This is the link to download the last virtuous infinity rom. I suggest you to wipe factory reset, cache and davilik cache before installing.
On my DHD this rom works great, also the camera!
Hope this will be usefull

It's always recommend to do a full wipe before installing a new ROM.

How recovery you use? CWM or 4EXT?
Wipe this:
Data/factory reset
Boot
System
Data
Cache
Dalvik cache.
If you use 4ext, go into wipe format menu and select: format all partition (except sdcar)
Try this and post the results.
Sorry for my bad english

I use this rom everyday and it is really stable and smooth! Everything works on my DHD and it works great! I follow some suggestion on the virtuous infinity thread, I reccomend you to read the other user experiences, issues, suggestions etc. .
Let me know as soon as you try to install it if everything works great.

Maybe try a different SD Card.

Try version 1.35 first. Here the link:
Rapidgator
Virtuous Mirror
MD5: b5a1cecd1c743b8b92a50f59dbba1d5c
Always remember to check MD5
If this does not work try a different sd card

hey im sorry i couldnt reply any sooner
after downloading the 1.35 beta1
made a full wipe
and flashed it
it tells me installation complete , and when it reboots it get stuck on the boot screen
that is a glowing V as it did in the older ver(1.33 alpha3)
i think the first thing to do is to try to change the sd card
i will do it now
but i just woke up and my phone doesnt have enough juice....waiting for it to recharge
if changing the sd card didnt work
should i consider downloading the 4EXT?........
will it make any difference
im on CWM5.0.2.0
OR
is there something wrong with my mobile cause as far as this goes
im the only case on the internet
i did found this link which is similar to mine
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1652055
but i didnt fully understand the process of flashing the boot.img
azzledazzle said:
you have to use the boot.img for which ever ROM you want to flash.. E.G - You cant flash boot.img from a ROM based on 1.70/8 RUU if the ROM you want is based on a 1.53 RUU..... or vice versa, you catch my drift.
where i can get the boot.img
and how to install it

so i did a little sniffing regarding the installation of boot.img
and i found this
http://forums.infectedrom.com/showthread.php/1711-Bootloops-with-all-new-roms
its a boot loop.
Try the following steps,
1. go to recovery > wipe & factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, go to mounts and storage, wipe system, data, cache, sd card... everything u can find there... wipe all..
2. in recovery DO NOT REBOOT, turn off phone
3. go to android development of evo 3d gsm, find a rom, for example mikrunny 1.06, open the archive extract the boot.img from the kernel folder.
4. assuming u have android sdk installed on ur computer, make a new folder and from the android sdk tools copy adb.exe, fastboot.exe, adbwinapi.dll (exact same files u used to unlock bootloader). also in this folder put that boot.img you extracted from the rom
5. put that folder in C:\
6. get back to phone , still DO NOT BOOT UP YET, and power up phone in bootloader mode (vol down & power) and go to fastboot
7. connect phone to pc in fastboot usb mode
8. open command prompt, type cd c:\"folder" ("folder" = folder u created with the sdk tools)
9. type in cmd: fastboot flash boot boot.img
10. after it's completed, go to recovery, still do not boot up phone
11. in recovery go to mounts and storage, usb storage and now copy the whole rom and nothing but the rom on the sd card
12. install zip from sdcard, select rom and let it install, it should boot up automatically
i dont know but it probably happened because i tried to install the MIUI rom
it gave the (status 7) error
people are having bad times after this error
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1773370
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1009587
so anyway if changing th sd card didnt work i will try to use the boot.img method
but i have to ask
in the kernel folder there is multiple boot.img files

Unknown Imei and baseband, no network. Help needed

Hello
In advance, sorry for my bad english !
I have serious problem with my HOX since 2 week. After flashing Viper rom, I lost my Imei. I do everything : relock and unlock bootloader, install stock rom, ruu rom (ICS and JB) all version, restore from nandroid backup that I've do before, install almost all rom (Viper, Blade, Orio, Arhd, Insercoint...) but nothing :crying:, always unknown baseband and imei !
And what's weird, when I do "fastboot getvar all" from hboot I get this :
C:\fastboot>fastboot getvar all
(bootloader) version: 0.5a
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.39.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: 5.1204.162.29

I think that my Imei and basband are here, but how to get it work in this phone ?
In Samsung phones, imei and baseband are stored in "EFS" folder, and it's possible to restore it, but where and how in HOX ?
Help really needed
Flash the boot.img from the ROM zip.
Steps -
1. Connect your phone to the computer.
2. Open your fastboot folder. Extract your boot.img here.
3. Hold shift and do a right click. Click open command Window here.
4. In cmd, type - adb reboot-bootloader
5. Once the phone displays "FASTBOOT USB" on the screen, type in cmd - fastboot flash boot boot.img
6. After it has finished flashing the boot, in cmd type - fastboot erase cache
7. Disconnect phone and reboot in recovery.
8. Reflash ROM
9. Wipe Cache/Dalvik Cache
10. Reboot.
P. S. - Take off your Imei no. And serial number. It may be used for bad purposes

Thank's, but not work, I'm on stock rom 3.20. I almost try all roms, all kind of recovery and boot.img with no chance. Now I'm looking for radio.img, maybr will work if I flash it from bootloader.
p.s : I change the imei number before post it, thank
I have the same problem, fastboot getvar all, also shows the correct imei.
I tried RUU, reflash of rom, reflash of boot.img of which nothing improved the situation.
As I returned my phone for warranty it was turned down because I unlocked the phone. The replacement would have cost me 360€ witch is too much money, for repairing a phone.
This problem may be a hardware fault and might be impossible to fix without a new mainboard.
But if someone does come up with a solution i would be keen to hear it.
Its a very common problem only with viper rom. There is no solution.

It's a common problem but not only with viper rom.
Samsung phones have the same problem (unknow imei and baseband), but it's simple to restore it, because all is in "EFS" folder (in Galaxy phone).
That's why I think (I hope) that htc phones have a solution, but how ?
I had exactly the same problem. Tried installing several roms and kernels but nothing made it work. After messing around for a few hours I solved it.
This is what dit the trick for me
- Whipe everything (cache, dalvik, data)
- Flash boot.img found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1836919
- Whipe cache & dalvik
- Flash the ordroid rom
- Whipe cache again
- Reboot
For some reason this solved the problem

Thank you but it does not work for me, maybe it's because of the version 3.20.
I also want to know what recovery you used TWRP or stock, and the version of the Ordroid rom.

I followed your steps. Bootloader shows radio version 5.1204.167.31. So I downloaded Endeavoru_Radio_5.1204.167.31.zip and flashed it using cwm touch 6.0.4.7. But still Baseband version is unknown. No network, no wifi, no bluetooth. Please help me!!
easy answer
the answer is easy you need to install a new kernel !!! i am having the same problem every time that i install a new rom like Slim rom 4.4.4 and i am have for kernel endeavoru kk karnel 015m and is very smooth ! try it ! just install a new kernel !
Hi, i need a help with this problem.
Yesterday i bought htc one x, but i cant connect to a mobile network, airplane mode continuosly turning off, IMEI and Baseband numbers are unknown.
What should i do now, can i fix that issue?
The phone was never been used for instaling custom roms, bootloader is locked, here is the all informations that i got in fastboot mode:
LOCKED
ENDEAVORU PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.73.0000
CPLD-None
MICROP-None
RADIO-5.1204.167.31
eMMC-bootmode: disabled
CPU-bootmode: disabled
HW Secure boot: enabled
MODEM PATH : OFF
Jun 21 2013, 18:24:41
and here is what i got with fastboot getvar all command:
{

I readed somewhere that i can fix that problem with returning to stock RUU, but i also read that i cant downgrade if i am S-ON. I dont want to brick my device so i'm asking here for help.
Can anyone please help me with this, i will provide every informations you need.
Also to mention that i have all drivers instaled, htc sync installed and deleted, fastboot and adb drivers, android sdk manager, google usb drivers, flashtool and surly some more drivers, so i can start to do what you sad to me immedietly.
Tell me if i need something more. Thanks

Stock ROM for HOX VODAP203 (SFR)
LOOKOUT ! Screens are not reflect of original ROM. Been tweaked by me
Look of this ROM is the same than Original Sense.
Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it!
* I'm not a dev, I just want to share files I found which helped me..
*/
I decided to open this thread cause I spent a lot of time to find the files that I share with you today. I just hope it will help others users with same HOX config like me.
This is not an "HOW TO", just sharing files needed.
I wanted to update my HOX which config was:
Hboot 1.36
Version 1.29.163.13
and CID VODAP203.
and bring it to Android 4.2.2 and Sense 5, and bring Hbbot to 1.72.
Thanks and credits:
Special thanks to migascalp.
Original thread: http://www.forum-generationmobiles.net/t63139-rom-zip-stock-operateur
INSTRUCTIONS:
- First of all, nandroid backup and copy all your sd files on PC !
Starting from zero (1.29.163.13), I had to wipe all data and files on sd card, so you have been warned...
In download section, you'll find:
ROM SFR_3.14.163.27.zip
OTA OTA_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_50_S_Vodafone_FR_4.17.163.3-3.14.163.27_release_3328517hcgcnspavwggc5y.zip
Hbbot 1.72 firmware.zip
Copy ROM and OTA on sdcard.
1. Unlock your device and install Clockwork Recovery
2. Do a Nandroid backup! Copy all files on PC.
3. WIPE
4. Install the ROM by CWM (install zip on sdCard) don't forget flashing boot.img inside zip (fastboot flash boot boot.img, and fastboot erase cache)
5. Reboot - You're on original SFR 3.14.163.27
6. At this stage, screen is non responding, reboot in recovery by power+vol down.
7. Flash the OTA.zip in CWM
Reboot in fastboot usb and flash boot.img in OTA.zip
8. Reboot
9. You're in android 4.2.2 Sense 5....
Screen touch is working again.
After all is done, go in settings, about and updates and it will charge 3 upgrades (camera, Sense and other tweaks).
Let HOX installing them then reboot.
And voilà !
At this stage, there is no more OTA, so ROM is 4.17.163.3 Android 4.2.2 and Sense 5.
If you want to upgrade HBOOT:
Even with the .zip method you'll need to relock/unlock the bootloader. It's NOT flashable in
recovery. Create a new account at htcdev.
Here's how to use the zip:
1. fastboot oem lock
2. fastboot oem rebootRUU
3. fastboot flash zip firmware.zip (do several times if it fails)
4. fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin.
There are many tutos on "how to" flash ROM, upgrade Hbbot... here on HOX android section.

1rst zip is to flash in recovery.
As said before:
4. Install the ROM by CWM (install zip on sdCard) don't forget flashing boot.img inside zip (fastboot flash boot boot.img, and fastboot erase cache)
5. Reboot - You're on original SFR 3.14.163.27
If OTA does not work, then you have:
- to flash original recovery
- relock your phone
Then OTA will come by itself in normal update.
I can confirm that firmware.zip is the good one for CID VODAP203.
There's tutos here on onex forum which explain how to flash it.
Let me know if something's wrong.
See you and good luck

Need to push the file on web and need some time for upload. I'm on it actually.
I'll give you link tomorrow, time to go to bed and let PC working alone...
It's not a RUU but a nandroid backup. So you'll have to restore it by CWM.

Yes but it's an ooooooold one
Google it 1.26.163.2, that's why CWM recovery is the best way to have last version of android and sense.

Oh sorry, no, a JB one, no...didn't see that...
The problem is when I try to use an old RUU, it has a bootloader issue: error 140 bootloader version error

You don't have to use RUU.
You can flash zip, use recovery and then update by OTA.
Why looking for RUU?
Hi,
I have a problem : I did all what you wrote (flashed the ROM with CWM, then the boot.img with fastboot), the phone boot correctly but I can't enter my PIN code. The touchscreen is not responding, all what I can do is turning the volume up or down.
I hope you can help me solve this issue.
Thx

Need help/advice

(I'm a noob, keep that in mind plz) A few days ago, I decided to install a custom rom. I chose for the viper 4.0.7 rom (android 4.2.2 JB). I did a lot of reading and followed all the provided steps. In the end, I ended up with a "f**d up phone". At the beginning I was running android 4.2.2 (stock of course). The First thing that I did was unlocking the bootloader, after I did this I noticed that my wifi wasn't working anymore. I thought this wouldn't matter because I was going to install a different rom anyway. As stupid as I was for not making a backup, I flashed the recovery, boot img and rom. Once installed succesfully, I noticed that my wifi wasn't working either. My connection to the provider also weakens sometimes. I tried installing different roms, but still no change. Finaly when I installed a rom running on Android 4.1, my wifi started working (not good though). When I reinstalled the rom, (just to test) my wifi stopped working again... With some roms I don't have any connection to my provider, so i can't call or anything. I have no clue what to do, I have tried everything I could come up with. Also, when i install a rom android 4.3 or above, the phone ends up in a boot loop.
- relocking bootloader
- installing different roms/versions
- Ruu method. This fails, it says it can only update which also fails afterwards.
- Restoring a nandroid backup (found online). Succesfully restores, no wifi.
I really need help right now because i ran out of options..

I did wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache before installing a new rom. Anything i'm looking over?
For viper x :
Flash the boot.img via fastboot :
Fastboot flash boot boot.img
Fastboot erase cache
Enter the recovery and do :
Factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Advanced - wipe dalvik cache
Mounts and storage - format data, cache and system
Then install the rom, choose in the aroma for "no wipe" install and full rom install. Don't delete any apps from the lists.
Then it should boot fine.
These instructions apply with use of this recovery

Don't have your model 816, mine is single SIM a5_chl but this forum link had some answers for someone else with your model. Luckily your not really "hard bricked" because you can still enter hboot/fastboot but I understand why you say that. Hard bricked is when your phone is literally an expensive paperweight. Luckily you still have access to your boatloader and that's where most problems can get fixed. By the way what specifically happened that caused this issue? You're boatloader is locked and your not rooted so pure stock right with stock recovery but you can't get into recovery?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/desire-816/help/a5ul-unable-to-flash-ruu-t3294835
Also if you press the power button to select hboot you should go to fastboot mode where you can use volume key to select recovery then press power button to enter.
Below is a link to stock RUU's for yours and other models but you'll need stock recovery installed and working before they can be run. Hopefully your stock recovery is still there just need a different way to enter it i.e. Boatloader or key presses. Only flash your specific versions firmware.Try the one your were currently on before trying one older.

So you went into fastboot mode and when you press your power button to select hboot what happens?
Below is a link to a forum for the a5_ul with a link to the stock recovery. Verify this is your version then try flashing it using ADB/fastboot on your P.C. and your phone in fastboot mode. Do you have USB debugging selected in your phone developer options settings?

Did you have the HTC drivers installed on your P.C. or Linux computer?
flashing it using SDK Toolkit /ADB fastboot is doing it manually. The other method is to name the file a specific way so that your phone recognizes it but I have never used this method before. I downloaded the portion of the SDK Toolkit I needed, ADB/fastboot and had the HTC Windows drivers installed from HTC sync manager then put the recovery zip file into my ADB folder in my P.C. then opened command prompt from my ADB folder and typed fastboot flash recovery"name of zip file".img with my phone in fastboot and it flashed. This is what you should try and I'll link some instructions below. Good luck.
http://androidforums.com/threads/cd...ry-image-via-fastboot-or-from-sd-card.385358/
Also if ADB isn't recognizing your phone and you do have the drivers installed then it may be because of what's happened to your phone and then you would need to try and flash from your SD card with the file properly named for your version so that fastboot on your phone will recognize and flash it. I don't know what the proper name is for your version but a lot of the time it's already properly named. How did you lose your recovery in the first place with a locked boatloader and no root?
I must be getting tired. I believe you need an unlocked boatloader to flash a recovery image so you might not be able to flash it. If you can't get into your recovery thru H boot, press power button, volume button to select recovery, enter by pressing power button, then your going to need to flash the stock RUU or zip file with the stock recovery included in the file as you can flash an RUU with the boatloader locked. The issue is will the signed file recognize your firmware as it is now and flash? Wish this was my expertise but I've only flashed RUU files to start my devices clean again not to fix a problem.

I know my friend I read it the first time and I understand all that. I'd try the flash with your recovery zip and see if that works. If not then you'll need to flash stock RUU's until you find one that will work but only ones meant for your version . Did you click that one link I gave that was to a forum here in XDA because that forum looked like it was very similar to your problem ?

Thanks for the assist TobiBot. I don't have this version of phone and didn't catch this forum link when I was looking thru XDA. O.P. says he is flashing this way and not from ADB/fastboot and still keeps getting the" older version" notice. I read the whole forum you linked to and found this a few pages in. His radio I.D. is invalid in Getvar all he posted so maybe your suggestion combined with the above posters quote he can make it work. Hopefully just the fix you linked to will do it but if not this might get him the rest of the way.

How to get CID when computer can't detect phone?

So, after unsuccessfully flashing Lollipop to my HTC One X, I'm stuck. When I turn on the phone, I'm met with a looping "Resurrection Remix" logo that won't go away. I can boot into the CWM recovery menu, but any and all methods of restoring the phone via this menu have failed so far.
The main problem here is that my phone will only show up on my computer when I 'mount usb storage' through the recovery menu. When I try and run the 'fastboot getvar cid' command, though, it hangs on 'waiting for device' and nothing happens thereafter. I've seen that I need the correct CID so that I can get the right RUU for my phone....and even then, getting the right RUU seems to be difficult as well, with all the dead links I've seen scattered around.
I'm done with trying to get this new ROM to work, and I just want to go back to what I had on my phone. How the heck can I fix this one? I'll give you any information you need about the phone, but I just don't know how/what. Very new to all of this, and so very over my head!
Kind regards,
Jim.
I maybe wrong here as I'm not familiar with that ROM.
But your problem is wrong recovery. To install a lollipop ROM you need to use TWRP with New Layout.
CWM won't work.
You need to boot to bootloader to run fastboot command. While in recovery only adb command works.
There were multiple videos/tutorials that used this ROM with CWM, so that was why I used those 2 together. Anyways, I was indeed in fastboot when I was trying to get my CID.
In Resurrection Remix thread I read you need TWRP with new layout.
You should read the thread not some online videos/tutorials.
Try command fastboot getvar all
Also check your PC device driver show MyHtc not some warning
Simple steps to go :
1] Download Resurrection Remix 5.8.8 or any else of your choice
2] Download Twrp 3.0.2-0
-----Make sure you backup----
3]Open Twrp
4]Select Wipe
5] Advanced Wipe
6] Select everything
7] Wipe
8] Goto home of recovery
9] reboot to recovery again
10] Send the rom from pc to the phone
11] Flash!
12] Wait it to boot (first boot takes up to more than 15-45 mins)
:good:
Thank you ckpv5, I shall read threads in the future for sure. My device does show up as My HTC in Devince Manager, so it's seeing it there, just not in the cmd line.
Thanks DevUt. I had a look around for version 5.8.8 of Resurrection, but the only one I found was for a Lenovo device? Suffice it to say, I didn't want to use that one. I looked on the Resurrection site, and my device isn't actually listed at all....I then checked out CyanogenMod, and there IS a version available for the HTC One X. I think i'll go with this one. There is a very detailed wiki page on how to install it.
If (more like when) I run into any problems, i'll come back here!

Hmm, well if you're using RR 5.5.9, maybe I'll go with that, since I can at least get your support with it!

Also, i'm trying to find RR 5.5.9 and TWRP 3.0.2-0 but all the ones i find are *example* download RR 5.5.9 for (insert phone model here)
Are they actually different? Or are RR 5.5.9 and TWRP 3.0.2-0 the same, no matter which phone?

Which help that you need ? If it's about the Resurrection Remix, unable to help.
First thing that we need to know whether your fastboot is working or not.
As I mentioned earlier, what happens when you type command fastboot getvar all after you connect your phone while in bootloader mode
(not hboot mode) ...
Here is mine as example ... can you get the same as these ?
(Of course with your device CID)
If possible then we can talk about installing TWRP with New Layout and ROM.
If not possible, you may need different set of HTC USB drivers.

BEFORE DOING THIS CHECK YOUR DRIVERS ,ADB CONNECTION AND FASTBOOT
Every rom and recovery are different for every Devices
You can search our forums and find out out huge collection
Backup is optional
Twrp 3 :: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-x/orig-development/twrp-htc-one-x-t3429300
You can chose any ROM that says NEW LAYOUT
P.S first convert to new layout
Flashing = Clicking on the install button ,selecting the zip , and sliding the bar to install it
Check the the thread I gave to see how to install recovery
And last when you install the in the 10] step you need to transfer the rom
And don't worry this is one time investment as you go new layout ,you don't need to do all this steps

First - charge your device as your current battery-status is low.
Do you still have CWM recovery installed ? If yes .. just use it, transfer the stock ROM zip to your device after you mount usb storage while in recovery.
Download : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=20860
You can use either one ... odexed is pure stock, deodexed is modified stock and both are non-rooted
After downloaded the stock ROM zip, extract out the boot.img
If you don't have CWM recovery installed, I suggest TWRP - use this one : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24438995911971082
fastboot flash recovery twrp2810-endeavoru-OldLayout.img
transfer the download stock ROM zip after you enable MTP (do it twice)
After you installed the ROM zip, boot to bootloader and install the extracted boot.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Reboot - done.
If you prefer the nandroid backup method, let me know then I'll upload my stock non-rooted nandroid backup (but this will take time)

I couldn't charge my phone simply by plugging it into the computer. It would always boot to the bootloader and never charge. However, I found a script that loads the bootloader, then turns the phone off and repeats this process. Somehow it charges the phone, just very, very slowly. Once it has 3.68v of battery, apparently that will be enough to flash a recovery onto it. So I will wait until it has charged before I try your instructions.
