Market (v3.1.3) apk here
Please see my earlier post on CM7-Jordan thread for details:

Enjoy!
It's awesome.
how to remove Verizon tile
Workaround for the Verizon-Tab:
Delete the Market-Update
Edit this line in build.prop:
ro.com.google.clientidbase=android-verizon
to this
ro.com.google.clientidbase=android-google
Then restart the phone, open the market, close it and wait until it's updated and the verizon tab is gone

its a bit slow, but looks nice, and i like the pin-protection.
Just tried the new market today, although it looks really good, is not good at all with slow connections.
I have used all my data plan so I'm stuck with 64 kbps internet until the end of the month, and every time I open the new market it only says "connection timed out".
It does work on WiFi.
Internet is indeed working and the old market works fine.

You need a good connection just because it shows more content and more thumbnails/icons than the old market.
Well, the beauty of this version 3.1.3 is that you only need to install the apk to get the Market updated to pretty much a better version than the one currently available through official means. [PIN protection on checkouts, search history cleaning].
And in case you don't like it or that you want to go back to the older version [even if it is just temporary like in your situation where data plan ran out], then you can simply go under 'manage applications' and uninstall it.
Keep the apk handy on your SD card and you can re-install it quickly at any time.
Again: there is no need to have a rooted phone to use it and it is a much easier update than to flash a gapps.zip in recovery...

Glad you liked it.
"Thanks" button clicks are welcomed
Hm... I received the updated one automatically earlier before I reflashed a nightly and now I'm stuck with the previous stable gapps version one.
Do you know when people will get it OTA?

Same here: it is supposed to update automatically to a very similar version; [maybe with a few of the options mentioned above not included though].
I mean after you flash the June 13th gapps.zip.
But for some reason, it doesn't always do the update [but being in China, this doesn't surprise me too much...] and that's also why this apk is useful to me...

Strange this as the new version installed automatically for me (after I changed the build.prop to delete the "verizon" name, then cleared market data & rebooted).
I then installed the latest nightly & June 13th gapps as I always do when flashing a nightly, cleared cache, wipe dalvik, wipe bat stats & after reboot the new market was still there
Anyhow the new market is fine for me, I quite like it & wasn't expecting to as I tried the leaked version some time ago & that was laggy.
Latest version is not as quick as the old one but does have a couple of new features so is OK for me.
Just a heads up....
I know Dolphin HD + flash is a popular combo for many on this forum.
I just updated to latest HD and when first opened it tells you Flash is not supported in Android 4.1 since it will crash the browser and thus has been deactivated. Went to settings and could not reactivate it.
I had to do a restore of all of my apps and was able get back to Dolphin HD 8.5.1 which is the last version Flash was enabled.
Perhaps someone will hack 8.6 to enable Flash in future. For now, don't update to 8.6
I've switched to Aurora and AOSP Browser for now. No idea what Dolphin devs are thinking. Way to completely lose your user base.

Works great thanks
Starting from 4.1 Android does not support flash. Kind of a shame if you ask me. Hope HTML5 takes off for more interactive web content on mobile.

Android supports it just fine if you sideload the .apk. Play Store is what doesn't support Flash on 4.1.
While i realize that adobe discontinued flash for android devices, is there anyway to get it working on 4.1.2? i downloaded the latest 11.1 .apk but i'm having trouble using it with chrome, default browser, and boat. All i get is the box with a ? on it. thanks

The problem is that Google Chrome (but not Chromium, the basis, and almost an exact replica of Chrome) comes with it's own Flash plugin. I don't know if that stops it from using other plugins, but im guessing so, unless you edit the plugin path.
You can also check this tutorial How to install flash on android devices, you woud find latest .apk version there
Try Firefox...it works great with Flash
Hi
I recently had an update to my Nexus 7 (Original Version) and since then it seems very slow to boot up and when I log in with my password the virtual keyboard seems to change between numeric and script by itself.
The problem only seems to be at login and seems to require a waiting period between switching to numerical/script on the keyboard. The keyboard seems to work OK once the Nexus is in use.
Does anyone else have this problem since updating to Android Version 4.3?
My device isn't rooted.

Why you post here if you said that you have the Original Nexus 7? You should ask here:

I too was on CM12 and had the same issue. I suggest you to switch on [5.0.2] [DUAL-SIM] Resurrection Remix ® Lollipop. You will find no problem. Even the updates are frequently updated. Nice Rom and everything is working fine. You just gonna love it.
Don't forget to hit Thanks (Like)

Thanks for the reply... But I don't think it will resolve the problem as I face this problem from cm11, rr Kitkat, cm12 all rom's even in Stock... Don't know why... But temporary solution to this is only wiping data...

You can use apps like Clean Master (Which delete the junk files) and Greenify (Which hibernate the running apps). Hope these apps will help you.
I have the same problem also. even when the device is at stock 4.2.2 its still laggy. i flashed touchwiz revolution v9 nothings changed.. :crying:
EDIT: I disabled Power Saving Mode and it lessens the lag.

Well, I experienced this kind of issue too. Now I have the 4.2.2 Original firmware and did some changes that made some difference. I went to Application manager > Downloaded and deactivated (or tried to) some of samsungs' bloatware, like samsung push, chaton, and some apps from google that I dont use, like google videos, google books, etc.
Well, this is not enough to prevent them to reinstall. You need to enter Play Store, select those apps, and uncheck auto-update (three dots at the right up corner).
Before I did this, a clear RAM never lower below 605 or 610 MB out of 804MB. After, a clear RAM reach as low as 395 MB out of 804 MB and my device got a little bit less laggy.
Maybe there are other apps that we can do such procedure.

yo kababayan, haha. i revert back to stock rom from cm12 bcoz of lag and some unstable features, i flashed the latest update NOV 2014 firmware from sammobile and its much faster now, i just disabled bloatwares and the features of stock rom is much more stable than cm12 though i understand its an alpha.

there's no lag on me, its smooth. the nov 2014 update was improved stability. so now its smooth.
my advice is disable unwanted or unused apps like, samsung app, samsung link, samsung account, chat on, all that is related to samsung app. i know girls download apps alot, my gf does, but she has an iphone so not a problem, and also download clean master for freeing ram, and greenify to save battery. :good::good::good:

I follow this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2639894
Then Search how to flash thru odin, remember, after flashing thru odin your phone will going to bootloop, dont turn off, just hold vol up + home + power, wipe data and wipe cache then reboot. Done. The triangleAway.apk is safe, it didnt brick my phone.

Well every ROM or mobile starts getting laggy after some time and to remove that u can try reflashing the device as it removes all the OLD data fies that are not deleted by any cleaning softwares and that I have tried and am sure will remove the lag for again some time, but yeah if ur phone is older than 2 Years sometimes even this might not work as your processor gets old and hence gets slow with time....
Hit thanks if it helped
