It saves battery and make your battery last long

Does it conflicted with no frills or set cpu like that? Because of their mode?
Might try it but if it conflicted I think not gonna use it.
How do you think?

Please look for one in the Play Store and post in the correct section. This thread does not belong in Development. It belongs in General.
try antutu saver baterry.. I use and I feel work..
I think its juice defender ultimate

Droidwall is better than juice defender ultimate when tweaked correctly.
I screwed up and changed the voltages on my phone and battery life took a nose dive. I know I should of recorded the original settings but I didn't. Could some one please list what the original settings where and maybe some recommendations.
Samsung T 989
Disable what ever app that your using for voltage control and then reflash the kernel or rom and your stock voltage table will be restored'
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
Thanks tried that but the numbers don't seem correct
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
Lol.. as long as you have nothing set to set voltage PR frequency at boot and you reflashed your kernel them it is right. Its not one of those maybe situations..

it`s absolutely vital to the phone, is one of the main cores of the android system.. i cant recall exactly what is doing tho, but i remember that you cant disable, or anything like that.. from what i have read other ppls using different roms seem to have the same problem with netd eating up the cpu, and some of them said that it was somewhat related to some specific governors...so try to switch from whatever governor you are now to a different one and see if it helps
the thing is, that the lib isnt needed for gio/ace/mini/fit ...
Maybe the try to load it makes more ram consumption, but it can be easy disabled in source

How to disable it ? Because my gio was very smooth, and suddenly laggy after its appear with high cpu usage.
And what is the bad effect if we disable it ?
Sent from my GT-S5660 using xda app-developers app
there is no one
its just disabling the searching for it!
so the corresponding class wont search anymore for libnetdinterface.so

It has something to do with the wifi interface. I had netd-hangs everytime I had wifi & 3G on while no known wifi network was around me. Since I'm disabling wifi when I leave home, I didn't had any hangs anymore. Changing governor doesn't help, tested by myself.

Is your question, can you leave this off? Or on?
You're taking about the setting in the Hidden Menu?
Someone else posted something about this, their name started with a"C" I believe.
Anyway, mine is turned off and has been since that other post. I don't really think it did much for my battery life.

If i can leave it on because i love my antutu score of 21000 and my brightness issue and my bateery life has been good i tether alot but the phone stays right around 102 im going to do a full bateery test with it today but i just wanna know is it gunna kill my phone having it on at all times

So here's the thread it was originally brought up on. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2328478
I remember my issues with it. I'm outside a lot and the phone will autodim down to 67% making it unreadable in sunlight. When I used this setting, I worked great outside but the screen would do some weird things when I left it on all the time. But I think it was conflicting with the autobrightness. It probably does make your phone run hotter as the cpu and the display won't be using any temperature regulation. And the Display has always been an issue on stock.
Yea i readthat one allready i just need some to giv reassurance that its beeb thoroughly tested

What do you mean by thoroughly tested? I've had it disabled for months without any issues.

Edit PAC Performance app is now on play storie
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pacman.performance
To update it from here you have to remove PAC performance from system app and reboot. Then install from play store.
Install as normal apk
Needs root.
It's extracted from PAC ROM but working good on other ROM.
With this you can disable second core but you have to set a single core governor for it to stick (ondemand, interactive)
Link :
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/w8sohsga7wsli2c/AADLDtFwGxuxWCIVFFHfzLwqa/PACPerformance.apk
P.S Disabling second core brought me an huge increase in battery life!!
before it was lasting for 10-12 hours with this ( not running on heavy usage or it would kill performance),
and now it can lasts a day (like in cm10.2 by maclaw) but I use phone a lot (3G, camera, calls, sms etc)

hi . what does it happen if we disable core 2 . ? is it improve phone or not ?
Read the OP!
Sent from my GT-I8190 using xda app-developers app
Don't know if PAC performance is the same as AOKP, anyway, was ported (with much more options) a long time ago here. Enjoy
Edited: & yes, it support our S3 mini.
It's not the same I think, the only reason i shared this is beacause it allows to shut off second core giving a battery life boost...

Ah, ok sorry. Anyway, I'll leave the link, just in case anyone want to try that app too
I was thinking of transforming this thread in a tweaks, mod section where to share all performance or battery tweaks working in our device. What do you think guys? It worth the time?

Yes, disable set on boot in performance setting but remember to disable 2nd core on PAC performance on every reboot, it doesn't stick for the moment
