Hi Guys - my new note 2 is working well when I make a phone call but the music transfer is not working - a relative new car with a new radio / audio system !!!
Any help or eperience from your side ?
THANKS a lot !
Does your car system support audio streaming over bluetooth ( a2dp)? If it does it should work.
Hi mate is working well with my 2009 merc what car and system do you have?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
A lot of inbuilt car systems do not support a2dp

Have you checked that you have the "Media Audio" available and selected in your BT settings for your paired head unit?
Regards,
Dave

Unfortunately it is a "feature " of android 4+
For some reason google removed support for some older bluetooth protocols. Any device that uses them will no longer work.
It's a real pain, and I have not been able to find a way of reenabling the support in Android, or find a bluetooth fm transmitter that supports the newer.protocols. I had to resort to using a cable.

Important Note: The media & type and search widgets work but do not fill the screen size. The other apps & widgets seem to work fine. eb

The "Dev Tools" app works but in limited capacity(since we do not yet have root and most functions are blocked). I mainly use it for the "media scanner" function. This can help when you have freshly downloaded/added media files and don't want to have to restart for them to show up. eb

Has anyone tried the DSP app on the ion
To me it does not sound/appear to make a difference in the audio
Please share your thoughts

I think DSP works well. I use it with blue tooth audio in my car

It can be a little weird when used in conjunction w xloud. They both employ compression/expansion algorithms that can be a bit much w chained together. I suggest running one or the other and experimenting w them individualy. More than likely as mentioned there may be uses for both w applied to different outputs. Turn off xloud and you should hear more audible changes w eq-ing. Otherwise xloud will compress the boosts & cuts made to the frequencies. eb

I am too found DSP is useless ... But after reading this ... will test that out

Check the location settings. The gps was disabled on mine by default so it was only using cell towers to provide location.
High precision, activated... Having issues there is anyway to calibrate it? Im crying, sold my S5 for this new G3..

Call T-Mobile and see if they can tell you what to do. I know you can go into the special settings by entering a code in the dialer, but I forgot what it was.
I'm bored to thiss... sold my S5 with better GPS of the world to this
I have done a clean install of this ROM twice and everything works fine until I pair my Bluetooth headset with my device. After doing so and shutting off the Bluetooth, incoming calls do not ring and I cannot hear the person on the other end of the call (he can hear me). The problem persists with a reboot. If I do not set up my Bluetooth device after a clean install, everything works well again.
Can anybody help / provide advice?
Hello,
A friend of mine had the same problem after an factory reset, but he used to have a stock-rom Galaxy Note3.
He has fixed it with the app soundabout. With this app you can set which speaker or mic you are want to be using.

Since it's green it's active and can't be deleted. The one you like to delete must be turned off first.
Either your phone or the OBD.
I will try from the bluetooth app. As I always try from the setting & it dont have the option for remove
