopped the programs that I don't need to boot on start....please help coz I'm worried about my wonder.

Have you tried Supercharging your phone?

As I said my phone is rooted but have no busy box.....so I can't supercharge it...

Download a busybox installer form play store

You mean you have a problem supercharging it? Didn't you read the post carefully?

Maybe ur system storage and phone memory are full.
Try to delete some apps.

Thank you for your time....but I am not asking how to supercharge my phone I am asking is what happening is normal....????
And btw I can't install busybox from busybox installer...

As far as I know on stock ROM without supercharge, its normal for launcher redraws(lag) especially when running lots of apps.My advice is If you dont't want to run the supercharger then you need to clear the memory often either using the stock task manger or 3rd party app. However, this effect is much less on CM9 and I actually don't use V6 script on CM9.

use the "BusyBox" app.. recommended cause it made by the team who made BusyBox too..

What happens to your phone is normal. If you use too many apps you have too many background process that slow down the cpu.
Supercharge your phone is a smart answer and a perfect solution for you problem.
Had u check if u are really rooted (the busybox problem)?
Try with "root checker" in play store.

And thank you for your useful information ,anyway I decided to install remics rom ...and things went very well....but might revert back to stock however, any body know how to import system apps from the stock rom or from other Samsung s3 device..?
Coz the messenging and the contacts app and many other apps I don't like it....

use Root Explorer.. mount as R/O (Read Only) on /system/app/ put the apk app format there.. reboot.. but it may not works because the system different

don't simply add v6 supercharger or other tweaks into cm9, unless u know what u are doing..
I'm more prefer stock cm9 feel lolx

1. Download it
2. Open it with ES File Explorer

And now the problem comes : You cannot use your viber account on your phone and oon your N7 / tablet , so you will have to send the validation code ( or something like that ) to another phone number ( *YOUR CHOICE* )

And you are ready . I use it for more than 2 days and it runs perfectly smooth . Take a look at it .

I have viber on the phone. I did not know that. Maybe you can update op for newb user like me. Used my other phone and it works.:beer:

Or you can use your titanium backup file.. just restore it on your N7.. works for whatsapp also...

Google viber apk.
Or if you have an android phone than download it from play store.
With ESFileExplorer send it to your gmail. Open gmail on Nexus and install it.

I was using viber for a long time untill yesteday Itried to upgrade it to the latest version (2.3.0.694) via Blackmart. after that I couldn't open it any more and it just gave error "unfortunately, viber has stopped". I've uninstalled it, and after that I cannot install it again. I tried play store some other markets and apk file and it can't install it. even I tried prevoius version apk file (that used to work just fine) but it cannot be installed either.
what should I do? is there any cache or something that prevents it to be installed?

viber on nexus 7
i've installed viber on my nexus 7 but it says service disconnected ... what should i do ?

A restart should fix your problem. It'll clear any leftover data and allow you to reinstall.

[MOD] Reign of Amira - Working on Nexus 7

I take no credit for the mod, I just found the apk and obb file and uploaded it to my dropbox account. If the game crashes back to the homescreen skip the cut scene as possible. Just unzip the file, install the apk, then move the folder into android/obb then start the game. It should work on other devices as well.

You have to skip it as soon as it starts, try clearing up a bunch of RAM prior to starting the game.

Fix Out of Space Error (New trick)

I know Fixing out of space error is most asked one but i tried the methods floating in xda...none of these works for me...
Method i tried:::
1)wiping cache & delvik cache in recovery
2)manually wiping cache
3)deleting "data/apps dedexed & odex" related file...
but no luck...
finally i found a way to fix this problem on my Nexus 4, that's selecting app install location 'auto' which i changed to 'SD'...

Coz i cant seem to find it...
I had this problem long time ago, but i remove data/data/(app folder associated) and fixed it.

Just curious why in the love of god i use link2sd in my nexus 4 where there is no external mmc available?
Why u use link2sd on ur nexus 4? Whats the use?

I think op is referring to the amount of space left error. After flashing a new update some users had 6gb or 8gb left while the devices were actually 16gb.
