Hey guys,
So when I downloaded the new update for Apex Launcher it keeps on crashing and it crashed ALL the system's apps
My friend has also an S2 and he downloded the same update from the same website, but it didn't do all the problems that happened to me.
I am running Resurrection Remix ICS V.2.4.1 same as my friend but the problem happened with me only !!!!!!!
Please help me, as now I can't retreive any of my apps and when i try to go to the settings to clear the apps cache, an application from NOWHERE crashes and I don't Know what to do
When you have made a backup you can restore it I suppose. You can try that and Reinstall Apex after that.

I tried but yet still for an unknown reason it keeps on doing the same thing with me over and over again. I should just stick to Nova Launcher instead, but thanks for the advice

Hey.
My Market doesn't show up on my appdrawer. I checked trough Root Explorer and Vending.apk is there.
What can i do?
wipe cache!
<MOD MESSAGE - Lets keep the forum clean!>
I already did that, smart guy
It didn't help.
This is an english forum so please talk english and don't try to offend me by calling me an "opfer"(=victim -german).
Perhaps you can try uninstalling Market and then reinstalling it using AppAsst or similar apps.
Same happened to my brothers sgs, first we tried clearing cache, didnt work. But factory reset solved the problem.

Hi people I was trying to install the trebuchet launcher on stock T-Mobile ICS and every time I chose a widget it froze to a hard reboot level, I am not using ADB. Just wondering has anybody tried this yet? I want to change the look and Trebuchet for me is the best so far. Thanks in advance
Yes i did. You have to make it system app. I made it via titanium back up.

Yes you need a root even to use titanium backup app.
iCS will not allow you to resize widgets unless they are on system launcher.
Open titanium backup ; on backup and restore find tribuchet and long press it to open option dialouge box and then press on make it system app.
You can do from root explorer also but idk how to do that .

I'll be more than happy just by having the Trebuchet launcher along with the stock ICS battery icon... Btw what trebuchet version did you used is there a specific one.
I'd also be curious in how to replace Touchwiz with Trebuchet. I looked in Titanium Backup and was able to find TwLauncher 4.0.3-TLLE4 but I'm unsure as to where to download Trebuchet from. Can anyone help out?

yes . Dont remove touch wiz all samsung roms are based on that , if you remove it you might get system problems . You can keep both and use trebuchet as default. I am using version 0.1

DL the CM9 ROM,extract it.
Go to system/app,the find trebuchet and install it.However, you still will end up rebooting if trying to add a widget. For me,golauncher is working well with stock, and widgets.
I also installed the desk clock, mms apk,the launcher from the cm9.
As well as gallery2.just simple as installing apk's.

Hi, thanks for reading...
I have two problems that I think are related to the stock launcher:
One of the desks of the launcher shows a black shadow instead of a green shadow whenever I try to put a widget or icon in that place. I can't put anything there and it's a full row.
The Music Player Widget cannot be added because the launcher says "Widget already added" over and over.
I already have tried clering the data from the launcher; even tried factory reset but didn't work.
Note: I'm using a brand new Xperia Play with 2.3.3 and .145 stock ROM, not rooted. Everything is like new, but I have these issues.
Any help would be aprecciated. Thanks in advance...
Thats an odd problem never heard of it before... Why don't you try this... Get the Xperia s launcher from themes and apps section and install that...it will ask u to replace system app just say ok...it might work give it a try

The same... This is the apk from my Galaxy Nexus, 1.0.0, not compatible.
So I redownloaded it from Gameloft wapshop, optimized for Nexus 7 (1.0.2), but when I launched the apk : "insufficient memory"
BUT there is 11Gb free & 10 apps installed...
Why ? :fingers-crossed:

I installed this on a AOSP JB Rom and it's working fine. I don't know whether it'll work on lower ROMs than 4.1, input appreciated.
Doesn't work on gingerbread. Still a nice share. Can you upload some screenshots? How much ram the launcher consumes? Does it run smooth?

It is moderately smooth, not as smooth as Nova Launcher though. Not much in the way of customisation for now. Good thing is you have some kind of Google Now. The voice search does not work for some reason but a fix should be underway soon. Btw, ROM I am running is AOSP JB RC2 by Maclaw. The smoothest JB ROM in my opinion.
I can't tell the RAM usage as it does not show up in Running processes though Google Search will run. Btw, you have to enable Google Now from settings. You access when you swipe to the left. It functions like the Blinkfeed on HTC One
On CM10.1.6 I installed all three apps and I have notice: 'PLACEHOLDER TEXT: Google Search not found.' but after reboot launcher works
Working for me too
I've got only one problem...after installing all the 3 apk, the stock sms apk does not work anymore...it doesn't open at all...did it happened to you too?
Edit.: solved by installing Hangout..maybe this will be useful if someone else will have the same problem
