really, u cant just search google? And there is like this big big big thread with all the info u need on flashing, rooting roming in the general.and development sections. Im starting to hate the way this forum is behaving...why cant people use their brains sometime, instead of coming on here, opening one thread, and typing the exact words they coulda typed into google search. OMFG

although there have been [unsuccessful] attempts at a soft[ware]-unlock, the only known way(s) to unlock or s-off [gsm] one v is through a hardware solution. lg(e) tool or riff box both offer methods.
HTC won't give us S-OFF ever so forget about it. They won't even change CID if you pay em, this been asked already why not search before posting?
u do realize this was a three month old thread :3

Ye but still I answered there and it contained the information he needed right. People are just lazy and searching information is just too hard Ofc it's easier to just post and ask

SuperCID and S-off can be obtained through various jtag methods: known lg(e) tool, riff box & medusa for gsm variant.

If information is relevant, I see no reason to still not discuss. Besides, I just bought one of these phones

HTC One X or HTC One?

Guys, have a dilema. Have both devices, but caught myself using HOX more often than M7. I have to confess that the old Sense on HOX is more "friendly"... On the other side, the m7 is technically more advanced (LTE,double RAM...).
As I can't decide which one to keep, I'd like to ask your opinion. Thanks.

If money isn't the issue I honestly can't see a reason why you wouldn't go for the One. Software-wise there will be roms to suit your needs.

Keep the HTC One m8! Eventually developers will be targeting the m7!
However, for the time being, Our HOX has the BEST development!
Go for one

Device not mounting anywhere.. Please help.

Earlier I was trying to "S-OFF" my device so I can rewrite my "SuperCID" so I can update my Hboot to 2.15 and somewhere along that process i've managed to seriously screw my phone over.
Currently, my phone is unable to be mounted anywhere... My phone is without a ROM, so all i've got access to is the bootloader screen, and TWRP v2.7. And mounting my device in recovery mode does not work.
I know this was completely stupid of me, and that i've might have made my phone into a pretty expensive paper weight. But any help at all would greatly appreciated. Thanks all.
2.15 does not exist on the HTC one X international ! So my guess is you have the EVITA dual core model !
