[Q] Xperia Play Laucher under construction?

Hey Guys,
When I open my xperia play launcher to see what new games they got, it is saying "Under Construction" on it and I'm not able to see the games. Is this normal or a bug? I've been doing some minor hacking on my phone like root and unlocking stuff but nothing major.

[Q] New Xperia S android 4.0 apps

Hi,
recently, I have upgraded my Xperia Arc S to the official sony android 4.0 rom for 2011 xperias, which is quite nice.
But today (21st June, 2012), Sony released a new android update for the Sony Xperia S, which is different from the android 4 for my arc. Here is the video about it: youtube.com/watch?v=i189IkIvJc0&feature=player_embedded
I noticed that among everything else, Xperia S got 3 new awesome apps: "Walkman", "Album" & "Movies." The "Messaging" app also got updated with useful new features [shown in video at 2:45]. Would anybody be willing to make these 4 apps available on other Xperia phones as well?

dude we already have walkman and messaging app..and hopefully remaining apps will be available soon

[Q] Xperia Play Game Launcher on Galaxy S3

I just got rid of my xperia play. I would live to get the game Launcherto work on my i747 galaxy s3, which is on jellybean 4.1.2. Is this ppossible? Please instruct on how to do this.

First this should go in the Q&A section, second the Xperia PLAY games launcher will not work on any device except Sony (Ericsson) devices due to the Sony framework that is required in order for the Launcher to work.
So unfortunately no it will not work.

You could use Snapdragon's GameCommand app as a pseudo Games Launcher. Its no longer available as Snapdragon pulled it from the market a year ago, but thanks to poo-tang he has the apk attached at this thread:

It should work on your new phone and it lets you select what apps/games you want it to show in the launcher.

[REQ.ROM] Please make a 4.4.2 KitKat Rom with all the Sony Apps and features

Somebody please make an Android 4.4.2 KitKat Rom with all the Sony Apps like Walkman, Cybershot, Album, Honami Home etc including its framework. . . It would really be nice if Aroma is also included like in Nature Xperia Advance v3.2 International Edition ROM. . . Carbon Rom makers or Paranoid Android Developers or anyone.
I tried many different Rom's but I found none of them stable. All has got some problem or the other...
It would really be cool if someone does make one with all the Sony Apps.

I was in the same boat as you, but ever since I moved to BeanStalk, I don't really miss anything from Sony, except the Small Apps. I am in the process of trying to port (following the CM11 guide) the Small Apps on the BeanStalk. If I successfully manage to do that, I am in heaven!
Google camera is just as good as the Sony stock one.
The Apollo is also just as good, not to mention the built-in DSP for the headphones, which is fantastic.
Even with the stock ROM, I used QuickPic, since it is quicker than the built-in Gallery.
The ROM is fully customisable, and I moved from Google's Home to NOVA launcher... the phone is just flying!
The only other thing which I "ported" from the Sony stock and I love is the "Top contacts" widget. I used Titanium backup to restore the app and behold it worked straight away!

I actually just discovered HALO!
It is included in the BeanStalk version. It is quite similar to SmallApps from Sony. It is not quite as elegant, BUT it also has a major advantage!
You can fire app ANY app on your phone as a SmallApp!
I am fully converted now!

I Believe he is looking for the Xperia S lt26i 4.4.2 Sony Apps as I am.
I got the Xperia Z2 4.4.2 deodexed rom from it´s forum but I don´t know which files the Sony Framework requires and what kind of modification I should do to it.
Anybody know a way to make a Flashable zip of it?

Sorry for the very late post, but i just bought a Xperia Z5 to use Mirror Link on my Polo Composition Media and avoid driving restriction but this app cannot do anything about it. When you start driving the screen turns black and nothing is shown. And the followin message is diplayed: this app is not compatible with mirrorlink...
My Xperia Z5 has not been update and is using Andoid 5.1.1.
