Hey guys,
Ive been a proud owner of the Samsung galaxy S3 - GTI9300 - T-Mobile for a week now.
Since im studying computer science I was kinda interested in ROOT Acces.
Got everything running I suppose.
Only thing im currenly looking for is to remove the damn splash screen.
Lots of fora suggested flashing with a non branded firmware.
I just dont want to hard brick my new phone ;<
Any Suggestions for which file to use?
Model: GT-I9300
Android version:4.0.4
Baseband version I9300BOLH2
Country: The Netherlands

Um, what kind of title is "[Q] Introducing" how is that supposed to tell the person browsing through the threads what your thread is about?
And you also are in the wrong section. This is for T-Mobile samsung galaxy s 3 SGH-T999 d2Tmo.
You want to go here and post there. Then maybe people can help. But dont use [Q]Introducing as your title.. that makes absolutely not sense -.-

Alright, I really want to flash my Galaxy S3 but I'm really lost so I'm going to list a lot of information so someone can help me lol.
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S3
Model: SGH-I747
Android Version: 4.1.1
Baseband version: I747UCDLK3
Network: Simple Mobile
I would appreciate any help. My only real concern about this is I've heard how much people stress about getting the right download for the carrier your phone is with. I'm with Simple Mobile, but my phone is a Samsung Galaxy S3 from AT&T that I unlocked. I don't know if there's anything different I must do to root it but anyways, thank you and I really hope I get some answers!
Grab the AT&T LK3 image from here and follow along with the rest of the instructions... that should do it for you.
Hi guys! I bought a 2nd hand Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Although jelly bean 4.3 is out for the device and in my country, it is still not updated. It seems like the previous owner changed the ROM and CSC of the device before.
Of course, I am unable to contact the original owner. I got this from a buy and sell shop.
Is there any way for me to figure out the right ROM version and CSC for the device so it can get the normal updates from Samsung?
Thank you so much!

Greetings fellow Android Users! Hope you are doing fine wherever you are. I have been following this forum for quite sometime now and decided to write this new thread because i am in need of help. I am new to android having changed from blackberry a few months back and decided to get the Galaxy Note II GT-N7105. For the past few weeks, i have been thinking whether or not to root my phone to get better customisation of your device but is afraid of tripping the warranty with KNOX. I would not think twice if i surpassed my warranty period but i've only gotten this phone for about 5 months and it really got me thinking. I am residing in HongKong now and purchased my phone from there. I did some research on this forum and came across this thread: " http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2618261 " and would like to ask a few questions regarding this matter.
Here are the details of my phone:
Model No : GT-N7105
Android Version : 4.3
Baseband version : N7105ZHEML1
Build Number : JSS15J.N7105ZHUENA1
I want to know if any of you GT-N7105 (Hong Kong Phones or any other) users have successfully rooted your device without Tripping KNOX, hence does not void the warranty, using the method on the thread i posted above or any other method? And also, If you have successfully rooted your device, do you recommend installing a custom recovery like Philz Touch in order for you to flash a Rom? Will you be able to also update the latest software from OTA (Samsung official) if they released it? Or you have to manually do that? I appreciate your time reading this new thread i hope you guys can help me. Have a nice day :good:

Hello Everyone,
I am from India and I recently bought a Factory Unlocked AT&T Galaxy Note 4 online (The phone is from US). It has Kitkat on it and I dont think I can get Lollipop over OTA for my phone. I found a link to download N910AUCU1COC4, So my question is can I go ahead and flash my phone with this firmware?
I just want to make sure it will not cause any problem likes phone getting locked again or something? (This would really suck )
I will really appreciate your help guys.
Thanks,
NJ
You can flash it thru Odin... Good luck!

Hey i know it's a bit late but is there anyway you can supply that link???
Hay guyz,
I got a small situation here... I bought Note 8.0 from the internet last yr and didnt knew much at that time. Now im looking at it and turns out its MWD csc and its still on the 4.1.2 android!! So there is no official way to upgrade it to any other version of android.
Secondly, I at this stage dont want to go for a custom ROM..
So is there a way to upgrade the android?
Thanks a lot for your help
Flash the android version you want with Odin. the android files can be found at samsung mobile. Make sure you have the right file for your note 8, (5100, 5110, or 5120). The wrong file will turn the note into a paperweight.
