Once just got my new Note 2 and so far I love it however the new version of TW only had a 4x4 grid arrangement on each home screen. Is there a way to get to the 5x5 we had on the original Note or will it be a case of using a custom launcher for this?

Considering the screen size any idea on why Samsung went with the 4x4 arrangement? Is it due to the lower resolution being 1280x720 as opposed to 1280x800 on the original?

I believe Home Screen Landscape mode is added with JB 4.1.2.

That is referring to the stock JB launcher for the Nexus 7 - nothing to do with the TW launcher.

Try Nova Prime, it's what I use on my Note 2 and it works great.
According to the developer of Nova, Apex just copied his work and sell it under their name.

Post this on all Samsung sites including their Facebook / Google+ pages. The more people demand this, the sooner we will get this in the next update.
I tried all the launcher with my note 1. But with the latest from for the note 1, it was pretty fast and smooth and didn't feel like using a separate launcher.
Does the note 2 slow or stutter with prime launcher?

It's got cool animations. A ics style app drawer.. folders... I think it looks better than tw4 since our screen is pretty damn big.

considering the fact that the gs3 is being launced with ICS, yes, you need ICS.

I downloaded the 4*5 one. I didn't flash, I put the lib file in system/lib and copied the system/app files, fixed permissions and reboot. I needed to make a bit of room in 'system' and I wouldn't bother trying calendar as op says it forcecloses. Launcher runs silky smooth though - my new favorite.
Not much of a TWiz fan. I've at one time swore by GoLauncher. As it got more bloated, it somewhat made my (previous) phones slow to a crawl. I decided to move away from it. Holo(HD) seemed to cover all the aspects that I needed in a Launcher. I've recently took a liking to 'Atom' Launcher very much.
What about you guys? Is everyone on Apex?

I use ilauncher and change the icons to cm10 jb styled icons.
Simply because the transition/resumes are smoother than any launcher to date. Just like iOS.

It's pricey at $15 for an app, but hands down the best launcher I've used to date. I also was a GoLauncher fan, but it literally killed my wifes phone, and the search for a replacement led here. It has very cool features and built in widgets.

To be honest i can't even decide on one. They are all awesome. However, i have ADWLauncher EX running now. The reason i am using it because i like their presets. There is one called Fast.... and OMG.... when i click on the drawer it shows up instantly and its SUPER smooth.... scrolling up and down ect.
Other then that im a Holo Launcher on my GN and my TFP
I like to use Nova

I know and when I installed originally, I chose the scrolling but don't like it now. I had asked in the deT thread if I could go back with the aroma and install the unscrollable over my existing (dirty flash) without worry(force closes, the themed icons in the notification panel) and no response. Is that possible. Also, asked where to find those awesome wallpapers in es file explorer so I can put them on my skyrocket?

I seen your main post what do you mean with AtrixHD launcher?? This launcher is not from the Atrix HD it has to be from one of the newer Droid Razr or Droid Razr Ultra`s.
It seems to be from the Razr according to other threads throughout the forum.

That launcher is from an AtrixHD post that I found here on XDA. So I assume it's from it. I also tried the launcher from the Razr Maxx and it also works.

Thats odd, Cause this Launcher, Well the clock part of the launcher is NOT from the Atrix HD the launchers are the same, But the Circle Clock did NOT come from the AtrixHD

I'm pretty sure I never said the widget came from the ATRIXHD. I said the launcher, not the widget. But okay.
I believe the widget is from a droid RAZR max or just RAZR HD.
