What Soundchip is it in hox? Yamaha?

We don't know. From the alsa files it seems to be a nvidia dac.

Is it possible to remove or disable Google now swipe up thing ? It does my nads in.

You can kinds of disable it using SwipeLaunch Disabler.

Uneven display?

I just got my note 2 att version to replace my previous n7100. It seems the dispkay on the att note is more gray in its whites and a bit uneven (left side is more gray than right)
I did a search and didnt srem to find any answers. Anybody else have this problem?
I bought it BNIB off of someone as well, what does that mean for my warranty?

Go under settings-display-display mode and change the settings to see if that helps.

I have, it doesnt seem to help. Its not in the lock screen only either, its the display istelf not sometying in software

I noticed this too. But only on the lockscreen so it doesn't bother me much.

Set DNS works for wifi, too.

[Q] Accelerometer on standby

Aite so there are many apps that can work as pedometers but the problem is that when the Note 2 goes to sleep, the G-sensor does as well so the pedometer stops working :/ It continues to work on the Galaxy S2 so it's obviously software related.
Anyone have any tips on what could be done to keep it awake?
