That depends on whether there's kernel supporting this feature. Do you know of one?
I don't think it's possible to change vibration intensity on the HOX

Don't think I do. I assumed it was a feature on all kernels but was not configurable because of lack of demand. I distinctly remember going from sense rom to cm10 and noticing a large increase in vibration intensity from the capacitive buttons. I figured that since it is not configurable within android then it must be a feature within the kernel.
New version has been pushed to PlayStore. You're gonna receive the update soon.

Bug report: Does not save settings for reboot
I use cm10.1 b8 with xm kernel #167 and it does not restore any settings after reboot even if I choose it to do so. And yes...I donated.

Did you only apply the settings (top right corner) or did you also set on boot in menu? Applying the settings doesn't survive a reboot, only set on boot in menu does
It works perfectly for me on ViperX 3.3.7 with XM kernel #167.

Read the FAQ about set-on-boot.
https://trickstermod.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/118579-faqs
If you still have problem, do a in-app bug report feature.
In your case, if you're still on Superuser then switch to SuperSU and try again, 95% set on boot problem can be fixed by doing this.

Please read that before you continue here
Reason for this new thread is that I have taken over from Llor to maintain
those builds now.
CM10 Issues thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1821783
BOOT IMAGE IS IN THE ZIP
So extract boot.img from the zip BEFORE flashing the ROM and
flash it using fastboot or AIO
This is HELLBOY 201212011716
If there are any kernel updates needed "asynchron" to the ROM updates
I will write this here. So DONT use a different kernel by default
Download:
http://goo.im/devs/maxwen/CM10-primou
Or use GooManager app (you need to have 20121111 build installed)
gapps 20121011
http://www.mediafire.com/?k2cb1trw8s2oio2
Konwn issues - only what I can reproduce:
-panorama mode artifacts
-Continious-AF in video mode dont work very well
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ChangeLog 2012/12/08:
-removed camera animation - I am tiered of beeing asked about it
-added sys.keep_apps=com.android.mms,com.android.contacts by default
-fix for VOIP/SIP microphone mute
-updated to latest CM10 sources
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ChangeLog 2012/11/28:
-fixed graphical glitch that happens sometimes - e.g. after booting
-added sys.keep_apps property support to keep apps in memory
this should hopefully solve the dreaded "loosing" mms problem.
But I would keep SMS Ghost installed for now just to make sure
To use it add a line to you build.props e.g.
Code:
sys.keep_apps=com.android.mms,com.android.contacts
or for a single app only
Code:
sys.keep_apps=com.android.mms
Requires reboot!
Please keep in mind that flashing a new version will overwrite those changes
so you have to do it again afterwards
-added hwui blacklist support http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/19249/
see also here for more details http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2014099
To enable add the following line to your build.props
Code:
hwui.use.blacklist=true
AND you must use kernel 201211242348
Requires reboot!
Please keep in mind that flashing a new version will overwrite those changes
so you have to do it again afterwards
There is a new app HwsSettings where you can easily specifiy for which
apps it should be done http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1766576
-decreased screen turn on time
-updated to latest CM10 sources
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ChangeLog 2012/11/22:
-swap script added by default - if you dont want it delete it
-fixed color effect for video recording
-fixed thumbnail creation for videos
-fixed custom button backlight handling - please keep in
mind that our HW is not really capable of doing button backlight
dimming levels so actually there is only off=0 and on!=0
-screen OFF CRT animation - dont ask for on animation
-updated to latest CM10 sources
EDIT: use HELLBOY 201211231230 if you experience screen flickering
during unlock
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ChangeLog 2012/11/15:
-working zram (you need BOTH latest kernel AND latest ROM)
-(more) camera fixes
-updated to latest CM10 sources
Nice and first! Thanks for your work!
nice one maxwen. you pushed those patches for camera in? i didn't had the chance to try them..

I didn't have a software installed much, so I always full wiped and fresh install. All seem fine for me.
Btw, any threads from dev is best from their dev man kind. I love all threads here.
great job~! thank maxwen~
Now I'm on Llior's 4/11. Do I need to wipe data & everything before update to this 12/11/15 version? Or just simple update from cwm?
Bambalazs said:
What is the update method? Full wipe and flashing rom and gapps, or just flashing rom without wipe? Kernel is the latest hellboy, so I don't need to flash it.
Thank you.
Anyway this thread is better than the other one. :good:

I am a little bit nicer then Lloir in this case and will just ignore them

Sorry. It won't happen again.
The ROM is amazing. Everything works well.
Just one problem. (In Auto Brightness mode) When I go to Display - Automatic Backlight - Use Custom & Edit other levels. And when I change the Buttons values. Either to 0 or any other value. I see no change in the capacitive buttons.
Is it safe to restore data of cm9 backup using twrp? will it be fine? i dont wanna set my phone again to the way i like

Review of the ROM:
Speed: The ROM is very fast and has no lag issues, it's the fastest rom I've ever had!
Antutu score on normal settings (800 MHz) is 3765!
It only has google's apps (nothing from Samsung), so it's very lightweight!
RAM usage only 60-70 MB!
Battery: Simply great, I can easily get through the day with normal usage because it's so lightweight!
Bugs: None found so far, tell me if you find any
Recommended tweaks: "[MOD]Disable CPU rendering/Full GPU rendering/Improve the performance of your GPU" makes scrolling a little bit smoother
Tell me if you know more or better tweaks for this rom!
If you want something added in this list please tell me!

Yep i +1 with the extreme speed , to bad about not having so many options to play with but hey ... it is AOSP and it is Gingerbread after all
I checked it and I don't like it but for sure it's for this who like clean Android and I can say one, it's really fast and very light,
ps when ROM has no File manager how in other way we can install apk's?

// ETA RULES
There is an epic list about ETA rules you should read
HTCDreamOn said:
If he hasn't uploaded it yet, it means it's not ready to be uploaded
If he has uploaded it, then he's uploaded it
If he says he's going to upload it, if he hasn't uploaded it before then, then of course he hasn't uploaded it yet
If you ask him when it'll be uploaded, he'll tell you either the same time or a later time. NEVER earlier
read that again. He will NEVER upload it earlier if you ask him. Asking him when it will be uploaded does not make it arrive earlier
If it is uploaded earlier than he says, it's not because you asked him. Because he will upload it when it's ready which will not be just because you asked
who actually cares when it will be ready? He has given screenshots of it being compiled and screenshots of it running. It works. He won't forget.
It's a ROM for your phone, worry about other things
If you ask for ETAs, his upload speed will not magically increase
If you know when it'll be uploaded, how does this actually benefit you?
Read a book
Listen to some music
enjoy the ROM you've got
stop asking for ETAs
If he uploads it tonight then it'll be uploaded. If he doesn't then it won't
If he says no then it won't be. If he says yes then it will be the same as whatever ETA he gave before
Learn to code or something
Please stop asking for ETAs
aww man I've been forced to write a non development related post in a dev thread because ETA requests annoy me so much
aww man I forgot when development work was actually discussed in dev threads because of all the ETA requests

Update: I've tested this rom for less than a day. So far it's rom fairly smooth, not too many hiccups. I think I ran into a force close when I tried to change the wallpaper (no biggy). Keyboards work for me, wifi, sms, mms. So far so good.

The rom is pretty smooth and is faster than the PAC Rom 4.4.4 .
love the features !
Ram management is better than the CM11 !
Browser gives some problems but it fine .
Everything in the rom works except the kernel tweaker inside the settings when i open it the activity window starts and i can see the actionbar, and immediately it force closes after that .
I tested the following features :
-Hover
-Peek
-Halo
-Recent changer (all three of them works flawlessly)
although i cant seem to find the multiwindow option in settings .
great job man !! loving this rom !
Here are the screenshots for recents :
i know about kernel tweaker fc but we dont really need it since this kernel is pretty much stock(featureless)
multiwindow is activated automatically after reboot if halo isnt active
L7 version will come as port i dont have enough space to aource build it
You written that rom has Xposed inside, it means that I can't use ART?
yes ART will make bootloop xposed has to be downkloaded and installed its not pre-installed

Hi bkr32,
I downloaded rom, altered updater-script assert line from e612 to 610. Flashed rom and it booted to "choose language" screen, then the
setup network screen. After setting up my network, the "please wait" screen appears. A short while later I get a " setupwizard error which dumps me back to the choose language screen...
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
TIA,
Shabby.

I can't get that to work in Light Flow Lite, guess I'm not seeing it. Or it doesn't work in the app's test mode. (Edit, it seems to work with bk button when charging, so it might just work after all, we'll see. )

Finally things are starting to happen around here. I see the thread had a name change.:silly:

Hi buddy. I would if I could buy you a beer.
Q: how to control led notification? Both butrons stay ON when connected to charge. No other notificational behavior. Tried Light Flow. Searched SmartPack.
Q: I see random short freezes while working with phone, do you?
Less importantly:
Q: do you consider TWRP better than SHRP?
Q: Magisc... I had to install it again from magisc manager to make the kernel manager work.
I using v3 on sp03. Flashed by SHRP.

In Light Flow you need to enable Root Mode under Device Settings and Root and under LED Control choose Control - Light Flow controls the LED (although it works for me with No Control with some limitations)

Great. This SmartPack thing, is quite a tool... Although under Display and LED, there is just a slider to turn everything off. Btw, that's cool. Should dig in more.
the option for overclock, does it (almost safely) work?

Excellent work, although there are several details, the first is that the battery drains very quickly and heats up constantly only using light apps; with the last two kernel versions. Also, the UltimateScript script causes some applications to crash. The effort for the development of this device is appreciated

We are looking into the battery drain problem. The heatups are expected, because cpu is always running at max frequency, though it shouldn't cause high drain. As for the apps crashing, install this https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MqdH1lbBaCOK2pUEXbTR4LH71vJ7PQh6/view?usp=drivesdk and enable "FirebaseInitProvider" under "Content provider" for the apps that are crashing. And to fix idle drain issue, simply turn on "Auto Block" and "Force Doze" in the settings of that app

I tried the app you recommend but it didn't work for me with some system apps like Google's, also when I rebooted I was stunned by the unlocked bootloader warning. Better opt to reset and not install the script to avoid that problem. Anyway good work
