Not able to root spice mi-415

Hello,
Can anybody help me rooting this spice mi-415 device. Because i can find no thread relating to it about this mobile.

download the software from here unlockroot.com and then download the drivers from the spice official website for the spice mi 415. install the drivers on pc and then run the software and click on root button. it will detect your cell phone select it and then the mobile will be rooted automatically.
Does your mobile heat up frequently??

Have u downloaded The drivers of the phone from spice website and installed it before connecting the device? and enable usb debugging when the software unlock root prompts you to.
Well i faced a frequent heating problem with my cell so sent it back to the service centre. They said that there is a new stock of mi-415 which does not have a heating problem and they would give me that one.
If you are unable to root the device wait till i get my one back then i'll guide you a step by step procedure.

Root Spice Mi-415
Here is the procedure to root Spice mi-415:
Requirements:
The driver files are inbuilt in internal memory of phone, When you connect the phone to PC, auto-play prompts CD drive android install, If click the .exe file it will install the necessary drivers.
Superoneclick-shortfuse file and extract the to specified folder.
Enable debugging mode Settings->Applications->developement->tick debugging mode.
Procedure:
1. connect the phone to PC,
2.Install the Drivers downloaded.
3.run superoneclick.exe file
4.click root button
5.If it prompts to install drivers click yes.
6. click proceed anyway if security alerts you.
7.After rooting is over it display success.
8.Disconnect your phone.
Now your phone have root access.

I just removed the unwanted built in apps, Now mobile have a lot of free memory and lag free, I am trying to port CWM for this mobile and trying to cook a new custom ROM..

Hey thanks for posting the rooting procedure. And good luck with the development. Keep us updated.
I think the cwm of spice mi-425 would work with our mobile bcz all specs are same except the ram.

I still didnt get mine!

swaptk - after rooting i installed beatsaudio and that removes my phone sound ,after that i submitted in care , Its about 2-3 weeks they again replaced my set but dont know when,, totally rubbish services and also sets quality ,
if anybody wants original rom i have it , i taken it from care

satz i didnt get my cell till date.
They said i would get it by next week.
Well abt games temple was running fime on my cell bt heated up too much.
And tell me weather ur second sim gets off when there is 3g net active on 1st sim? Bcz i had that problem

Hello! First of all Im new to the forums! I want to say that his is really great and awesome forums, people helping each other and developing awesome apps and what not, so Im happy to register here.
Now to ask you very important question me, how to root my phone.
First of all I bought my phone about 3 months ago, and I saw that rooting the phone grants awesome stuff, also Im new to all this Android stuff so yeah. Main reason of rooting is because my phones internal memory being now 1gb free, and since I have memory card which has about 10gb now free. I want to play big games on my phone, such as GTA Vice city 10th anniversary, but I cant because my internal space is less then required for vice city, which is 1.38gb or something like that. I can find all directory binding apps I need, but problem is I need to know how to root my phone. Yes my phone has 2 year warranty and I know that rooting the phone, kills warranty.
Now about specs, today I connected my phone to PC, and Samsung Kies said that theres update available, so I udated my phone.

Android version: 2.3.6

You can use odin to flash rom/firmware files in your windows pc...
You can use pre-rooted rom files if u dont have linux...
Search them here..
And also you are very welcome.. Just wanted to help im also new to this android thingy and u can learn fast at xda with the help of our fellow members.

Just the modem and bloatware will be different.. however I think you can also flash your country's stock rom when it reaches ur country.. it wont raise your knox counter to 1

You can flash any rom from any country just make sure you have the correct phone model number.

- because I need it to be stock in order to get my business mails,
- because I understood I did not need it really... what for ? I can install all of the apps I want, I can develop my own apps with AIDE
- because I don't need my device to be running on a custom ROM as stock Samsung ROM already contains all options I need
...
So yes, I still would like to install this new 4.3 SAMMY's ROM, which I am waiting for so long...
However, I share your disappointment, regarding you needs and wishes

Yes. Hongkong 4.3 has been reported as the most stable for 4.3.
U can try it. Just remember that KNoX thing won't allow u to revert back to 4.1.2

You can ofcourse revert back to 4.1.2 or any other version - you will just loose the ability to run KNOX ever again.

Even if I didn't care for a custom Rom, I would want to be rooted, in order to use truly battery-saving apps, add-killing apps, kill some useless system bloatware, use a more efficient kernel, use a firewall to prevent many apps to connect to the internet against my will (and sending whatever data to whatever server without me knowing what they are sending behind my back),...

[GUIDE] [Root] Lenovo A680 (ROW)

Hi all, i've just purchased this new Lenovo A680 (ROW). I live in Malaysia.
And its not all that original. Its probably one of those china made.
So here's how i got it rooted. You can also share how you got it rooted if you have any way other than mine.
Download rooting app -> http://www.mgyun.com/vroot
(Yes its a chinese website and app. Who else to do it better than their own people right ? (No racism intended)
There is an english version to this app, DON'T USE IT. Only the chinese version installs the Kinguser app needed (You'll know why later)
Nope, i didn't download any drivers app.
ON your phone, turn on USB Debugging. (Go to Settings->Developer options)
If you don't see developer options, go to Settings->About Device-> and tap on Build number more than once
Do NOT do this with the phone turned off.
Tested on Windows 7
Device Lenovo A680 (ROW)
Baseband A680.V13.P8, 2013/11/01 09:01
Build number A680_S316_140108
1) Open the app on your computer, let it do its 'LOADING' and stuff
2) Connect USB cable and let windows install the appropriate drivers.
3) Once that's done, the app will show a small green box on the bottom right and it'll say 'connect'
4) Click on that, and let the app do its magic.
5) Once done, the phone will reboot and you can disconnect the USB cable now.
Once the phone reboots, you should see a new app in your phone named ' Kinguser'. This means the phone is now rooted.
Now for those who want to replace this app with SuperSu, go ahead and try installing it from the play store.
Based on my experience, it doesn't update the binaries as its supposed to.
So im using the app installed, and disabled all the other funny apps in the phone using Link2SD app.
So far i haven't come upon a CWM or TWRP for this model.
Customizing the phone is up to you, and if you'd like to do so you might wanna check out Rom Toolbox from the play store by JRummy.
Now many people say VROOT takes your phones IMEI and uses it for their own use.
I personally think that doesn't happen and this app just uses automated adb scripts and whatever.
I use VROOT to root my Samsung Galaxy Ace 3, Lenovo A680, Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy Ace, and so much more.
Let me know if i've made a mistake here.

No custom ROM
And I can't really make one myself as not much of a developer myself. Maybe a hero will come to save us soon :'D

Thanks. Finally i rooted my phone, many file i've installed on the phone. But there's one problem, i hard reset (format) the phone. After i formatted the phone, it keepss rebooting every 1 minute. Do you know where to find fresh stock rom for this phone? i really need it :'(

1) Reboot into recovery and wipe data and cache

Well my friend, as i said earlier, i've never tried this before. And in no right mind would i wanna jeopardize my phone in trying it.
I do suggest tho you try this method using a Windows 7 pc or laptop, and get your drivers downloaded properly.

I found a cwm recovery for lenovo a680 but can someone test this? [Root][TWRP][Custom Rom] ZTE Blade L5 Plus

Hello guys,
i recently bought a ZTE Blade L5 Plus and searched the whole web for this files. After nearly 2 days of intense research i found all the files needed to root the device and setup the TWRP.
I even found a version of the Resurection Rom which runs pretty stable on this device.
I'll upload all the files needed as an .zip on Mega.

Did you found the stock firmware?
I have this phone.. I rooted with iroot (king root) but I don't trust in this app.
I want to install twrp and then install supersu, but I don't have the firmware stock for restore in case of brick.
Can I trust in this method to install twrp? And then backup my rom?
Edit: I read the instructions. The Stock rom is in the zip.

This method is pretty save i used it by myself and had no problems with it. Just read the instruction and everything should be safe.

Mmm... Reading the specs of blade l5 plus, my phone have two differences,my phone have a 13 mpx camera. In the specs 8 mpx.
My phone is single sim. In the specs says dual sim.
Would these details makes a problem? I don't know. :s
How many mpx have your camera? Is dual sim your phone?

My phone has a 8,3 mpx cam on back and a 2,4 on the front.
But pls tell me the name of your phone.

Hmm. I think it could work. But i must say that i CAN NOT promise u anything.
If u have root on your device download the flashfire app from the playstore. With this app its possible to create a full backup of your phone without the need of booting in your recovery. Copy the backup to your pc.
If just want to change the root app on your phone. You only have to download the "SuperSu Me" and the "SuperSu" app on your phone.
"SuperSu Me" removes kingroot from your phone without the loss of your rootrights.
I hope this two options where helpful. If so pls hut that thanks button. It wont hurt. I promise. :b

I would evaluate SuperSU me or install twrp then flash supersu. But... First I need backup the rom. (with mtk tools doesn't work)..

With flashfire you can also flash the recovery on your phone.

At first very thankful greetings from the other side of Austria . I just ordered a new ZTE Blade L5 Plus (Dual SIM ) and thanks to your instructions I'm confident to make it useful for my purposes (root, custom rom, ...).
Unfortunately(??!) I'm not using any Windows machines anymore but still like to get free access to my phone. So my question to you is:
is it possible to manage the process to get a custom recovery on the phone (TWRP or clockwork?!) using linux tools? Can you help me out with this or at least give me some advice to search for a solution?

Unfortunately(??!) I'm not using any Windows machines anymore but still like to get free access to my phone. So my question to you is:
is it possible to manage the process to get a custom recovery on the phone (TWRP or clockwork?!) using linux tools? Can you help me out with this or at least give me some advice to search for a solution?

I have to say that i never used Linux™ or any other OS before so its pretty difficult for me to offer you or anyone else with another OS than Windows™ a "safe" method for this. At the moment the only way i could think of which also could be working is flashing i via ADB Sideload but i'm not sure if it works without root (Please correct me if i'm wrong. "What i actually hope for you")
If this method isn't working for you, i can offer you my help in finding a way over Google™ and other Searchmachines. :silly:
You can search for yourself if im not fast enough for you with the Keywords:
Flashing custom rom...
...on mtk devices...
...on china phones...
...with linux...
...via adb...
Program for flashing...
...on a ZTE...
...custom recovery...
...TWRP or Clockwork Recovery...
...via linux...
and many more you know the drill.

Theres another mirror ? mega sucks, I have 2 days trying to download the file because files bigger than 1 gb need an account to download, and the free account have limits before 1 gb

Just download the package all u need is in there, if u worry about the time it takes to download this "big" file, u can use Mega Downloader.
This program uses a pro account to get the full download speed etc.
But i have to say that i'm not sure about the legality of this program. Think about this before u use it!
