First off, a big thanks to tj_style (from gMini) for making cm7.1 tass Kang rom and Behradgh (from gS) for porting & supporting this rom in the Galaxy Gio.
the cm7.1 based on Andoid 2.3.5 now avaible but it is ported and it is unoficiall.
it's New project for Developers until complete Kernel and Library for this phone.

Flash Clockworkod Recovery:
skip this step if you have clockworkmod installed on your phone
Download :http://cdn.thegraveyard.org/particle/gt-s5660/gt-s5660-cwm-recovery-20110826-6.tar.md5
Open Odin Multi Downloader
Select GIO_v1.0.ops on OPS Section
Check One Package in Option
Select cwm.tar on One Package Section
Press Start to start flashing
download cm7.1 and extract it:

before the installation of cm7.1 you should change META-INF file

Extract file and replace META-INF file with META-INF file in the cm7.1 zip
now select SYSTEM and META-INF files and make an archive with zip format
Flash Cyanogenmod 7 ROM :
Download and copy the CM7.1 ROM that Ziped to SD Card
Reboot to Recovery Mode
Select mounth and storange and format the/data/cash/system
Select wipe data/cache/dalvik cache
Select install zip from sd card
Select choose zip from sd card
Select the new CM7 ROM
Select Yes - Install update
Wait to installation be complete
Select reboot system now
enjoy from cm7.1

dear friend this rom supported the rfs ....
for supporting ext4 we should have a kernel that it is compatible with ext4

the developer uses the stock kernel ...so cant support ext4 ...we should make a kernel with ext4 support...
i have took a bechmark from this rom in quadrant....its score was 1644!!!!!!!!!!

this's because CF-Root tweaking, i know the modder who ported CF-Root to galaxy gio. he's from indonesia. i hope he'll join here soon

that's a big quadrant, but, the performance can't be judged only from quadrant

if u upload youre boot.img that u took it from your cwm backup,,,,we can support ext4....be serius ....my friend ..u can help us

Wipe Data? Only if you have any problems (like bootloop or stuck on Samsung logo or ANDROID text longer than 3-4 minutes for the first time)
Do you have FC on some apps? Try to do Fix permission in recovery (Advanced menu), if it won't help, do wipe data.

I opened this thread, because I don't have permission to modify topic by Phiexz.
I have another issue after factory data reset that was in 7.1 RC2, the calls are rejected with back soft key. Kernel is the one included in build 4 (#13)...
Please make a backup and than factory reset to check

is anyone having trouble with random incoming call melodies, also it plays just one time and then it's silent, sometimes the vibration stops together with the melody. it happens both with stock and user melodies. the message tone and notification are ok.
the good point with this rom is that i'm able again to send/receive mms. with 7.1, no matter what i did, i couldn't.
everything else works perfect so far, thank you so much for your work!

Wow.... I don't have any idea. If I were you, I would try to flash stock rom again and do wipe data/cache in xrecovery.

I am on cm since 7.1 rc 01 was released so I wont go back on stock, did full wipe installed cm 7.2 rc 0 build 4 full wipe again and now restoring apps with titanium I hope I wont get bootloop again

Who wants to use LeWa theme (lwt), just follow these instructions!

Have u tried like a normal rom installing? I have no problem. Maybe your carrier network gets on problem or? Cause my Indos*t carrier network's fine while using this rom. Seriously.
Maybe u can try flash from stock first. To be "cleaned-up" or fresh. Then, try to this rom

I love this ROM, the very big problem is, I cannot download from either 2 links you've put in your website, SCD said wrong IP and the other one has survey lock that does not exist... pls upload it at MF

I have 2 small problems. Some graphic bug in Power manager app (I had this problem before when I used an older file resources.arsc but now I have it after clean installation) and Music app do not display album art. For me that's all, this version is nice, everything works good.

yep i want to test it but why don't you make MiniCM10.1? CM10.1 is more faster and beautiful than cm10
MiniCM10 is after market ROM like ParanoidAndroid, AOKP, Cyanmobile, etc. It is totally different ROM Created by NobodyAtAll (RD), Dark_dog (RT) & Team. It has more features then CM10 Plus It is specially Built For LDPI Devices. MiniCM10 is specially made for msm7x27 semc devices (Low Legacy Devices)

Now need to investigate its some files that makes device not to install the rom.

Tried to remove some useless "Set_perm" lines but it still says that error
EDIT # 4:
Seams to be "audio_effects.conf" permission is wrong in /vendor/etc instead of /system/etc.lets try to flash again.

You can do first adb logcat > logcat.txt then just attach it to your post or in a zip archive or you can upload it to an filehosting server .

Well, after 8 months of frustration working with the S6810, I got a chance on a mint Galaxy S2 at a bargain price and went for it. Them I sold the shyte S6810 and used to money for groceries for my daughters at their house as things were a bit tight for them this month and the change I used for gas for the car... So after 8 months of frustration the Fame finally managed to do something useful.
As for the Galaxy S2.... It had already been upgraded to Jelly Bean and within half an hour I was rooted and running all my apps again, but without lag, freeze and frustration.
Seriously folks, stop flogging a dead horse and get rid of the Fame and get something better with real support and roms and kernels and lots of goodies! You can only get happier...

how could you get it fixed?? i got into boot loop and cant get out :crying::crying:. Even tried to flash stock firmware from sammobile via odin but it gives md5 hash error :crying:, help needed . plz help.. ty

you can fix your phone via samsung kies or via nandroid backup.....i will make a new kernel for this phone also. and a method to flash it if u want than .........rply me...

*smooth phone performance
*smooth multitasking
*free ram and much more......
........overclocked to 1.2ghz......and swap support...

1..clockworkmod name folder in extsdcard
2..make a backup name folder in clockworkmode folder
3...then make a folder in backup named 2014-06-13.09.46.16
4...then make a *file* in 2014-06-13.09.46.16 folder...file named is nandroid.md5
5..and also placed my kernel in this 2014-06-13.09.46.16 folder....
so 2014-06-13.09.46.16 folder have two files 1 is nandroi.md5 and second is boot.img which is in my zip..................
then go to cwm and go to backup and restore after that advance restore and flash.......feeell happpy if i am helping you please click on thanks as asmall reward....

don't try that man,the kernel is still have a bug ,i mean still bootloop
